Just a small tip: If you get the "foreign rival supporting insurgents" action prompt, get the foreign relations, but don't use subtle pressure right away. It goes up over time so instead of having 0% chance of slightly cutting funding of insurgents, it goes up to 4-5% by the end of the timer. It's not much, but there is literally no reason not to do it that way. In fact, you should always wait until the timer runs out for the maximum chance, unless it already is 100%.
It can get the whole 5% in the time it takes the decision to time out? Lol, why is PC version so casual compared to unbalanced bs that was the mobile game? Ah yes, I forgot, because nobody would pay for that shit otherwise and there aren't refunds and review bombing on mobile:(

you shoul wait out the timer whenver it appers. no reason not to. coalition soldiers homesick and crying for mommy? wait them out till it forces you to make a decision, therby gaining a few weeks extra. airstrike problems, wait it out till you have more cash. there is literally no singular reason to not wait anything out unless it gives you reputation and you are on 2 or 3 rep(or its a peace deal and you are losing big time)
@@normalchannel2185 coalition soldier home sending is actually the only scenario where you should tell them to leave right away, unless you already plan on giving them the extension. If you don’t want to extend them, they can accidentally enter a fight where a timer will run out in the middle of the fight and then you’ll lose reputation right away. Maybe the only time where this isn’t true is when insurgent are suppressed by other units and your coalition unit is giving them support
I find it funny that the 'care-bot' placed in the urban city is meant to increase support level, but then a few months later it just explodes the whole zone XD 10:54

We all know that civies LOVES explosions. That's why the US has overwhelming support from Middle Eastern countries they bombed, and Japanese agreed to stop the war with US after the atomic bombs, because its cool af and they love the US😂
I sorta feel like the turret should come with some downsides. Maybe an event where it accidentally fires on civilians, requiring the player to take them offline for a short time, or decrease their effectiveness to save reputation. Maybe this turret feature could stick to a new governor if it was nerfed a bit.
Or better be similar like the garrison where you have to carefully choose where to build and if it get destroyed you lose reputation or something like that
Maybe. I do think it's pretty balanced in terms of the scenario, because split and run exists, but if it was in vanilla under a particular governor, then yeah, maybe a chance of a negative event (reduced/removed by care bot, obviously) where it shoots someone you don't want it to (probably just the same event mechanics as with airstrikes hitting civilians). Maybe have it cost a dollar or 2 to deploy each time. You do have to account that this does remove garrisons, and garrisons can be pretty powerful esspecially if you upgrade them, so thats another balancing factor.
yeah, maybe there is a glitch in the software that results in the turret firing on civilians, or even the possibility the turret being hacked by the insurgents and having to either hire counter hackers or simply take the turret offline until the hacker can be found and killed. having downsides with using the turret is extremally interesting.
Imagine you'd have an automated turret outside your house, at crossroad, near highway entrance, at your gas station, at the grocery, at your work, at subway station. And that thing follows you with thermals, motion scanner and microphones. You walk past it and it looks at you the whole time. With a barrel of loaded machinegun. And you know that it runs on some unknown software that isn't allowed anywhere in the world, certainly not in the country that now occupies yours. Do you feel like supporting these people? Do you feel that your future is stable? Do you feel safe? Then what kind of reputation and support growth can you talk about while it is deployed?! This thing should be tanking both for you even without accidents. After them, it's basically sabotage and rioting to make you remove these discount terminators away from people's families and especially kids.
