- This video shows me potting on Giant Veg that hopefully grow enough so I can show them at Malvern. I finally started the potato for the #SSPChallange2023 hosted by Steve, aka Digwell Green Fingers.

Sorry for late reply… I actually watched this a few days ago in the greenhouse 😊. The giant veg are looking good… fingers crossed you can get a card on your first attempt 🤞🏻. Good luck mate.

What's with this potato challenge?.... I've never scene anything growing to such small scraps...I never even cut my seed potatoes up....my dad did...but I don't....

The competition is run by Steve Digwell Fingers to see who can grow the most potatoes from just one. The potato is cut up so each piece has an eye that will grow into plants. It's quite interesting to see how much will grow from such small pieces. You can even grow potatoes from peelings.
