Update: We have removed our Eat Nowadays review from this video as we included a product that is not available from the brand. Their nuggets are not gluten-free.
I understand, there are plenty here but none that i can eat because i have to be gluten free. Nuggs made theirs gluten free until the 2.0 version. I am dtill sad about that. They are online and in walmart.
I have been gluten free for almost 20 years because I have Celiac disease and last year around this time I had to go vegan because of health issues. You guys saved me! I was trying to figure out what to eat, how to get enough protein, etc... when I found your channel. I love watching and learning. You're both adorable!
Thanks for this review, that was a lot of nuggets! Our new favorite is the Raised and Rooted nuggets, and I think the Impossible ones are also great. Will look forward to trying your other favs.
LOVE that you put the price per nugget! I love the Whole Foods nuggets. They're cheap and yummy. Also love Gardein 7-Grain tenders, but it's gotten increasingly expensive and less often on sale.
I think we think alike. I go by taste AND price per nugget. I’m cheap. The impossible nuggets come like 20 to a bag and at my local Walmart they are $6.48 so about $.32 each and I’m ok with that. Simulate Nuggs come 16 to a box for $4.98 or $.31 each so right on par.
I absolutely love the impossible nuggets. Out of all the nuggets I've tried they are the best to me. I really want to try the beyond. Hopefully they make their way to AZ soon.
@@ashleygranado6385 We've spotted them at the 35th & Southern location but ended up buying from 59th & Bell. When Impossible hit the shelves, we noticed Walmart on 35th didn't stock them for long...so that may be the case with Beyond. Good luck!
I've been eating the Gardein tenders and they are amazing. I don't honestly know how anything could be better but I just bought the new Impossible nuggets and I'm eager to compare them to Gardein.
I just tried their mandarin nuggets. It literally taste like normal chicken nuggets and I’m not vegetarian or vegan. I would definitely recommend these, they taste exactly like regular frozen nuggets.
You know which one you two missed? (Which seems impossible, I know, considering how many you guys tested! lol) The Raised & Rooted ones! They are one of the best ones I've ever tried. But here's the twist... they USED TO not be vegan! They had egg (but were vegetarian). However, the company recently RE-DID them (taking out the egg & adding other vegan ingredients) and now they're vegan! I never tried them before they were vegan so I don't know how they tasted. But I love the way they taste now... they're honestly what I remember McDonald's nuggets tasting like! So if you guys can stomach another chicken nugget after all the testing you did, try those next!
Loved this video! These taste tests are so helpful. The Beyond Meat tenders are sold at Walmart so definitely be on the lookout. Keep up the great work guys!
Just found you guys, subscribed as I liked the thorough reiews ... plus am happy to find some videos from Pacific NW folks. Also saw a fast food chicken review ... good job there too.
I ate them so much that I got sick of them lol. But yes they were amazing!! Literally the smell makes me gag now. I was so obsessed that I ate them with every meal/every day.
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!! I've been waiting so long for a "comprehensive" chicken nugget review. You two are the greatest.. P.s. My favorite has been the Alpha brand. Costco used to carry their chicken patties, but dropped them for some reason....so I've been searching for alternatives. thanks again.
Thank you so much for doing this! As a new vegan, I really don't want to waste my money on mock items and not like them, especially since many can be pricy (at least compared to whole, unprocessed vegan food!) It was also wonderful that you included the price per chicken nugget. :)
I love that they do reviews. It really helps. The channel Make it Dairy Free does a ton of reviews too. It definitely helps me know what to avoid and what to invest in.
For future combo-products taste test videos, I recommend cleansing your palate between taste tests which will help to reset your taste buds. Thus, you can use any of the following to cleanse your palate: water, lemon water, green tea, apple, celery, and ginger. Love this video and please do keep them coming!!!! 👍🏾👏🏾🙌🏾
Watched the taste test review video despite not having all the brands in the UK, just because I am nosey about what other vegans eat. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕💕 Chris & Jasmine.
I finally got my hand on the Gardein Ultimate nuggets and I LOVE them, keeping in mind that they're more like popcorn chicken than nuggets. As for actual nuggets, *Alpha* is probably still my favorite. When it comes to Impossible, I have to cook them for longer and at a higher temperature (425-450) -- otherwise, they just taste like Incogmeato, which isn't that great. IMO, Field Roast is too thin and gravel-y.
Lots of great nuggets! Impossible has become my fave, but I also like Alpha, incogmeato (Mickey shaped) Gardein Ultimate & Raised & Rooted. And I’ve been using Daring chicken (original) and I just bought the Cajun style but haven’t tried yet.
I find most Veggie nuggets to taste like breaded breading. Very bready. Raised and Rooted veggie nuggets on the other hand tastes great. Put them together with Ore'Ida's Extra Crispy Fast Food fries and some sauces and it's like taking a trip to McDonald's.
Always look forward to your videos! Love the variety of fast food/restaurant options, what you eat in a day, recipes, and video reviews like this one! Love watching the two of you and all the content you share 🤍
I'm allergic to both soy and wheat, so store bought frozen vegan chicken nuggets are never an option... Instead I blend quinoa with chickpeas, season, then roll in crushed cornflakes, make into a patty shape, and deep fry. So good!
@@hommefataltaemin I'm used to it now, was diagnosed over a decade ago and it's worth it to feel so much better. I never have bloating, gas or stomach pain anymore. I never realized how much pain I was in until I eliminated it!
Impossible & Yummy are my top two. I also was really impressed with the Simulate Nuggs (not the spicy one though, too dry). Oh and a surprisingly good nugget is the Boca Nuggets. I found them at Whole Foods. The 365 nuggets are very good too.
Your reaction to the Boca. Lol. Bless my little heart. It's the most accessible one to me and so that's what I buy. Can't wait till i get to try some of your higher ranked nuggs.
Totally agree, the garden 7 grain tenders are better than their nuggets and you have to bake them as they don’t cook nor microwave very well. My fave would have to be morningstar’s chik’n nuggets, especially since they microwave well since I don’t feel like baking very often. I feel like you also get a good amount for the price.
I just tried the Stimulate brand dino "chicken" nuggets and was really impressed. I had them side by side with the Gardein Ultimate version and preferred them by far. Before I tried them the Whole Foods 365 were my top choice. They are available at Walmart and are a decent price too.
it's so cool to see so many different kinds of nuggets! the only vegan nuggets in my area really are the boca ones and i have to air fry them and make a sauce for them to taste anywhere near decent. i can't wait to try the beyond tenders when they're more available!

