  • Conifer Connection to Lower Conifer is an intermediate ski run located at Wachusett Mountain. The trails run from the summit of the ski area at the top of the Polar Express Quad chairlift, down to the base area. The run starts on Conifer Connection, which begins to the skier's right of the top of the chairlift. The trail starts out mellow with a couple of curves before widening and entering into a gentle but consistent pitch. The trail eventually turns into Lower Conifer which continues down the mountain with slight curves and a couple of small dips before flattening out and running straight down to the base area.
Wachusett Mountain is a ski area located in Westminister and Princeton, Massachusetts. The ski area is located in north-central Massachusetts in Worcester County. Wachusett is located right off of State Route 2 as well as near Interstate 190. The ski area is well-known for being easy to access from major cities in Massachusetts being only an hour's drive northwest of Boston and a 30-minute drive north of Worcester. Wachusett is also popular amongst families due to its single base area, its excellent learn-to-ski program, and its large variety of gentle groomed terrain for everyone in the family. Three high-speed quad chairlifts serve three distinct pods on the mountain. The Polar Express serves intermediate and advanced terrain from the summit, the Minuteman Express serves easier intermediate terrain while the Monadnock Express serves the beginner area. The ski area is independently owned and not a destination on any multi-mountain passes.

I'm surprised at how the camera flattens the terrain. Nice slush run.
