6:34 you can literally hear how she's not being genuine here. From the forced "very cute ending" to immediate noticeable tonal shift into annoyance when saying "but yeah". I don't know how more people aren't picking up on that. The fact that she ran to her alt account to rant on Twitter about it immediately afterwards kinda just says it all.
I also think a lot of people are misintepreting why people are calling her out too. It's not because of Firefly. It's because of Mina's hypocrisy. She's consistently shown to be ecstatic over Firefly going on dates with and being Stelle's girlfriend, as well as shipping her with other female characters, but it's only a problem when Caelus comes into the picture. The funniest part of it is how she says it reduced Firefly's character when the only one reducing Firefly's character is Mina herself because all she could focus on at the end of that trailer was Caelus and not the underlying meaning of it. It's all just pure, unfiltered hypocrisy.

Whenever she plays the game she constantly loses her shit over the girls in it, and does not pay attention to the story. Everytime something big happens, or something important is said, she goes "Oh my god, she is so cute" "She is so hot, i wasn't listening." - even Tectone pays more attention.
No wonder Firefly's character flew over her head, when all she ever saw in her was a new cute girl for her to add to her collection of yuri, most of which is pure headcanon, may I add. I first discovered Mina in my related videos due to reaction videos to Genshin. The video recommended to me was her mom reacting to characters in Genshin, and another one to HSR characters, not gonna lie and I thought I was just being paranoid, Mina's mom was wonderful and very entertaining, but then watching Mina herself I was kinda iffy with. I mainly watched the rest of the videos because her mom's reactions to characters were really funny and I just saw her mom more entertaining tbh. I tried watching her other videos but I couldn't do it, I'm not saying she is a terrible person or anything but she kinda just gave me a bad vibe I guess? This would be reflected in occasional twitter posts from her I would see since it would appear in my feed (because I follow HSR/Genshin content). As soon as I saw this blow up a bit, I kinda felt relieved that people, even her fans, were calling her out on this. Obviously she shouldn't get harassment, but if you are going to be this hypocritical you kinda deserve criticism at the very least. People just need to be more honest. Yes, you might get people who don't like you, your opinions, or your content (I mean everyone is different in their own way) but at least you won't get backlash this hard.
True fans of Mina would know not to defend her in situations like this even if that wasn’t a big deal.
She's a content creator, she should've been aware of the risks that's gonna come with her opinions when she became one and in dealing with people on social media since social media can quickly reveal the very real and worst side of a person. When Firefly was first revealed on Penacony, Mina was fangirling her with Stelle & Robin (female MC). That's fine (there are videos of that thread as reply, which shows this).
Calling it unnecessary right after 2-3 patches of Character Development for her Firefly (not perfect, but still development), because it's Caelus instead of Stelle? Damn Mina.
I follow her and Numi, and yet this was pretty dumb. That follow-up reply was just trying to defuse the bomb.
I'm really disappointed since i used to watch her. Liking a certain gender or ship more than the other is perfectly fine, but she is obsessed over such stuff to an offensive degree. Seeing this take of hers exposes how hypocritic and unaware she is, and gives insight to other parts of her personality she keeps hidden or makes excuses for.
Many times in the past she has exuded Schrodinger's asshole behavior (when someone says something offensive and then tries to play it off as a joke immediately and avoid backlash) - a commenter mentioned her reaction when Navia looked at Aether during her trailer, which she followed up with "I'm joking, I'm joking". You can tell from how she normally acts that that moment really got under her skin. I am pretty sure you can find many such cases if you look through her videos and VODs.
Of course, she doesn't hate men - she has some male characters that she likes like Kazuha, and seemingly Jiaoqiu who shares his VA, and other. However she is toxic when it comes to Yuri.
Something else that made an impression was when she was looking at Yunli's drip marketing, where she talked about how she shipped her with Sushang (i think?). It's very weird to ship a character you barely found out about and have no clue about her personality... what's more, when someone in chat mentioned that she is being shipped with Yanqing (which makes since, as during the anniversary event, Jing Yuan was thinking about introducing them to each other so that they could hit it off) Mina straight up said that that ship is awful and she "un-ships" them... meanwhile she herself ship every female character in the game - seems everything gets a pass from her, as long as it's not Male x Female.
I always had this weird feeling about her, and look where this ended up. Exposed as a straight phobic yuri

If I’m not mistaken, the reason why she “hates men” or “hates male mc” is because in other streams or interactions in which she commented about liking the female mc, the male mc fanbase/lovers will often say “so you don’t like the male mc” or “you hate men”, “she hates the male mc” and so on, in one of this interactions, I think she said that something like this (I don’t fully remember) “I don’t hate him, he is literally the genderdend of the female mc, they’re the same person, just different designs and I like the design of the female mc a bit more than the male mc” and the hate didn’t stop there so in one video she said that “people think I hate the male mc, but you know what? Now I do because of them” and that’s it.
