Legendary. I used to drool over this model. Was my dream bike, but at the time couldn’t afford one. Ended up buying a 1997 GSX-R600. Yours bike looks and sounds killer.

Beautiful job on the restore! I try to avoid chrome on mine, drops the value and collectors usually steer clear of bikes that are chromes out (for OEM type collectors). But a beauty is a beauty! Keep her sunny side up! 🤙

CDP Motovlog Thanks, yes, afr gauge is waterproof, I am using Megasquirt MS II, and is fuel only, ignition is oem, I took rpm signal from ecm tacho output. Air temp sensor, tps sensor and Wideband, alpha N algorithm, no maf. Fuel pump is from gsxr 1000 k6 in tank.

@@stephenwilliams4778 No return line. gsxr 1000 fuel pump, and gsxr 750 2002 fuel rail and throttles, it recirculates the fuel inside the tank, fuel pressure regulator and filter on pump cartridge,

Are the throttle bodies a direct fit?
Would love to do this with mine as it needs a rewire and the carbs are a PITA!
Any issues with tenths tune using the pod filters or does the ecu manage that easy enough?

Almost, you have to space a little between two and three, 2002 srad has the timing chain on the side, this one on the center. It's not just a rewire though....Pods are shit now has the oem airbox, much better throttle response and low down torque. Read my responses below here, it's deteiled what has to be done, programing is not so easy unless you know exactly what you are doing.
Sebastián Demaría that’s great. Got a guy local who could do all the setup and put it on the dyno to do it properly.
I saw it needs the additional controllers etc which makes sense.
Shame about the pods as would have been handy space wise to ditch the air box to relocate the electrics but will move that all to the tail hump when I do the full rewire anyway.

So you can replace the W's fork with a K-fork? Did you notice any handling changes? A friend of mine here in Germany owns a 750W which has all bits ahead of the steering head missing… This might help rescuing that beauty.
Hi, what I replaced is the rear shock from a 07/08. front forks are oem reworked. Rised the rear 3cm

@@satanem The programable ecu (Magsquirt) has auto tune capabilities, but took lots of work and trial and error to be ready to use the auto tune, think that I started from scratch, so first the cranking map, then the warm up map, then the running map and last the accel map, and once everything is about 60%+ running right, the last thing is the auto tune.

@@satanem use Tuner Studio for programing.. The registered VERSION and Mega log viewer, Bluetooth conecction its a must. I found the best way is to carry a windows based tablet on a backpack connected via Bluetooth to the ecu so you can run auto tune (named "VEAL" on tuner studio...) Obviously a good Wide band oxigen sensor it's also a must.

Hola, de gsxr 750 2001. Los cuerpos de las Suzuki gsxr 750 (38mm) o de 600 (36mm) del 2000-2002 son los que más se usan por que son los únicos que se pueden separar de a uno, la mayoría de los cuerpos de moto vienen de a pares y no se pueden espaciar bien para otros motores.

@ I believe you. 86 1100 ; I'm putting 01 gsxr600 injectors on ( 38 mm ). I have a Dyna 2000 ignition and I'm going to use a MS1 I made up years ago. Almost finished building the throttle body assembly, then I will have to find a spot to mount the hardware. Did you use the MS relay board or something smaller?
@@kaveebee Smaller, just two relays outside, one for the ms and other for the injectors.. My advice, cut the base of the tank, make a flange, and install an oem Suzuki fuel pump, do it now, I now nobody want to cut the tank, but external fuel pump with fuel pressure regulator and return lines will NEVER work well, you'll thank me later. Ask me how I know...
@ Thanks Sebastian. I never argue with the man with the experience. I have cut the tank to blast out the rust so putting in a flange will be part of the fun. But I also had decided to put in an external pump with a downstream automotive fuel filter. I have two questions: Suzuki Oem pump has filter on the supply side right? AND What is the disadvantage of external pump and return lines? ( I was going to use a voltage adjustment on the fuel pump to limit over supply ). Answers will be appreciated. Thank You. Gracias.
@@kaveebee 1) Space, in tank has the filter and the FPR in the same cartridge, just one cable and a small pipe out of it.) 2) Precision: Steady 3 bar fuel pressure no matter what, the same as oem 01/02 Injectors 3) Safety, it's a bike, not a car, everithing runs under you, the more fuel lines and connectors, the more prone to fail. 5) Size:, a good oem external fuel pump is considerably big for a bike, plus the connectors, pipes, etc..

I don't know if I can trust an aftermarket Fuel Injection Kit........ I'd be worried that thing is gonna crap out on me late at night on a dark lonely stretch of road. No thanks, give me my ultra reliable never fail carburetor setup. Thank you.
Well, that's was a fun thing, regarding reliability, a very simple efi like this is as or more reliable than carb, is fuel only, so spark is via oem cdi, which a carb bike has, just a few sensors, fuel pump and relays. The hard part is the programing. I already sold the bike and new owner hasn't got any problem in 3 years. For the one who made it, me, is much easier to mantein or trubleshoot any issue. Had many carb bikes though...

Older bikes sound 100% better. Much more throaty grunt before fuel injection came out. I'd definitely put the carbs back on.
