Happiness comes from within. That’s what I got from it. I hope the main character acts on it, he seems sweet, and I’m rooting for him haha. Maybe it’s a sequel idea! Well done!

I feel like he was like "Heck, if a blind man can be so happy when his life is so hard compared to other people, why can't I be like that," and that really caused him to be a little more positive about his life because he just thought about how good he has it compared to the blind man. I really like this video.

@@parablemovies Your delivery left room for this type of interpretation. It's not far fetched to interpret that this way, but the fact that you can't see how that's even a possibility makes you look tone def. Next time you should run your script by someone and get feedback on how it translates before you make it! I'm available for hire as a consultant for that purpose! :-)
@@thirdeyeasmr1921 I disagree to a degree, although I did find your first comment amusing, lol. The main character was clearly content because he saw that a blind man could find happiness despite their setbacks, so why couldn't he. If the main character thought that he should be happy because atleast "[he's] not a blind Black man" the director of this short film would have showed the blind man being at a low, where the main character draws contentment from. And yes, lol, I realize I'm writing this 2 years late. And I also find it amusing that you plugged in your services WITH your criticism.

What a coincidence. I came to the same conclusion......... SORT OF. I didn’t think about the race part. I DID think the........ “At lease I’m not blind” part. I did kind of get that “Oh man........ THAT came off wrong....... at least I hope it did!” It made me uncomfortable the way he looked, thought then smiled. The smile came of like........
“Ha at least my life doesn’t suck as bad as this dudes! His life must SUCK! *internally* Ha ha ha ha ha”
👆🏻I don’t think this. This is what I interpreted from the body language at the end. I KNOW that isn’t what they intended so I’m not trying to be over critical. I’m just giving my thoughts on it. It was a great film. One other thing that wasn’t a big deal but I thought was kind of funny. The fact that he kept the turtle in a box it entire life. As someone who has lived in a house with 3 red-eared sliders (turtles) I was talking to my phone like......
“Come on man! That turtle doesn’t want to live it’s life in a shoe box. Give it somewhere to move around, get some fresher air and be able to see what’s going on around it. It needs sun.”
Again not trying to be over critical because I know....... it’s a film so there wasn’t actually a turtle living in a shoe box for a long time. I’m sure there wasn’t even a turtle there. It was just a prop to help move the story along without bringing a real living creature into the mix. GREAT IDEA. A simple box and acting brought a major emotional plot device into the story. Very well done boys! 👏🏻😁

I didn't realise this was Australian until I heard the turtles accent.
I thought he was gonna bring home the blind guy to say that caring for each other brings happiness back :P

You had every opportunity to use “Monday, Monday” by the Mamas and the Papas
I see two things,
1st a cycle, life is full of cycles, we have a saying in my country "Life is a wheel, it turns and turns, one day you are up, another day you are down."
2nd happiness is a choice, you chose to be happy or you chose to be sad, together with the previous concept, once the wheel is down you can chose to complain or to face the problem and be better and climb quickly with the wheel to the "up" position.
He ends going to the office but smiling and choosing to be happy ;-) he learned the lesson
I would add, if you don't like something CHANGE IT, doing the same thing expecting different result is silly
Also...before changing the outside, change yourself and everything around you will change ;-)

I have a pet turtle that I love.. I do not get keeping him in a box.. gotta get a proper enviroment for them! NO heating lamp or anything .. but the moral of the story.. happiness has to come from within not something else..but let's face it..if that was the case ..we could live in a cave a lone and be just fine.. which most of us wouldn't be fine because we are social creatures .. no shame in needing someone or something or even wanting them to be happy.

Amazing movie! Congrats! It sends message on many levels and I will just highlight some:
1. same things every day can make you both - happy and sad. So it's not the point in situations/things
2. don't attach your happiness feeling someone ore something cause it's matter of time when that will make you unhappy
3. example of the others can temporary give you satisfaction
4. life consists of happy and sad moments. Period. There is nothing to be fixed, or hacked about it.
Mood line down there plays exceptional roll in the movie to show you the obvious.

Always remember we must repent of our sins (sin is transgression The Law Of Yahuah The Father in Heaven. The Law are The Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy). We must repent of our sins and Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that we can be forgiven of our sins!

So sad to keep a wild animal in a box just because some human is depressed. This movie unfortunately will make uninformed people think its a cool idea to keep a turtle as a 'pet.' Pure animal abuse.
