Also Pac sampled Uptown Anthem for the song "Bomb 1st" another hard ass diss. You prolly already know this Im just putting it out there for those who don't. #PACallday

That was "old school." That was the joint that came out after "ego tripping." It was an olive branch. Just learned about that one yesterday. I'll add a link in the bio. It's another reason for Pac to be even more upset.
I think Pac would have made up with everybody including his once bone man Biggie. I feel this deep in my bones, the One Nation project would have built bridges to salvation. Miss you Pac everyday!
Against all odds and Troublesome 96 were better than hit em up to me. I love 2Pac's art regardless, I got all his albums, including the posthumous ones, compilations and soundtracks!
I have always said that Against All Odds was the greatest battle rap song of all time... He came at like 9 people on that song. it didn't come at Jay-Z on Against All Odds that was bomb first... it was a classic battle beat and you know he was telling the truth for my soul. very gripping and visual imagine someone tell you " load em up against the wall closes eyes since you lie, you died... Goodbye" and notice he didn't come at biggie on Against All Odds either. he told Puffy " tell them people you roll with whatever you want but you are not know what's going on, don't we?
I still remember being in my cousin's room with all our friends, smoking an El and tripping to this record!! We must've played it on repeat like 20x. We couldn't believe ANYONE could just go so hard on a record!! That and No Vaseline raised the bar for diss records.

Just to clarify, 2pac did NOT use the same beat as the "Get Money Remix" they used the same Dennis Edwards sample. Re creating their own version of Junior Mafia's idea.
I don't think that Pac would've collaborated with De La Soul after what happened. He was way too paranoid and caught in the East West mindset at the end of it. As if he would've worked with East cost artists like that.

Don't know if you know but in Naughty by Nature's video for "Uptown Anthem" Pac makes a mean cameo and Treach gets a little revenge from Juice. Also Pac sampled Uptown Anthem for the song "Bomb 1st" another hard ass diss. You prolly already know this Im just putting it out there for those who don't. #PACallday
Dope. Thanks for pointing that out.
These breakdown videos are dope af bro salute
Thank you!
if Tupac was still alive he definitely would have ran up on them on stage and it will be on UA-cam. but years later just like just like Naughty by Nature made amends with them I'm sure an older Tupac would have too
I agree. Pac made up with Nas before they beefed. The same would've happened here.
Plus you're not going to get any street cred talking SHIT to De LA Soul
At least you answered the question. I agree. ☺
This was well put together and very educational. I’m glad it popped up. Keep up the great work
WHERE did you get those posters in the background!!!???
Brah you are on point 🤜🏾🤛🏾
I like this guy. Subscribed
Good Video mate. Your not picking sides or dissing, just reporting. Cheers!
Tupac said De La was coming out with some "Renaissance shit and tryna clean up Hip Hop."
That was "old school." That was the joint that came out after "ego tripping." It was an olive branch. Just learned about that one yesterday. I'll add a link in the bio. It's another reason for Pac to be even more upset.
Well didn't 2Pac say he was trying to clean up the streets and help the community. He really contradicted himself sometimes.
You forgot the Part of Maceo wanting to fight Trech
I think Pac would have made up with everybody including his once bone man Biggie. I feel this deep in my bones, the One Nation project would have built bridges to salvation. Miss you Pac everyday!
Great channel

Nice reference. Whatever happened to the EEEmmmmCCCcceeeee...
That shit is not the best 😂😂😂 it’s a ballerina acting gangster when he was a native tongue rapper before being a fake gangster lol man first albums didn’t go nowhere only until he put on a gangster act and non body in nyc took him serious he got shot 5 times for acting G and raped in jail .. can’t be talking like pac used too with no consequences even the cali dudes say he had a big mouth lol don’t praise a loud mouth
Whats the song playing in the background ????
Where can I get those pics framed in the back round ?
That joint The Art of Getting Jumped has a new meaning to me after watching this
Also not to be forgotten: De La Soul was one of the 1st groups / rappers that was Not involved directly in the beef to speak up and give their opinion on Pac + deathrow east / west. And it was not favorable, they did in fact take a shot in the magazine.. source or vibe can't recall.
Good info. Salute....1~Luv
There was a talent show in the late 80s in Oakland California and De La Soul attended the show Tupac performed at the show and they had a chance to sign him but they didn't a few years later he was signed by Digital Underground De La Soul had the chance to sign one of the greatest rappers of all time
PAC a beast lol not one rapper today is even close . Why cuz he kept it honest with his fans and never lost himself . How everybody has from his time to now . Truly a real dude
lmao he was a rapper, stop talking about him like he malcomn x or something ,he was just a rapper
he was much more than rapper. So much ahead of his time it's incredible.
Plenty of them
+FatherBud but non with the same power in their music . Name me another artist with music as strong
I can tell. That's why their discography is full of classics and they're household names. ...
Very informative n insightful, got my sub!!
Any rapper will say he love Pac. Since he is the peoples champ and god like figure in projects worldwide.
nah
Steffen Flindt talk is cheap
Just found this channel love the breakdown your insights and knowledge of hip hop is awesome keep up the show
Thank you, Darneil!
I heard that Larry holmes line was directed at kool g rap.
It was.
Rico Salvaje lol
Naw
I was 14 I think when pot holes in my lawn came out. I think I was the only one listening to that shit in b'ham in 88. I was on everything back then, went to N.W.A concerts Public Enemy, and who ever else came through.I say this because I didn't know till literally just now that was a De La Soul dis. Don't it sound like the entire verse "Larry Holmes reference was about Nas? But all the years (I still got that album in my phone) I never knew. I just listened to agaisnt all odds the other day. You learn something new every day.😁 Thanks homie.
I wanna see a compilation of Justin just saying "Let's break it down," "Yeezus!" and "Greatest of all time!"
That's a great point. Too many strikes.
No true, Tupac and Nas squashed there beef. And they was suppose to meet up and talk again. But Pac died in Vegas.
InYaGirlOvaries Nothing what you said gives us any valuable information about Pac collaborating COLLABORATING with east coast artists. Oh and Nas and Pac didn't had "beef" like that
Look at his last interview where he talks about deathrow east and how was playing chess??? He didn't look paranoid to me??
whats with One Nation and Bootcamp Click?
De La Soul just came out with another Brilliant album and they have always been true to who they are.Pac first was in a arts academy and studied acting with Jada Smith and then was making joke rap for digital underground, then came out and decided to be a poet and was nice with the pen and the story telling. But was he a real gangster or just doing gangster rap.De La has always been a NYC rap group you only say what is real.
🙌
That's a quality assessment. I think Pac's always been a revolutionary, regardless of how it was presented as he evolved.
7thvenom Listen to the original "R U Still down" track from 2pac (not the one with Jon B). Before he went more commercial with AEOM and before he released DK7.
This is a more true reflection of the person and artist he was and who he was becoming.
