Thank you for the review, great to see that the boot actually looks bigger with the first board lifed up - can this be fully removed to give the boot more depth?
I have just purchased a new 22 plate grandland gs line there is no rear centre armrest,no rear USB port not rear 3 pin socket and no release handles in the boot for dropping the back seats.
A quick guess, is that the gearbox, could, be the new Opel gearbox from the new Astra? It is connected to the same engine. No PSA gearbox has been that good.
@@eivmel It can be called that because PSA owns Opel but it is Opel that has done the gearbox so it's an Opel gearbox which will replace the French manual gearboxes in Peugeot, Citroen and DS - IF... available with manual transmission...
The Crossland has also been design upgraded - I have a new Crossland SRi (previously had a Crossland X). Much improved too! Sadly, they have not angled the infotainment screen towards the driver and there is still a huge blindspot issue. SRi has driver & front passenger ergonomic seats as standard. Headlights are fully led now & with auto dip facility. Very pleased with mine 😊
I wish Vauxhall/Opel did two things with their cars 1) add hold button next to handbrake button like in VW group cars 2) integrate indicators into door mirrors to tidy up the side. Otherwise I think this is a good looking and good value car. I had the prior model a couple of years ago.
The new models, starting with the Corsa and Mokka have started to introduce indicators integrated into the wing mirrors. All other future models will most likely follow suit
integrate indicators into door mirrors makes them more expensive to replace if damaged and they are not in line with the headlights which makes them less easy to see as the eye seeks the headlights when you looking at a car. integrate indicators into door mirrors invented by Mercedes, the only reason was luxury, not function... AND they are much cheaper to produce at the factory because several work steps are avoided - that's why everyone uses them, cheap for the manufacturer.
Front looks weird and the Opel badge should be in chrome. The lower glossy plastic trim also does not looks good and it is not practical for a SUV. Inside there is a big improvement indeed. But the competition is becoming too strong with new Sportage, toucson, qashqai and of course 3008 FL.
I just lost my voice from swearing at this car during a 1000km road trip across Norway. The gearbox in this is the worst gearbox I have ever encountered both as a former mechanic but also as a long time traveling salesman. Jesus christ, how can you produce something this bad in year 2021. Absolutly unbelievable. Ah, it feels better, I needed that.
I dont like it, it's too big. When you do the review of the mercedes eq s it uses huge amount of animal skin, I thought Lewis Hamilton had asked mercedes to move to Vegan materials obviously they haven't which I think that's a big mistake.
3:24 - I drive like this, always, very important car seat feature for me, glad that Opel continues to offer this feature....

Nice design again by Opel/Vauxhall.

I agree. That cant be a PSA gearbox. It is one of the best manuals I have driven
@@autogefuel That says a lot ...

Have you done the Crossland yet? Thanks.

Opel is a notorious car especially Astra in Eygpt

You can get the badges in chrome and gloss black - personal preference and depending on trim level.
Great review. I like things to be aligned as well.. :)
Hey, Wonderful review my friend. Do you have any information if this facelift model will be exported to Egypt?
Good presentation! Thanks. ✌️

Cheers m8!
Looks really cool.
Opel hat gar kein Lenkraddesigner?!

Big cars with a small Three cylinder motor do not fit my personal view.
I have one at it goes really well, I also have a new Golf R and never feel the Grandland is lacking 👍
Vraiment belle
Yes, yes but three cyl...☹️
Big mistake by Opel very big mistake ,no 2.0 177 hp cdti
