Thanks for being positive Curtbone. From hearing your story and how you describe your upbringing in those times, it seems like you are basically a victim of circumstance regarding the dealing. For most folks, dealing was a easy way to have money to have fun and some clothes. It turns into something else later as you develope. But there is little indication early of the outcome regarding the effects on the inner cities but the US government is just as responsible for participating in exposing our communities. Maybe one day they will acknowledge it instead of making people like you the evil that begot evil.
My brother went to Morton in the 80s probably 1986, he got a youth act. Got busted by them undercover cop’s one was called cowboy. He beat the !!!! Out of him for buying a diluadid and a bam. He violated probation and judge Murphy said go to Lorton and tell all your white friends what it’s like. He was barley 19.I think he was in youth center one. They gave him a job cleaning the visiting room, so you can imagine what he started to do for the brothers in there, well it saved his life and he got paid in dope, real dope, like gold on boy, brown tape. I think golden boy did some boxing in lorton. That was his package.Yeah we used to visit him. Yeah it was the worst prison in the United States. I ended up doing five year’s in Powhatan in VA. I would rather do five there then one in the youth center. He never checked in but got stabbed up a little and fought until he proved himself. Shout out to the video great job soldier.
