- In today’s video we’ve got a little mish mash vlog where I clean and decorate the house and show you some of the little Christmassy trips we’ve been on this month. I hope you enjoy!
I think you are one of the only creators that I automatically watch everything you upload. The cleaning content is certainly why I started watching, but just the vibe of your channel brings me such joy every time I tune in. Thanks again for being you and sharing your life with the Internet ❤

You’re just a delight, I find myself striving to have your attitude, your ‘in the now’ way of living, the constant gratitude and gratefulness. It is so wonderfully refreshing, you should be proud of that attitude. It’s hard as a mom to achieve sometimes, so I love your reminders to try to do those things

It’s been a really rough few days (house flooded again yesterday) and for me, I really dislike Christmas (childhood traumas) and this year it’ll be the first without both my parents and my best friend and I’m dreading it. I want to thank you Remi for 24m:45s of joy. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It’s evident you’ve put a heck of a lot of thought, time and effort and it was lovely to see your trips and lovely places you’ve visited. Thank you for being my “escape” today. I too have had a lot of trauma in my life. I lost both parents, my brother and others I loved too. I am so sorry for what you went through. If there is anything I can say to make you smile and feel happy is, YOU are valued and you are special. Do things that make you happy and pamper yourself. If you see something you like, Buy it for yourself or treat yourself to a nice meal. God Bless.
As Remi did with her boyfriend 2 years ago with the family "PJ" photo, you could start your own, new traditions now. I do not know if you have a partner or children, but if alone, you could start traditions outside of the home, serving Christmas meal at the soup kitchen, or some group or charity you want to be involved in, to not be alone and feel the Christmas joy or being around people! It's amazing how helping others takes you outside of yourself, being "other-centered".
My dear I hope you were able to use some of these wonderful ideas. If not I am a single mum with two special needs teens and this Christmas was our first Christmas in our own home in 2 years. We were homeless and living in our van cause they wanted to split my son away from me and his sis regardless of his special needs. The point is things get better. I wanted to scream, did a lot of crying but I pulled my big girl pants up and thought of everything but myself to stay focused on getting us a home. It is a camper that has many issues. But it's ours and I work on problems as I can working two jobs which I am blessed one let's me bring my semi nonverbal autistic kid with me. Door dashing. I have a huge learning curve but making enough to keep food in our home, gas in my auto and my family together. We are blessed and it has not been easy but I refuse to give up. If you don't give up, this too, will pass. Much love and good thoughts your way.

I completely agree with you about the collective sadness that's come over us all since 2020. It is real! It seems no one has come out unscathed in one form or another from the pandemic & then this inflation has hit us all across the board - yet another type of Pandemic! But we look for the small graces & happy moments...and children def bring those happy moments so much of the time - just by existing! My daughter works with 2 year olds & when she is struggling - even with them being a bit much - there will always be one of those littles that does something so hysterical or sweet w/out having any idea that they have put a smile on her face or a laugh in her belly! And then she shares it with me & I get to have that joy as well! Remi - your art on the window is just joyous & lovely!! Tip for the Xmas lights Remi , when putting away for next year , wrap them around a long cylindrical type thing such as the insert of tin foil or clingfilm , also I turn my lights on when doing the tree so you can get a better look how they are hanging ❤ absolutely brilliant vlog I kept checking to see how many minutes were left .. didn't want it to end 😂

Hi, Remi, I am so impressed that even with all the work a mum has to do, you still find the time to do such wonderful artwork. In Australia we have very hot Christmases and as I was originally born in London so I found that strange when I first came out here. Didn't worry about a tree as I needed the space for the gifts but I did throw a few decorations around. Thanks, Remi, I hope you and your family have a great Christmas and wonderful New Year as it looks like you guys are already having a lot of fun together! xxx

True my mum always made Christmas time the best every year we always got the same presents god love her she loved what she shared with us she decorated with pine cones tinsel and Christmas Bush , unfortunately this Christmas Day she died and now that joy and love is lost in a memory only so broken 💔our family but she will always be celebrated and we are thankful 🙏🏻she was our mum xxx rip mum

Hello Everyone! Those glass decorations were the BEST I have seen and really the first time I've seen it. You did a fantastic job!🎀 I keep anti-bacterial wipes by the door to clean off the bottom of my shoes every time I go out! So it's o.k. to walk around the house with shoes but only if you have sanitized them! Love the PJ photos ... very lovely tradition. Keep your family close and loved...that is your best gift from birth to death! 💖

This year we’re watching all the Harry Potter movies throughout the month. I’d never seen them but I’ve heard that’s a common movie franchise to watch during Christmas. Tonight we all sat in our matching pajamas (including the dog) and watched the first movie :)

Oh my gosh, I feel the exact same way about Polar Express. Always have felt that way, even when my boys were little and they liked it. I’m so glad to know somebody else feels the same way because it feels like everybody else on Earth thinks Polar Express is great.

I feel the same about "The Polar Express"; I don't know why but it hit me in an unusual, slightly unpleasant way and I couldn't even finish watching it. I thought that was kind of strange for an animated Christmas movie 🤔.
"It's A Wonderful Life" really is a great movie and I'm always excited to see the original animated versions of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer", "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". Probably because I saw them back when they first premiered and there was no such thing as VHS or DVD copies. Seeing those gives me the warm fuzzies of sweet childhood memories. My Mom did the same as yours (and YOU for your boys) in creating a lovely home, especially at the holidays.
Don't change anything about how you create your content; it is truly wonderful.

What beautiful artwork Remi! You are amazing. I agreed 100% when you said in a previous video that you liked hyper realism until cameras got better and better and could do it in a few seconds. I have gotten away from my art lately as well and I need to get back to it. I am also trying to look for magic in the mundane moments these days. My favorite Christmas movie is Frosty the Snowman. It is so nice that your family gets together each year. We used to as well, but drama has gotten in the way. As I pray for my family to heal God has sent me UA-cam friends and a wonderful church family. You are right we can only worry about what we have control over. It is nice to know I am not alone.

Hello Remi, please don’t use newspaper for your windows, my father in law did it for years and it left scratches on is windows. I love you and your little family, Merry Christmas to the four of you and Mushroom from the Netherlands.
A long, long time ago cleaning windows with newspapers was the only way to do it. And boy did it work well!However the ink they use is different now and newspapers no longer cleans windows beautifully, it simply smears the panes and leaves little scratches on the glass which looks awful

This is super sweet, I hope I'll be able to come up with something that will make Christmas magical for my daughter. We're so pragmatic together with my husband, it's really hard 😅
For a tree skirt I've been using a fluffy white throw plaid that I have. For that month it just lives under the Christmas tree :) looks very cozy and the presents really stand out against it.

What a fun way to decorate a space without adding clutter or decorations that might be torn down by the boys or Mushroom. Your snowflakes were so cute...I would struggle so much to do that! lol
I love the Polar Express movie and I’ll tell you why! When my oldest daughter was the only child we had she wouldn’t sit and watch tv. When she was two years old her and I snuggled on the couch together and watched the Polar Express. It was the first movie she sat all the way through and watched beginning to end. Shes 18 years old now and the oldest of three kids. But every time I see that movie I remember laying and watching it with her when she was a toddler and how magical the movie seemed. To me it embodied the Christmas spirit. ❤
