I made my Swancho with merino gold. LOVE. Used Benito for my guchy green cardigan. Now knitting cardigan with Lorena bamboo in royal 💙 color. Love. I'm thinking of Saver to try. I have dog sweater in mind. Just to test the saver.
Hi Krista, I bought a few yarns to try from ice yarns and was disappointed with the thickness of some of them. I knit baby clothes with 4.5 mm needles so I bought the ones that were for those needles... well the yarn, too thin. So I will use it to crochet something with. But, I also got some beautiful yarns like the Norse alpaca, dreamy. Will be making my alpaca rompers out of that instead of paying $11 a ball for alpaca here in Australia. Also love the silk cotton and silk merino. Poppy from Australia.xx

I am a knitter but watch you for the yarn information at ICE YARNS. I just haven't known what to order since for me there is not enough info with American weights and needle size and etc. I just wish they would put required needle size and weight size of the yarns. Shipping costs have always baffled me. So this was immensely helpful. I hope you to continue to review yarns at ICE. this is so helpful for people out there like me that avoid shopping here because it is too confusing.
So far I've enjoyed knitting/crocheting with WORSTED 50 (very few colors though) It washes and dries up like a dream - drapey and soft. The other yarn I've had fun with and made quick cowls out of is BOUCLE' WOOL WORSTED - I'm not a novelty yarn buyer typically - BUT this works up like those full, bulky looking cowls that are so popular - WITHOUT the weight. It is like air - and warm. Perfect for those of us who have problems with something heavy pushing on the back of their necks. And yes, SAVER 100 - making the denim poncho that Christa has out.

Perfect! I usually use Baby summer instead of alara..could you make a Video about the differences (like you did with favourite and saver)? Think it is mostly the same except thickness..isn't it??
My favorite is still favorite. xD And Magic light and rainbow and pastell cotton, for things like toys and kitchen crochet i love the natural cotton cakes (well, you can make anything out of it, it softens up when washed) and for delicate shawls i love the cotton fine cakes! For me, even with the shipping it is always a better deal than buying anywhere else.
I ordered the cotton bamboo on Tuesday sale when I got it was was shocked! I just spent 5.99 on 1 coboo smh and the ice yarn is so much better! Live and learn!

Great video. Thanks. Love ice yarn. Never had anything I didn't like from them. At the moment working with aran cakes, making a textured poncho and It's fab. One advise would be to always order a bit more than just you need as they tend to get out of stock for a long time. X

I live in the UK and for what I have ordered the shipping isn’t too bad. So just have to wait and see how long it takes to arrive allowing for this horrid virus. Thank you for explaining the yarn. I have wanted to buy Ice for a couple years now. I dont have freedom to order what I want, but my son said he would get me more yarn. I cant go on my own. He is very careful with my money. (Cheep) I'm going to ask him for Ice yarn. He will probably complain about shipping. So cross your fingers. I have watched you for a few years,.now since you painted your shelves ,I think. Always love and trust you.
Try telling him that, even with shipping, it can work out CHEAPER to order from Ice than to buy at a retail store. But you do have to know what you would pay for something at least somewhat comparable. Good luck!
I have a few types of Ice - my faves that you showed here is the one like Unforgettable (haven’t ordered that yet, but want to) and Rock Star!!!! I have the pink/gold and it is gorgeous!!!! I want every color!!!

I have a few types of Ice - my faves that you showed here is the one like Unforgettable (haven’t ordered that yet, but want to) and Rock Star!!!! I have the pink/gold and it is gorgeous!!!! I want every color!!!

Krista, I have gone to Ice yarns a dozen(or more lol) times to order and get so confused trying to decide what to order and then the shipping...oh Lord...even worse! Thank you soooo much for this video!!!! You've just saved me😍now I feel like I can easily go order and know what to get and not feel like I'm gonna get ripped by ordering something I won't like or overcharged on the shipping because I didn't calculate the packaging right. You're amazing 💕
