Luckily da Tennessee shot caller was cool and walked da yard with DC shot caller everyday. When DC got word of what was going down. He came over to Tennessee shot caller and said “Slim “ we fucks with y’all Mo them don’t want no problems. DC was about 400 deep in USP Lee and if u been in da Feds u know how DC get down! Man them Carolina dudes started slowly walking away tryna get off yard on next move to go in da unit. Shout out to the DC cats they came thru and possibly saved my life or kept me from butchering someone extending my stay.

And truth is Brothers from Cali were getting served by D.C. whether they were Crip/Blood or Bay Area,In fact there was an incident @Lompoc in 91 where the Crips got ran off the yard by D.C. ! It wasn't until like '93 when all the California Brothers put aside thier differences to form one united CALI CAR,So that the could finally compete with DC !

I'm from Philly I hung in DC a lot coming up, They some straight up cats that don't take no shit. Lived in Cali for about 6 months its a whole different vibe out there coming from the east coast. We not on the same time, the slang was different the gang culture had a under culture that you wouldn't understand unless you grew up there. Not just colors but baseball hats have meaning it's a lot more complex for a cat from another part of the country... Definitely gotta watch your step.
