This is a Porsche 911 restoration that was abandoned in 1994 after being converted to a race car. My plan is a twin turbo Subaru EZ30 porsche engine swap with 400+ HP to the wheels. Stay tuned.

Man... I found you and Mike about 2 months ago.
Watched Mike's entire Ferrari build, and just started going through your 911 build about 2 weeks ago.
About the welding tho @ 3:51... This man is speaking the truth. It was crazy to see his welding skills at the BEGINNING of his build; and then towards the END when he finished his ferrari.
Watching from Greece I have been here for about a year when I first saw the awesome Subaru 911 build , huge fan of Subaru and Porsche
The rear end of this car rendering is probably the best looking Porsche I've ever seen.
Throw back to the 1/4 pipe at the old place. So glad we picked that up from you and were able to rebuild it into two smaller 1/4 pipes!
No way! send me a picture on Instagram. Cool that you are still following along.

Mike it is soooo exciting to see you finally rebuilding the Porsche. The sandblasted parts, bluing and black paint all look awesome. Love the colour of the car. It's great watching all your videos. Nice to see your cameo on Stanceworks.
Mike while the blackened bolts look good now, you have removed all the corrosion protection for those bolts. The blackened and oiled finish will rust, even if you clear coat them (it will give somewhat of better protection) they will still rust, it’s not a finish that should be exposed to the elements. you are better off going with stainless bolts and blackening those if that’s the look you are going for or I would have the bolts cadmium or zinc plated so they all look the same. Either way glad to see progress being made!
Learning that now. Thank you!
The zinc (silver and yellow/gold) was there for a reason. He is in Cali and may be ok with that coating...may not if it sees much moisture.

Sarnia Ontario Canada! Love the build... yourself and Stance are doing a step by step build that I enjoy... the little details are fascinating to learn about, and see how you solve issues. Cheers!
I like the blueing. Why not blue all the parts not just the hardware. The other coating I have found I like is Cerakote coatings. A DIY coating you can get done at home with your oven. Amazingly large color choices. Come with a spray gun and tools minus the oven that a person would need to get the job done. Check it out on youtube.
Chorley, Lancashire, Uk, I've watched all of your build from the beginning .
Watching from the start in ireland Mike!
a man of my people. I have a vision of driving a vintage Porsche on the Ring of Kerry sometime.
