FINALLY, a nail content creator that isn't ignoring the issue with gel allergies! Much appreciation for hopefully pushing the way to sensible and safe advice whilst still being amazingly creative. Love ya girl and, bit late with this but, congrats on the nuptials!!! 💜💜💜
So, let me start by saying, most people would not have taken the time to show how you verified, not only once, but twice, whether or not the gel was curing through the nail and I think that’s SO important, especially because there are so many new DIY’ers now days who really don’t know the ends and outs about putting products on the nails and the ramifications of doing so when you don’t have product knowledge. So, again….thank you for stressing the importance of knowing what you’re doing and not just jumping right in! Also, I’m happy to say that I’m a new Subscriber and am looking forward to all the wonderful content your channel has to offer! So, thank you and I enjoyed this video! 😉
I have this same kit as the first one you were showing (the nude French tip), except that they’re the extra short squares. I absolutely fell in love with BTArtbox soft gel nails after buying these. They are so comfortable and look amazing! I can’t wait to get their cat eye tips just like the ones you used in this video. The set you did turned out so freaking cute!! Thanks for sharing!!! 😊❤
Thank you for doing the test with the gel glue. Seen all over TikTok people talking about developing an allergy to the gel. I had these in tan and I just used glue to be safe. I have the lamp of not polish the red on but was still scared. With regular glue it lasted me two weeks🥰
I recently got these and i enjoyed them. I got the white frenchies with the darker nude for darker skin. I loved them so much. Builder gel was a must but they were beautiful and natural looking with only just a few of my little tweaks.
So cute!!!! I definitely need to learn to embrace “trust the process!” I was thinking those nails are going to look janky, but the finished product is gorgeous!!!!
I got the long black French nails & the short almond cat eye, with the light, solid nail glue and the builder gel with top coat! I cannot wait to try these! I've been doing my own nails for years but also haven't done them in months. Love how easy these seem! Subscribed!
I used acrylic to apply these nails and so far so good. I was skeptical on using the glue but I still purchased it. Going to test how long they last using acrylic instead of glue
The problem for me is honestly buying the full kit costs just as much as me going to the salon. I understand you MIGHT get 2 sets out of the nails but that’s if you nail bed is not abnormally shaped or you’re willing to snap them to fit. **I HAVE NOT TRIED THIA SYSTEM** (but have tried others) so don’t come for me. They are gorgeous in thought though. 🤩
Thank you so much for explaining this so well! I had no idea. I've been using their ready made press on nails with normal nail glue and loving it, but I do like the idea of being able to customise and make them my own. Is it possible to use the X Coat Tips as press ons? Or am I better off sticking to the pre-made styles? I saw someone in their reviews didn't have a UV lamp either, so she did the polish on the nail sets and then put them out in the sun!
C...was scared that your chrome gel might cured.....cause it was so close to the lamp...I was suffering throughout your curing the nails.these nails are fantastic and kool..🆒🆗💅👍😘🔥
So I was wondering what was wrong because I used these 3 times and a few popped off. I think they couldn’t cure completely. Even in my big lamp. So mhmmmm idk how I feel about these plus some of the sizes are janky and don’t fit properly. Great idea but I think I’ll stick to clear full cover tips. These are too risky seems like or I need a stronger lamp. Mhmmm a lot to think about here. I’ll look into getting a professional lamp . With my clear tips it’s no issue no pop off. But these are so much faster and convenient, I may have to get me a professional lamp. Mhmmm 🫤🤔

You cannot ignore what you don't know

So glad to see more nail creators talk about uncured gel issues. Love the nails.
What’s the correct wattage lamp to use then to ensure it cures correctly?

What were your tweaks?

You are a scientist! I love the way your mind works.

Wow. Thank you 🙏🏾. I didn’t know about the “must cure” and allergies. Thank you so much. Yes I’m a subscriber now. Awesome info and content. 👍🏾

Omg i love these! I wish I didn't have so many issues with nail tips fitting me, I really wanna try something like this!

The builder gel is supposed be be like a nail polish on your press on for the color would not ware off!
Stunning set. So cute 😂. Hope the move goes smoothly. You and hubby going to be so happy there ❤❤❤
As a fellow nail tech, also another problem is if the gel nails are too thick that can happen.
