This video and song was dedicated to his dad that passed away last year I believe. That’s the end picture. Their song Crooked Soul is my other favorite song by them, I’m sure you will like it, I’ve seen enough of your reactions to say that confidently lol.
First heard their cover of Hello... this track though? BANGER!!! Especially when it transitions to the screams. He has a subtle Noah from Bad Omens vibe to them.
Wanna thank you for your short for this video, came up in my recommended and I’ve listened to this nonstop since then. Great riffs and drums, lyrics are amazing, and it just hits so well
Bad Omens, Dayseeker, Wage War, have been my top 3 artist for the bester part of 4 or so months. Incredible musicians in every aspect, Wage War seems to be fairly underground relative to Dayseeker and Bad Omens, a great song by them thats part of their more ‘intermediate’ sound is Circle The Drain, other than that The River and Stitch are two incredibly heavy songs that are certainly an acquired taste for some but worth checking out!
damn, why is no one talking about the first two explosive Dayseeker's albums? the first is generally banger after banger. all albums are gorgeous. but my favourite is «What it means to be defeated». cool unique sound, strong lyrics and much more earthquaking and headshaking breakdowns. forever will be my favourite
This band has such a range. It’s hard to pick out just a few songs but: Incinerate - anger and fury with intense metal bars from their debut album Never See The Sunrise - dealing with loss of a child mixed with existential crisis in a beautiful mix of anger and sadness Counterpart, or Already Numb - slower songs with sweet clean vocals on relationship complications Sleeptalk - more modern electronic ambient vibe mixed with metalcore (their biggest song - closer to this song) Sleep In the Sea Pt. II, or Vultures - incredible mix of intense aggressiveness and clean vocal bridges Not to mention their “reimagined” and acoustic versions of about a dozen of their hard songs. And everything in between (even cover of R&B pop in Versace On The Floor). I’ll have to stop here but there is so much to check out by them.
Crooked soul is a good one. Burial plot is another great one. And their side project hurtwave has some amazing 80s retro wave kinda vibes. Would suggest black and blue or fever dream from Hurtwave
I dont know this band but i like it ! This song sounds amazing good and i wanna hear more ! Greatings and love from germany ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
You have to listen to “what it means to be deafeted”. You’ll hear some real spicy stuff from Rory (Singer). Just found your channel and I love the reactions so far. Dayseeker is fantastic. They have a new album coming out on November 4th I believe.
Damn! Never heard of this one and it's a good one! Thanks for this! You should check out Faster than Light by Unleash the Archers for another real banger!
Every band like dayseeker needs to be recognized for their talent in the music industry
The whole sleep talk album is incredible. Also, Rory's (lead singer) side project Hurtwave is sweet as well

I just sit here and watch reaction videos to Dayseeker so that I can somewhat feel like I'm watching again for the first time too.