Thanks for checking these out for us! I love the Quorn ones but I will need to try the 365 brand and the Impossible/Beyond once I can find them. I did not like Nuggs either.

Try Raised and Rooted. The ones in the store are okay. But Getgo, an area convenience store has them but they taste so much better. Like they're seasoned so much better.
Quorn vegan meatless Buffalo dippers are so good!!!! I’ve tried impossible, and the seven grained tenders amongst a few others but the Buffalo dippers have a really nice flavored breading that’s not too overpowered by the buffalo. The insides have a different texture then most nuggets but it’s a texture I prefer than some of the spongier more meat textured alternatives. The ingredients list is also nice prettt clean and doesn’t make me feel gross after. Give those a try if you can!

I bought the beyond chicken strips and baked them. When they first come out of the over they have a weird texture I don't like even though the flavor is good. Once they cool down they are fine but I won't buy them again. Perhaps they taste better fried. I prefer the impossible nuggets but they are so expensive in my area.
Idk but ...I'm happy to NOT see the brand Raised&rooted in here because they're by Tyson foods (notoriously known for all their chicken abuse) and I get how some people think it's a good thing, but honestly the way I see it is they just want vegans money, if these companies really cared then they should just go vegan 200% of the way. Anyways, I like all these nugget reviews!
Loved the review for my teen kids who really miss nuggets. And for one teen I'm still trying to transition to vegan. Although, I personally would love a nugget snack once in awhile but ... unfortunately I have a sever wheat allergy (anaphalaxic) so I have not found any that are free of wheat. On that note, I also want to say thank you for having some videos that include vegan meals that are prepared GF to give me more meal ideas. When I found out about my wheat allergy, I was shocked at how many foods, drinks, personal hygiene products, etc., actually have wheat and gluten in them. Hopeful that eventually wheat free products will be an alternative for all things that have it in them. A girl can wish...right. 😄😁🤗
idk where you live but in ON, Canada the gardein bags look different for the nuggets, so maybe the formula is different where you are. the tenders are still better though!
Idk why but ingocmeato products tend to be less flavorful than their less expensive big brother Morningstar. Example the incogmeato breakfast corn dog have like half the flavor the regular Morningstar corn dogs regardless of using appropriate condiments for each

I loved those Beyond chicken strips 🤷♀️ Just picked up the Daring grilled nug to try in a salad. 🤞
Have you tried the Earth Grown tenders at Aldi? They are the only ones I’ve tried so far. I like them air fried and topped on my salad 🥗😊
Totally agree about 365 and Yummy. Gardein Ultimate breading is good, but the inside texture and taste are kind of yuck to me.
Love this, Thank you!
They sale the beyond chicken strips at target i got them in NY did try them yet im not vegan but still eat vegan foods
Idk why but ingocmeato products tend to be less flavorful than their less expensive big brother Morningstar. Example the incogmeato breakfast corn dog have like half the flavor the regular Morningstar corn dogs regardless of using appropriate condiments for each
Impossible nuggets are the absolute best! Believe me, I’ve tried them all!!!!
