Another great recovery. I saw something that ran chills down my spine. The young people in the Subaru had a very large speaker in the back that wasn’t fastened down. My 24 yr old brother and his best friend were in a car wreck and rolled the vehicle. There was a large speaker box in the back. That speaker flew up and broke the 2 front seats in half. 2 young men died that night. They would have had a chance of living if it hadn’t been for the speaker box. That speaker destroyed the inside of the car. More damage than I would ever have thought possible. My little brother and his friend were both newly married. They left behind 2 wives and one was expecting. I won’t even go into detail what was done to their bodies from that speaker box. I went on a mission for years telling people about not having those speakers fastened down.
You asked him if he's ever seen Matt's off-road recovery??no..yeah Trevor gets beat up quite a bit but he kind of just laughs it off!!! Lol you got a lot to learn little man!!!
The track Jeep is proving over and over again to be a very capable and versatile piece of equipment. It good decision on your part. You would think to manufacture would be more interested in having you promote their product on your channel since you really have demonstrated the capabilities of their product.
Love your videos but I missed you on this one. I like when you talk, joke around and explain what your doing. I have learned from you, I'll miss that. Have a great day everyone.
Heavy D just had an incident where the loop on the wrecker broke with the kinetic rope hook to it that loop went a 1/4 mile across the lake bed BUT the rope didn’t break
Between Friday and today just finished watching 3 snow recoveries , yours , Matt's ( with Paul ) and the other Casey ( with his Nodwell ) , looking like a groovy weekend .
Good job, Casey. I'm really liking (and appreciating) the addition of the camera crew. They help show a better picture of your work, while freeing you up to do that work. Keep up the great content!
The ever invincible and little to no tow hook ready Subaru's strike again! So glad they stopped before getting the 3rd rig stuck. Another excellent rescue Casey! Your backup trailer and turnaround skills never cease to amaze me Casey! also great to see Zack (sp?) and Alex along for the rescue!
Just spotted Casey and the Track Jeep on the 97 heading to Bend. Ive been subscribed for a little while now. I stay in La Pine, my work is in Bend but travel all over Central Oregon. Hope to meet you someday, hopefully not from a bad situation.
Great recovery your cameraman is very professional he’s right there where he is needed in your driving skills are great great video stay safe be warm God bless
Add to that the howl of a wolf, or the scream of a cougar. I am not too scared of being alone in the woods at night, BUT, I am aware that I am part of the food chain. I ride my quad at night in the summer when it is over 100 degrees in the day. 99% of the time I am alone too. The ace in my pocket is my pistol. I never leave home without it. Also the fact that 95% of the animals are more scared of you than you are of them. HOWEVER, there is that 5% that defy that logic. I have actually been chased by a badger. I could run faster scared than he could mad. I have always wondered how many times I have been riding in the woods, and I was being watched by a cougar. They are a typical cat, they get some place high and just watch. I am 74 years old, and I have only seen 1 cougar. But I know full well that they have seen me. We just have black bears where I ride, and they are not a problem. 100 Miles away there are Grizzly bears. I do not ride in that area. LOL
Get them some snow shoes, and that will help alot! Good videos, I've done snowy Montana mountain rescues for years, steep over the edge numerous times, snow shoes really help.
Casey I was impressed you didn't get stuck turning the truck and trailer around. I agree that your camera man should check out Matt's channel, Trevor is a legend when it comes to running in snow. I learned one valuable rule when pulling someone out you never floor it good to know
Another successful recovery by Casey. Though the more of these snow recoveries i see you, Matt and others make the more the Clint Eastwood line comes to mind "A man/woman needs to know their limitations" in this case we need to add equipment to the list of man/woman :) Peace.
Awesome as always it's good to see you got help with you and this is a good opportunity for Zach and Alan to learn from a pro. Awesome content Casey and crew keep them coming you as always make my day. God bless you guys and as always be safe 👍
Well Casey .... I hate to admit it, but I never knew what that little cutout was for on the back bumper. I better check and make sure that big eyebolt is actually with the spare under the back mat of my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. Bought it used in 2020, and it was like mint ... to the point where it looked like the mat that covers the wheelwell for the spare tire was never even accessed. You learn something new every day. Thanks for the vid ... take care.
Hell yeah casey almost 80k subs. Been here since the 10k mark and so happy this channel is succeeding. I love them tracks, pretty cool they are made in my homestate. Would love to get a set but with how we don't get the snow like we used to in michigan I don't see it being worth it. Still have fun though, been tinkering around on a 92 ford explorer I bought for a cabin plow truck. With a 4"lift and 33"x12.5 I air down to almost nothing and does really well in the snow. We also get the many types of snow here and each time we go out to play on the weekend is a mystery of success or bitter failure.
