    Thank you. I'm 66, small lady, and have a big yard with a dozen assorted deciduous trees and 20 pine trees. Tired of paying $400 for leaf cleanups twice a year. So I bought one of these and about to go pick it up at Lowes. I truly appreciate every bit of your video.

    A great video. The EGO battery powered products are truly a Great bang for the buck with quality. My experience is 25+years as a owner for Lawn Equipment ( I sold the dealership in 2018 / the price was right ). This Marine was always honest with my customers; so, when they saw and asked me about the Stihl Battery Products at the store; I had to be upfront on my opinion because it is about " People before Profits; " thus I would recommend the " EGO Battery Products. " Example: the Stihl BGA 85 with AP300 battery and charger is @ $549.85 vs an EGO with battery and charger @ $ 300.00....OH YEA!

      Yeah, this thing is awesome. So many versatile uses especially with this much power and no cords.

    I have the ego530 for 3 years now. Works flawlessly, no complaints. This 650 would be a nice upgrade.

    Nice video! Been looking to get that model. Probably the most powerful cordless blower on the market.

      Yeah, I think at the time of this video is still is. I know a few others are trying to compete but their battery tech is as good.

    Used it for the 1st time today, thing is shocking my hand at the trigger. Works great when not shocking me. Back to Lowe's it goes.

    I just bought it, it is amazing, but for $300, they could have included a strap!

    Why is the 580 $30 more than the 650 at home depot?

    I just bought this blower and charged the battery. I touched the trigger and it worked for 1 second and then I cannot get it to work anymore. Any ideas?

      Bring it back to the store. I also had this happen!

      Many reviews say that this happened. Take it back. They have poor quality control.
      Don't test em before selling them so many come out as duds. But the ones that work really work well.

    I have one.
    The battery dies fast!
    Gas is better.

    My blower worked fine yesterday but I don't think I had the speed lock to the off position when I removed the battery. Now the battery is fully charged but it won't start. Any ideas? Thanks

      I have had the same intermittent issue. It hasn't done it in a few weeks but if it happens again I'll be submitting a warranty claim on the battery. I have seen some other video mentioning some battery control board issues, so that could be the issue, but this was mostly on older batteries.

    I don't understand why you can't lock on the turbo button, that's lame.

    • @michaelholly88
      @michaelholly88 3 роки тому +1

      Because it will eat through a 5ah battery in 15 minutes on turbo. It’s not meant for sustained use on turbo, unless you have larger batteries or a large quantity of them. I honestly wish they would do away with the turbo and make the variable speed trigger go from off to full rpm of turbo and a variable lock on whatever speed you desire. You’d need a 10ah battery to run on turbo for 30+ minutes

    • @nsxproperties560
      @nsxproperties560 3 роки тому

      @@michaelholly88 Most of the time for quick cleanup you do need a sustained run time. They should have a lock for the turbo.

  • @johnqcitizen9177

    That wasn’t a review. Who cares if it can blow. The RUN TIME is what is important.

    Big deal you're blowing dry leaves off a cement patio, any blower can do that. Not a good demonstration of what it can do.

    Beware! Cannot buy one without battery even though advertised. Defeats the purpose of interchangeable battery.

      Buying a package with the battery included is definitely the cheapest way to get an additional battery, though, if you ever think you'll need one (or more). I bought the bare tool 18" chainsaw online from Lowe's, then tried to cancel the order (to order one with battery included) but was too late. :(
