In my opinion, I definitely think the m4 is not a bad daily driver. Sure, the regular 428i is a better car due to a better fuel economy, price, and a softer suspension for traffic and community point A to B. But for people who may not commute in heavy traffic, it is doable. Even with the new M4 when they introduced the driver assistance package (includes the traffic jam assist), it makes the car better for bumper to bumper traffic or in general the daily use. Great video!
My sister has daily driven her m4 for 2 yrs solid. Executive and comp package. She just bought a Mercedes to daily drive and make the m4 her summer car. Great review video.

With the price of gas today you can buy a cheap economy car and the savings on gas vs this car would cover the payments on the economy car and you would preserve youre prized car for more relevant driving, like the twisty mountain roads on the weekends.
As an owner all I can say to this is you just don’t get it. These are BMW’s not Ferraris. They are meant for this and this is what we do. Drive….. I happily avg 11k/yr on my 2020 Heritage Edition.
I regularly get 22-26mpg every tank with all urban driving and I have a stage 2 DINAN kit. My best mileage so far was moving it from SoCal to Az, where I got 29mpg on the interstate. As a daily driver, I keep my foot out of it during normal driving, but very regularly hit full acceleration to 140+ on a certain back road, so I’m not by any means babying this car. The ponies need to be let loose to run! What wasn’t mentioned in the video was what a dream this car is to drive in the twisties.
What would you recommend between M5 f10 and this M4? I’m still undecided, I like the v8 but I like the shape of m4 and good revs from everyone. Very hard decision to take.
I am looking into 2015-2016 M4's. Is there a certain mileage you would worry about passing or does it really depend on how it was treated? I'm finding between 55 and 90k miles right now.
If you’re getting one with higher miles I would look for one that’s fully stock and in great shape, also one that has tons of maintenance records. I know several people that have gone over 150k miles and the car still runs great with no major issues. Don’t be afraid of higher miles with these cars. They are built like tanks

will i need to worry about the crank hub if i only make a ecu stage one?
You’ll be fine but be careful with downshifting at high speeds in high rpm’s
@@AutomotiveTherapy yeah i got my f82 m4 fianlly. its a nice car, i love it .
will you make a video like maybe any tricks ? or anything i need to notice?
Any Suggestions regarding tyres which works also in rain very good?
Yes! I love the Pirelli P Zero Max Performance tires. Great dry and wet traction
@@AutomotiveTherapy thanks!! Appreciate your fast response. Cheers from Hamburg
How tall are you?
Im wondering how the seat room behind me will be, I'm only 5'8-5'9
I’m 6”2
Just got one in this colour
Congrats!
Would you recommend a 440i 2019? Also looking at a 2016 m4 or 2018..does it matter between the two?
440’s are great but the M4 is a true M car and gives you the best overall experience when driving. As far as what years, it doesn’t matter that much, I think it’s worth saving the money and getting a pre lci but the 2018’s do look amazing
Pulled the trigger amd got a 2019 M4 ..full house shadow trim..now for spacers.
I own a few BMW M4's and I drive them everyday...Forza Horizon counts right??
Hahaha best comment👏
Would you recommend the convertible version but does the convertible look off when its roof up??
Not a fan of the verts. I’ll take the coupe with a carbon roof any day. It’s also heavier if you get the vert
Hey bro wym crane cup? I have an M4 tuned rn but I’ve never heard about that thing you talked about. I also daily drive it so I’m concerned know
Crankhub is a common failure for these engines, but it really doesn’t happen on stock cars, mainly on modified cars
I don't know that back seat looks tighter than I want it to be, but I like the car.
I’ve been in all the competitors coupes and the M4 takes the win with having the most space, it really does feel spacious and open when you sit back there. But yes the M4 is a great car🙌
@@AutomotiveTherapy great vid and info. I have 2 older kids and Im looking at m3's. I love my s4 but I have always wanted to try an M3. Also I have to have a manual gearbox. I won't go for an Auto(even if they are quicker) just not as fun to me.
how much was it to do the crank hub?
$3,000 parts and labor
What size rear tires are you running? They look fatter than stock
285/40/19
Just have fun
is it easy getting in and out of the car? i have a corvette and it's a pain in the ass sometimes
It’s easy, I had no troubles, corvettes are definitely tighter than M4’s
What would you recommend between M5 f10 and this M4? I’m still undecided, I like the v8 but I like the shape of m4 and good revs from everyone. Very hard decision to take.
M4! It drives more like a sports car!
Manual or DCT?
DCT
How’s the suspension in the winter? Is it a lot stiffer with the roads being hard
Car definitely feels stiff the first few minutes of driving it in the winter. Once it’s warmed up it drives just like it does in the summer
How much was your crankhub with install?
$3,000 for parts and labor
With your suspension and wheels set up do you get any rubbing?
No rubbing! Only on a big bump
Just bought a 2015 m4 f83 with 28k miles, 1 owner, for an absolute steal. Hard top with red interior. About to upgrade the iDrive to carplay. Loving every moment of it!
@@holyship9914 curious from where and how much and also specs of the car.
@@eternal2k4 $39k in Miami, didn't have the sticker and doesn't have carbon fiber trim, but it did come with the upgraded sound and tech package and premium wheels. Now that it has carplay it has everything I wanted, including such low miles it's practically new.
@@holyship9914wow 39k what a Steal for that low of miles
Awesome video my man! Looking to connect with other BMW content creators! Keep cranking the content out!
Thank you man! And yes it’s always good to connect with like minded people! I’ll subscribe to your channel💪
M4’s are superior BMW #w
They are pretty great!
How much did u pay for the car? Did you buy it new or used?
Here’s a video I made breaking down all the costs: ua-cam.com/video/NodpQm4uoqA/v-deo.html
Where is the rear sunshade button ?
Right under the window controls
@@AutomotiveTherapy ah i think mine doesnt have it =(
I didn’t know I had it for the longest time haha. Honestly I don’t use it that much so you’re not really missing out
I WANNA BUY THIS GODDAMN RACING CAR
Great video
Thank you!
what year is yours?
2016
wen stage 2
I can’t run OTS stage 2 because of the high altitude I live in :( I have to get a custom tune for my altitude and go e85 if I want to start bumping up the power
Nice breakdown. It’s really shocking how much space back passengers have lol
Thank you! And yes I was too when I bought the car! I never feel bad putting people in the backseat because of how spacious it is!
Hey how much did you pay to do the crank hub?
3k parts and labor
@@AutomotiveTherapy wow that’s expensive
I see the C2 rower! haha