Quick lesson in the difference between "all-season" tires (no such thing, only a '3' season tire at best) and "winter rated" tires (they'll have a snow flake ❄ on the side of the tire). They're made from a different compound, will stay soft at temps below 45℉ and adhere to moisture based surfaces, like 'rain tires' in motorsports. Somewhere on UA-cam is a snow removal video where the guy installs these on his Bobcat that he uses and it cut his snow removal times drastically. They stop and turn a lot better, too. 4-wheel drive only works when your tires have traction. Share this will all of your snow stranded customers. It could literally save someone's life.
The very best option is to install a trailer hitch. But if you can’t do that, please make sure that you fully tighten the tow eye. It should be more than just finger tight. Your owner manual may have some installation instructions. So check that out as well.
I have made the Walk of shame quite a few times but I never had anybody to call cuz back in the '90s didn't have cell phones we had pagers and that's when I did all my mud riding and snow driving LOL. We had to depend on the farmers or any neighbor that had a tractor or major four-wheel drive truck that will be kind enough to come help us LOL
This is weird - I never get carsick, however, when you have your camera pointed out the windshield I can feel my stomach starting to get a little queasy😬 Doesn't stop me from watching. I enjoy watching all of your videos!
Poor Trevor - fall in the snow a couple of times and hear about it forever from everyone else 🙂 I don't think people understand totally that putting their vehicle in gear and just letting it idle is often all the assist that is needed to get them out of bad situations - more throttle just means more holes dug, and more slipping.
Dang it, you took my line about Trevor and MORR! lol Give 'em time, they'll learn. As you will learn to wait on your camera guys. :D:D:D In all fairness, they DID do a great job, albeit without Trevor's fancy smancy special effects from falling during the shots. :D All in all, well done!
What!? Someone doesn't know who Trevor is? He ought to be teaching a Recovery Filming 101 Class. Love the snow work and my wife wants to move out there.
Note to self… if I buy a new car make sure the damn thing has viable tow points… should be taught to everyone then maybe the manufacturers/penny pinchers will start including them in their products
Just once is all it usually takes for these young drivers to learn a valuable lesson. It’s funny that they got the car stuck, then a truck stuck, but then concluded that getting a 3rd vehicle stuck would not be good. 🤪 Nice content. I really like the new team to handle the filming. Also, when using those screw in “tow eyes” it’s very important to torque them properly. Most of them are 1/2” or 5/8” diameter and should be tightened to 80-100 foot pounds of torque. Put the lug wrench through the eye and tighten it fully. Until you can’t turn it anymore. You should not be able to remove the tow eye by hand. Most owners manuals have instructions regarding the proper installation and removal of the tow eyes. But unfortunately, most folks don’t take the time to read the instructions. But it’s their vehicle, their money, and they can do whatever they want with it. However, it’s also their responsibility to pay the cost for recovery when they get stuck.
I think it was the dad that stopped the third cra from getting stuck. the tacoma is a TRD off road, it should have crawl control and he could have gotten out for sure by himself.
@@geraldh.6686 perhaps so. But the situation made for another great recovery video. I do hope that some young and inexperienced driver are watching these recoveries. Perhaps it will prevent them from finding themselves in the same situation, unprepared. I agree that with more experience and perhaps some shoveling, the Tacoma could have recovered on its own. But honestly, it’s very hard to fully understand the conditions at the location when watching a video. The Tacoma most likely did not have snow tires. Perhaps just all season tires. Maybe all terrain. A set of lightweight chains would have made a huge difference. But of course you have to have the proper equipment to install them. And the knowledge to do so. I was young once. I made similar mistakes. I learned over time. Not understanding your surroundings, conditions on the ground, and your vehicle capabilities makes for some risky adventures.
Casey, always when I watching you loading Jeep to trailer middle of the night, I wondering why you not have the rock lights under the Jeep ? Lights would help load the Jeep into the trailer and also tie it and they could also be helpful in rescue missions in the dark.
Those tear-offs you have for motorcycle googles? They're like a plastic strip, you grab one and tear them off & you got a clear view again. We think they should have them for underpants for moments like the tundra had!

Definitely worth putting a trailer hitch on that kind of car, even if you do not have a trailer. At least Casey can tow you out that way.
Ol dude was moving at a decent speed when he spun tht Yota out. Good thing he didnt hit a tree. Another killer video buddy! 🤘
I love that Zach and Alex are just your friends now
Trevor doesn't just fall in the snow, sometimes it's sand and rocks
Douglas--And hard metal objects!!
Also has issues getting out of the Bombi.
Poor Trevor; he’s states away and still getting grief.
Casey ... You make things look easy! Nice recovery
Everybody drove somewhere they're not meant to drive to. It's a learning experience.
