fun fact: you dont need to do a peace deal to win, you just need to stabilize all the zones. signing a peace deal just makes every zone gain tons of stability on their own, but is technically optional. this map seems like a pretty good one for just murdering all the insurgents and never starting the peace deal

i am struggling to find balance between civil and military approaches. once i go military heavy i lose from stability really quickly or i go civil heavy i lose to insurgency activity slowly.
Tips if you struggle to focus on both Military and Civilian st the same time. 1.Go for early Telecom and PR,they have massive support level boost so you should go for them. 2.Let insurgents take some areas (Especially remote area). It is not a good idea to attempt killing them early by intentionally and rapidly deploy coalition soldiers. Instead go for early garrison (If they spawn at the edge of the map) or early airstrike/1st national soldier (If not). 3.Train yourself and learn the maps in Normal difficulty. Casual is okay but I don't recommend to and jump straight to Brutal obviously not a good idea to train either (if you're an average player) or go on Brutal in Saffron Field or Mountain Pass because these 2 maps are good for training Brutal difficulty (The spawn rate and slow stability, not the map) 4.Always looking for concerns in each regions once in a while. If you struggle to focus on both Civilian and Military then focus on Military les because mostly focus on Military will most likely to destroy you more then focus on Civilian. Like I said earlier go for either early airstrike (Possibly go for heavy ordnance too),1st national soldier or garrison. Then slowly build your national soldiers and deploys some coalition soldiers if things are out of control. 5.Build roads and go for drones. If your stability is getting better then start going for roads. They allow your soldiers to move faster but going for it too early may struggle you to either build soldiers or support (often support). Hope these help you
@@4thwallbreaker843 number 2 is an issue for me because on brutal, I almost always have two separate groups of insurgency spawn. And I have no idea how to deal with it. No way can I train enough troops to knock out one of them quickly but I train troops anyway to try and eliminate one, but with two different fronts, I loose reputation far too quickly and by the time I take one front out, I’ve pretty much already lost. If they spawn at the start in one area that’s ok, I can train troops at an even enough rate to not go bankrupt but also keep them confined to an area. But I can’t do that with two fronts. I’m getting screwed because the insurgency is literally STARTING on two different fronts in completely different areas, and I can’t confine them and the two fronts take over the map very quickly
Yeah, me too! I think it would be so cool, if you're fighting against Zombies, and you have to take some extra initatives to keep them under control and with some new Events and all this!
Ive found Starting more on the lower left works. Get control of that first so that you have one way for the convoys to travel to the dam without being raided at all.
Trying to beat this map now, the issue with azure dam isn't the lack of stability (like the god forsaken map that came before it), but the insurgents beelining to the roads and messing things up, ways i loss were due to insurgent activity or the dam collapsing, though i don't think it's as hard or as confusing as black caves. I think i just need to rethink my ways of spending my income a little bit and make slight changes to my strategy and then hopefully it would be smooth sailing from there.
