I am a fan of the previous version of this monitor. So much so that when I was relocating, I bought it. Now I am in Serbia and I couldn't find the old version at a reasonable price, but I found this one. What can I say, the new one has both pros and cons. I won't focus on purely technical aspects like "the first one has 144 Hz, the second one has 180 Hz", but I will tell you about my experience of using it. First of all, I am a programmer, so I spend a lot of time in front of the monitor. I often relax in front of it (games - studying - surfing the Internet, etc.). Therefore, I could easily spend 12-14 hours a day in front of the monitor, almost every day. In the previous version, my eyes did not get tired at all, here there is strain in the eyes, I have to take breaks much more often. In the previous version, the viewing angles were better, here you reach for the edge of the table for some reason, look at the monitor and already see strong color distortions. I don't remember this in the previous monitor. This monitor seems to glare more than its predecessor. You need to sit so that there is no window opposite, or move it a little to the side so that you can see. The colors are +- the same. Anyway, I use the BetterDisplay utility, so I fix everything I don't like. What I like is the new joystick for controlling the settings, in the old one manual switching was not very good (but there was an automatic switching by the input signal). At the same time, the only thing is that I worry about its durability. Since there is no auto mode (or I did not figure out how to turn it on), I have to switch from my personal laptop to my work laptop and back quite often. I like that the matrix itself is faster in the new one and the same switching happens faster and smoother. I did not get any wow effect from 180 Hz. In principle, I do not feel a difference above 100 Hz. But in the previous monitor at some hertz you could catch flickering (for example at 120 hertz), here at any hertz everything is ok. In the past there was a more convenient system for hiding wires, the stand seemed to be more expensive. But this stand takes up less space. Overall, I would say that due to eye fatigue I would prefer the previous version, although otherwise it is +/- the same monitor and I like it.
Last week i buy this monitor to replace old mi144hz for eye fatigue i not have this problem with new one, i think you need lower brightness new one more than old model
I bought this monitor a couple of weeks ago, and I'm using it with my MacBook with an M1 chip, taking advantage of its native resolution through HDMI connected to a USB-C hub. I previously had a 24" Dell with a 1920x1080 resolution, but it felt too small in terms of screen real estate. That's why I decided to invest in a larger monitor with a higher resolution that wouldn't break the bank, and I ended up choosing this one. Honestly, it was an exponential leap in terms of quality and screen space. Everything looks perfect, the brightness is more than enough for what I need, and the color definition is quite good. Of course, it doesn't match the quality of an Apple monitor or higher-end models, but for the price, it's excellent. There are just two things that would make it better: if it had a built-in USB hub (which is really needed) and if the curvature were a bit less pronounced (I'd prefer 1800R instead of the 1500R it comes with), though the latter is just a personal preference.
@JUVARBS nope it is as good as new. I am gonna move out to a new appartement tho so I am kinda scared that it's gonna get damaged I'll be taking it with me in the car lol

Great review. I just got the monitor! The colors are really cool, and I can't even see the contrast shift as much. Personally, the only con of this monitor is the display cable being display port to display port. Had to order a HDMI cable online.
Nice review. I just bought this monitor and I noticed the ghosting effect you are talking about. So far, I only see them in black colors but strangely, only if this jet black color is surrounded by dark shades of grey and blue, but not for other colors. Probably needs more testing. I'm not a pro in these kind of things so I can't reallly explain what this means or why this happens. I can somehow lessen this ghosting if I increase the "dark scene boost" amount but it made the black colors brighter so it might not be the best for most people. Haven't seen it in games yet, only when I'm browsing the internet.

I dont like the bezels😐
👍🏼
Взех го днес за 499 лв. от eMag. Съвсем не е най-добрият монитор, но за тия пари май нищо не може да го бие в момента.
Топ цена! Честито
Does it have a black smearing issue that is a common issue with VA panels?
If it had then how bad is it
@@Supagornsri Probably really bad, I had a Koorui 34" UW and it was TRASH, then I bought the BenQ Mobiuz EX3410R (same 34" ultrawide curve) and it's close to perfect, but of course 499€
@@SweetFlexZ why would you say probably pretty trash if you never tried it?
@@fico1557 Because it's a VA cheap panel?????? Have you even read my comment?
@@SweetFlexZ i have read it, why are you so excited, i just asked you a question, and you never mention a 'ta' panel anywhere, also the monitors that you mentioned both have a va panel and the same curvature, but noticably different image quality (according to you) suggesting that the brand quality is pretty importan in similar monitors and xiaomi is a pretty well respected brand, so i will ask you again, why would you say probably pretty trash if you never tried it?
Useless, just waste of time.

Don't buy this piece of junk. I bought it and return in less than 24 hours. After half a day's usage and it starts to power off by itself every 5 to 10 mins. Total waste if money, not worth the time.
This is weird! Could be a power supply issue
@@TechMishka it probably is, but i suspect its either a lousy power adapter or a cheap onboard incoming power regulator module.
@@Z3R0-CoR3 Based on a sample size of 1, seems pretty unfair comment
