Not for nothing, but some of those jobs are a solid way to raise a family with minimal debt. I work in plumbing and write fiction in my spare time. Just saying that was decent dad advice.
love her voice!
yeah me too , i dont know what is called this type of voice but i always love this
@@RED01SEA "Husky" works. Maybe also "sandpapery" or "pleasantly raspy" . . .
@@WaitingtoHit love it , i dont know why but i love this , its lika a character on it self
She’s super cool, down to earth! Looking forward to your future projects Awkwafina! ❤️
I would’ve liked a bit more context here
“Mediocre Hanging Fruit.” Hey, Awkwafina’s dad: your daughter turns out to be way, way better than merely mediocre. You should really be asking HER for career advice, y’know?!?
Hollywood is not a stable career unless you make it to a certain level.
She chose the word "mediocre", as opposed to medicine or law requiring tons of school and super grades. I'm guessing her dad was thinking things like "stable job", and "reliable income".
that thumbnail tho
Where does she get the husky voice? Cigarettes and vodka?
I wonder whether this interview touches on the fact that her name is a homophone for the name of a popular brand of bottled water. I also wonder if there is an as yet undiscovered talented person somewhere with a name like "Day-ZAH-nee".
Love her so much!!!
Would pay for full interviews here, its so stupid to have a separate web page to see full interviews.
Aren't the full interviews still available on Netflix?
@@DrQuizzler only a very limited selection of them. No where near the whole catalog for as far as I remember, not currently subscribed.
Well paying jobs that are secure with great benefits and probably pensions. Sound advice I think.
wow
The real question is: Is she ever going to show us so we can judge for ourselves? Will it live up to the hype?
so patronising to all the people who work 9 to 5. let alone the increasing number of unemployed people who would like to.
I'm sorry, but I can't wrap my mind around the fact that her name is a bottle of water.
well its a fake name
@@eskanda3434 No shit, Sherlock.
I can't wrap my mind around the fact that she's famous. She is painfully unfunny.
