If you ever get over to Europe visit the Protoyp Museum in Hamburg, they have a lot of very rare and prototype Porsches. I live in the UK but have visited twice in the last 12 months.
@@rennch.I've spent the last several hours trying to work out how to make similar for my project car (not a Porsche!) - I think you'll be very surprised at demand for such a cool piece. Regardless, keep up the excellent work!
There were only two people out of about 100 that were dismissive. Everybody else totally understood that paying $30,000 and waiting two years for an engine rebuild is ridiculous, but that is the state of the vintage Porsche world right now.
Lol, here in Edmonton (Canada) we had a dump of 10" of snow last night so not many Porsches on the road. My poor Sebring is buried in a 5' snow drift so I'm going nowhere till the Bobcat digs us out. What can a guy do but laugh?
What’s the make and model of the wheel that came in? I really like the look of it and am trying to find options for my 986, it reminds me of 981 gt4 wheels
Is there a chance that you could make a 986/987 swap kit for this engine setup? I think it’s gonna be important for future collectors to keep early boxsters on the road as the affordable entry into Porsche, but there’s so little aftermarket for power upgrades on those chassis.
Definitely… That is in the plans but we have to solve the situation where there's no starter amount on that transmission or the Subaru engine. I did it on the blasphemy bill but it requires cutting the transmission pretty severely.
@@rennch. I understand that....but did I miss the episodes where it was driven....or is it not there yet? I am hoping to see and hear some Angeles Crest Highway footage
That active aero is beyond sick!
Nice nice nice. Super cool man, way to get yourself out there.
Great to see the Ghost looking proper once again! That active aero setup is killer!
That active aero turned out cool as ice! Will be interesting to see how you can get it to jive with the air scoop for the intercooler.
Cool. Thanks for the quick tour. How freaking cool is that deck lid?!!!
Hi to Ben.
Car culture is insane.
Wing area is crazy❤❤❤❤
I had a 911 in that brown color when I lived in Southern California. It still looks great. Memories !
Yea, it has to be REALLY polished to look good...and that one is!
"Cool" is the ultimate inderstatement when it comes to the active aero! WOW. WOW, WOW!
Thanks man!
Its been about 20 years since I have been a vendor at the Lit Show, but looks about the same. Good job on the show man!
Much appreciated!!
All was great and you save the best for last !
Thanks for that!
That active aero is SICK!!, Kudos on the display man!!

Such a cool car my friend, digging the active aero! Congrats on the LIT show and awesome booth. Thanks for brilliant content as usual, keep it up
It was good to meet you guys! The setup looks great!
Thanks man! Went well!
The Active Aero mechanism was somthing else ...
I think you're going to sell a lot of those active aero kits. Brilliant idea, and execution.
I hadn't considered selling those. We'll see what the future brings.

Thanks Scott!
Great update. That aero is sweet! High 🖐🏾 from the UK.
high five back!
I saw a hint of a Meyer’s Manx in the background of the show. That does pique my interest!
Nice meeting you bro😂 981 guy from Costco
Great meeting you Philip! Thanks for stopping and saying hello.
Love it
Thanks for the video - so.. what was the general reception at the event of the idea of a Subaru engine swap?

that brown turbo is an early 75 or 76. i bet the interior was awesome. ill take that.
You are welcome Sir!!!
You are a gentleman and a scholar sir.
Rebbull and tequila! LOL
10:55 that contraption could also be letting out heat from the engine bay. Maybe with that goal in mind it requires less "prettification"

It was just the tire I was waiting for. The wheels are Accumoto Fuchs, 9 and 11 x 15.

The wing looks dope… I think we need a true garage build~reorganization as it’s got to be hard to work in or does the chaos keep you moving?
I did a massive reorganization and clean on Sunday.
I started watching because a Subaru motor was being put into a Porsche....did I miss it? Has it been driven??
Literally the whole video was about getting that engine to a Porsche show.

@ChatNoir443 Engine literally just got assembled three days ago. So not yet.
But the twin turbo version started a year ago. Look for it in my feed… Episode 100.
