I love Skyclad, no matter the incarnation. But the Martin years were fucking awesome.
Good old Skyclad!
Been loving Skyclad since 1994. Nothing to beat them for heavy metal folk!
Martin is amazing. He has such a talent for writing the witty inteligent lyrics. And the way he sings and transfer the energy on you is really powerful. He is my idol already 20 years.
One of these days I'll pay proper tribute to Skyclad. One of these days.
It’s not the same these days without Martin. 🤘🏼. Nice chap. Very humble and very welcoming. Sadly so nice that some people probably shat on his good nature.
Used to drink with Martin in the Angel back in the day - one of the nicest people on the scene 👍
1997: The year i bought Oui Avant Gard a Chance....great, great album
amazing performance, great violin player
Wish I was there
This is brilliant; thank you so much for uploading this!
Nice old years nice memories from the past 😞
The best celtic metal band EVER
good times........
Thank you !!!
i know their current drummer, hes my college tutor
Skyclad of the 90's is akin to Judas Priest in the 70's: they codified a genre, were at the peak of their game, had supremely talented musicians, rotating drummers, sharp brainiac lyrics, all in their 20's, were releasing albums each year, and were peerless - they sounded like nobody else at the time, but others started to sound like them as time went on.
Can we all ask Norman where do I meet the stranger?
Can I strongly suggest to not include the tambourine next time , otherwise great tune and energy
There will be no next time.
