Vintage Tama Birch Snare Comparison | Artwood vs. Superstar

This is just a fun video comparing two birch Tama 6.5x14" snare drums from the past. First up is a cherry wine Artwood 8-Ply, 9mm snare made in the mid '90s. This one has Sonor Hella die-cast hoops. The second snare is a vintage Superstar 6-ply, 9mm shell with die-cast hoops and an internal muffler. Neither tuning matches, the Artwood has a coated emperor while the Superstar has a coated Ambassador. We only had a few minutes to shoot this, and we might go in-depth in the future. Feel free to enjoy it for what it is. The last clip says "muffler on" for too long, but you can physically see when it gets activated for reference.
