Boil 12 tea bags in your water on the stove in an 8 qt stockpot. Add 1 Tsp baking soda and remove from the stove and pour into your pitcher. Add in your sugar and allow to cool. (I'm southern and don't measure sugar, I pour until my ancestors whispers enough child😂). Baking soda cuts acidity and makes tea clearer in appearance.
But the sodium and sugar not good!
I use 6 bags of Earl Grey to a gallon of water. Boil the water, let steep for no more than 6 minutes. It can get bitter if steeped too long. Sugar to taste.
There is no other way to add sugar ❤️

First you start out with sun brewed tea, made in a large glass jar and cold water, sitting in the sun. I use either the gallon size tea bag or 7 black tea bags, I've made green sun tea too and it's amazing. Instead of just sugar, I make a simple syrup, equal parts (1cup each) water and sugar in a saucepan, heat till clear. Let cool. Add the whole amount to your pitcher then the sun tea. It's soooo good!!
Cottage cheese is used to substitute ricotta cheese in lasagna. My mom always made it like that.
In the summer, I like tomatoes fresh from the garden with cottage cheese. 😋

My mom added Country Time powered lemonade mix to her brewed tea for a great lemon flavor (not per glass, to the whole gallon or whatever size your making)...delish!!! :) And Yes down here in the south tea is a HAVE to and it has to be sweet!

I have found that luzianne tea makes better ice tea than Lipton. I only make unsweetened tea. My husband is diabetic! That’s all he drinks usually!!
Meg ever made sun tea in glass pickle jar. Put water in jar put tea bags , place in the sun. If done in the morning you'll have tea by noon just add ice cubes n favor ( sugar/ lemon)

My daughter & her dad tried the breakfast ramen . They loved it !! Her dad was so surprised how well it tasted. ☺️☺️ It does have 56 grams of carbs so kids can eat it once in a while.

Cottage cheese on pasta? Nope. But mix ricotta (same kind of consistency as light cottage cheese) with egg, black/white pepper, Italian parsley, peccorino romano cheese (grated), basil & a pinch of salt. Mix that with 2 minutes prior to al dente pasta with a little marinara sauce. Then put more sauce, meatballs (small ones) into a baking dish. Pour a little of the pasta into the bottom of the baking dish with sliced provolone cheese, meatballs & sauce. Repeat until baking dish is almost full. Last layer should have sauce and shredded provolone, or mozzarella cheese on top. Then put it in the oven about 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Delicious!!!
Or put 1 quart of cottage cheese with 1 package of Jello (whatever flavor you like) and crushed canned pineapple (no juice) in a bowl and mix it together. Then pour mixture into an 11" graham cracker pie crust. Refrigerate overnight. Delicious! 🙂

Cottage cheese is a good swap for ricotta in some dishes. It melts really well. I love both but my kids prefer melted cottage cheese (looks like mozzarella) to ricotta.
My grandma used cottage cheese instead of ricotta in her lasagna.
