As always, thanks so much for watching, Tony. Glenridding Dodd is ideal if you're stuck for time, you can be up and down really quickly. It's also great for wild camping, even with my heavy pack it doesn't even take an hour, there's loads of options for pitching, and above all - the views are stunning. Take care, there'll be another video in a week or so. Cheers!
That trail up through the woods looks a bit overgrown with ferns 😅 lucky that you managed to get the tent up just about in time. Nice spot to pitch. That sun hitting the fells the next morning was beautiful. Great drone footage.
Thanks for watching, Yasmin. The trail through the woods was really overgrown, I lost the path at one point. Our pitch was excellent, surprised there was no one else up there. I love that sunrise footage too, so lucky to witness it. I'm happy with the drone footage, but it was hard work keeping control of the poor old drone. Take care.
Hiya Col. Yes, I'm happy with the drone footage, but that wind was the limit for the drone, it really struggled. Thanks for watching, Col, it's really appreciated. Take care.
Funny enough that is where we were going to camp a couple of weeks back but up the steep way from Glenridding, which put us off in the end. That rain was not part of the plan and it did come down hard but the 22.00 view did look nice with the morning view even better. I always think Glenridding Dodd is so underrated, as the views from there are superb and not that high either. Shame about the high winds but at least you got the drone out, cheers Alan
As always - thanks for the continued support, Alan. I'm with you, this little fell is really underrated, and I don't know why! The views are indeed superb for a relatively small fell, and I'm surprised we were the only people up there. I now know the limits of my drone, it only just managed to fly in the high wind. Thanks for looking in again. Take care.
Awesome drone footage of Ulswater and the surrounding fells. I have been planning for an overnight camping on the Sheffield pike myself and this video sums up the entire experience quite well. Tried capturing the Derwent water and Ennerdale here: ua-cam.com/video/yvvrCiIi41Q/v-deo.htmlsi=30EjWGXSEqQyZoTE
Thanks for watching. This was one of our best camps ever, the light was superb. Only just managed the drone as it was really windy. Sheffield Pike is a good camping spot, but not done it yet myself. Cheers!
Grand job Mal, always look forward to the latest release, cheers!

Thanks for watching. The green tent is the Naturehike Cloudpeak 2, the other is the Big Agnes Copper Spur (I think)
Cheers!
Never mind the drone footage what about the driving 150miles an hour on country road Michael Schumacher eat your heart out.
At last! Someone recognises my advanced driving skills. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
