Justin, I also have the same stage 2 whipple on my 19GT. Put in the CS and OPG for added securty the same as you. You running 10.21 at 137mph is pure baddass considering your cars weight and temp. Cooler day and I promise you will go 9.99, you already have the mph..Congrats my friend.
I was waiting for this. Congratulations Justin on your Supercharged stang. Really excited for Stage 4. If you plan to improve it further. You could add a oil separator. I want to see more builds. Stoked on the this year make a wish build.
Nice, congrats! Now you need to upgrade the half shafts before you go to the track again. They're known to snap even N/A so launching it like you did there is a matter of when not if. They'll last long on street use or trips to Mexico but at the track they'll snap on you. The 10r80 is fine till you consistently go 750+whp and that'll be 3rd gear that's going to check out eventually. Enjoy in great health!
That set up will keep you enjoying the track tnts and not have ti really worry about getting kicked off all the while no fuel tune swaps needed. Good job
That's what my buddy and I were talking about- he's got a big block Chevelle with a bunch of Nitrous and he is jealous of the simplicity of this setup. -Justin
I know on the s197 coyotes there's an electric water pump, I wonder if there is one for theS550? because that is something that you could install as well as a standalone instead of the add-on...
just got a 2020 procharged gt with 4k miles on it!! i love the procharger cause normal cruising it doesn't drive insane which is awesome for me cause its my new daily!!! but, anything I should worry about longterm? any maintenance I should watch for or anything? I've owned 2 other mustangs BUT this is my first modded one. thanks!
You bought it already modified? Who tuned it? What other supporting mods do you have? How much boost are you running? These are important questions you need to answer first.
Car's more than likely only seeing 10-11lbs max with the header setup- and Jon said the car is VERY happy on 93, as the numbers indicate. Thanks Sergio! -Justin
It's not a common problem with the new mustangs to have the lower splitter come apart but rather a very common problem with that aftermarket lower grille. The metal tabs used in that lower grille can't hold up to high speeds and it's extremely dangerous. I had the same lower grille and the exact same problem, went back to factory lower grille and problem solved. There needs to a warning on that product. For reference I have a 3.0 whippll as well and trapped 138mph and my bumper also came apart...lol..awesome run man. On just E85 I ran 144mph, same pulley.
Throw a converter in the 10r80 with a transbrake. Like to see how much it drops that ET. Probably atleast .5 even with the same boost level you where currently at.
How’s the motor holding up? Especially with the famous typewriter tik. As well how is that 10 speed holding that power?! Also how well does that supercharger spin with those high revving coyotes vs say a procharger?
No tick here, shes going strong. And Jon told me these things start to slip around high 700, low 800 so I think I'll be ok for a bit at this level. Thanks for watching Chris! -Justin
I really hope they switched to billet/forged oil pump gears for the gen 4 coyote on the new mustang. Crank sprocket possibly too. Being able to just throw on a supercharger without tearing into the engine would be so much nicer. Even if it's just for the Dark Horse motor they need to upgrade those internals from the factory.
You don’t need to tear into the motor unless you plan on being one of these kids who just sits there doing a burn out while bouncing off the rev limiter. That’s what taxes oil pump gears. I and many other people have an identical setup to the one in this video, and we don’t have/ require oil pump gears, or a crank sprocket. It’s a wide spread myth.
@@guthrie_1 You most likely don't but considering that's what Ford does on their upgraded Aluminator crate engines that are built to be boosted, it'd be a welcome peace of mind upgrade.
@@caseymurray7722 The point of his comment was he doesn’t want to have to tear into the internals if he doesn’t have to. The answer is, he does not have to.
@@guthrie_1 I understand that he doesn't need to upgrade them to be reliable. I was just saying that since it is a weaker part that is know about, it would be nice to see them upgraded on future engines, especially on performance versions like the dark horse.
@@caseymurray7722 It’s an unnecessary added expense for a production vehicle. For a purpose built race crate engine from the factory? Sure. Pass the unneeded expense to the customer. There are plenty of 1000+ horsepower builds out there running stock oil pump gears. If you are the kind of low IQ individual who likes to bang off the rev limiter and enjoys sideshows then yes you should upgrade, but I’d rather see their engines explode anyway
Moving Out! Hey Justin, you should reach out to Alex from Lund. I know he’s mentioned before that he’d Love to do show with you. I think it would be an awesome time! Once again, Bad Ass! Enjoy!

I’ve never gotten behind the wheel of my 722 WHP coyote and thought “man, if only I had more torque”. It has enough torque to make you shit your pants at 2,500 RPM.

I always thought 10 psi was max on 93 pump gas. Better always be running some octane booster if you’re going to be staying in the 12-13 lbs zone!

Did you notice worse handeling the in corners without the strut tower braces?
Oh yeah, when the tree drops, you really need to be dickin around with the hand-brake on an automatic with a brake pedal 😆😆😆
10.2 on 93 and 3.8 pulley can’t be mad at that. Car can easily go 9s on a cooler day!
Can't wait for some mine shaft air here this fall- hoping it does it! -Justin
Really hoping to do a super charger in my 2020 but was worried about the transmission, any advice brotha!?!?
Does car have wheel hop support kit?
What happened to Stephanies TT 5.0?
You haven't bought hood struts yet???
You guys should do more things with the 2011 They all forget the old Mustangs

Like what?
are we gonna see another mustang vs mustang drag race? but with this mustang :D.

Holy cow, she really squats on that launch! Great driving in that beast, Justin! Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳

No she is not. Thanks for watching! -Zach
Let's see the 14 vs 19 match at the track
Very nice! 🇺🇸

Last time I went to the track here the DA was over 5500! I wish my DA was as low as yours lol
Bullshit on the OPG. You don't need to change them unless your doing burnouts off the limiter or on a trans-brake.
AWESOME VID...PRO

Need to put it on e85! Be 9s all day!!

Steph hasn't been with AM for about 5 years now. -Zach
If you would have lowered your tire pressure to 22 psi in the rear tires it would have ran 10.0 seconds flat down the race track.
Welp…. 2014 Mach 1 it is for graduation 👩🎓 since i have a 2019 GT…..

Coyote engine? Weak points? You can’t put those words together.
Nice hp numbers but man those Coyote engines make no torque !!!

😕. I been getting S550 fever, but can’t part with my 2014 GT. Plus S550 is another 10 grand for a clean one with good options and low miles.
