Kymco Xciting 500 Throttle Body removal and clean

While i am waiting for parts i decided to look at the throttle body. Turns out it was super clean and makes me wonder what else could be the erratic idle i have going in the bike. Unfortunately the parts for the fuel injector have not come in yet.

Motard...Cleaning the fuel-injector is a good place to start.I dont know what it would take
to check valve clearances.Hope your part comes soon..!

I have one of these and it has developed a problem with the fuel pump not priming when the key is turned on. I can click the kill switch back and forth a few times and will usually prime as it's supposed to. Have you experienced any thing like this or know what can be done to fix the problem?

@@motardsquid What was the initial problem? Idle rev drops? What was the solution for the problem?
