So I had an Easy Bake Oven when they first came out a very long time ago. I loved it and it was my entry-way to baking. They had premade cake mixes which turned out well and were very tasty, at least to my very young palate. My oven was square and the heat came from light bulbs as I remember. This was fun to watch.

How nostalgic! I loved that you were able to make an actual biscuit that looked appetizing! I was born in 87 and had an easy bake oven in the 90's. Mine looked like a microwave and it was pink and white. I'd always get the little pan stuck in it and couldn't get it out without a lot of trouble haha. Sadly I never managed to bake anything. Not surprising though since the one I had used light bulbs to "bake" the food lol.

I had an easy bake oven when I was little and you had to slide it in the side. I was born in 83 so yeah, that was a long time ago. 🤣
My sister is 10 years older than me and she helped me bake cakes all day long after Christmas. We sat around eating mini cakes all day. Lol

I don't remember what she made, I think it was a cake made from a mix that came with it. But whatever it was, I remember it being disgusting, even for my 12 year old palate.

I never had an EasyBake Oven...my mom kept me in the kitchen with her from the age of 6.....to stop me from taking the TV apart and/or sticking a fork in an electric outlet!!! I was born in 1951, FYI, and I know TMI....I'm old and still learning...love you two kids...J

Lol. That design sucks. I’m surprised anyone buys them anymore. But at least if a kid learns to cook on that, everything will seem easy once they graduate to regular appliances.
