Hey BB girl!!! Yeah, princes would love this but don't call me to clean the mess 😅You could make that thing you were talking about for the kitchen but use glass paints for that cuz you want that to last. This is just for fun! 💕🤗
Love it!!!! That would be a great kid project. My grandkids drive me crazy but they might have fun doing something like this. Thanks for the great idea!!! I love it!!!!!
How fun! This is one I will do this summer when my grandkids come for a weekend...they like to craft, and maybe I'll have them do it for a mothers day gift. Thanks again...
Hi Lori! Yes, it's a fun one but before you use the sealer test it with some clear Elmer's glue and food coloring. I feel like that would be the best combo. No cracks and the glue is clear. I wish I had thought of that before the video 😂 Oh well this is still fun to do! Thanks again Lori, I hope you've been feeling well and you will definitely be hearing from me soon. God bless and have fun with the grandkids! 💕🤗
You have some of the best crafting ideas on your channel. Thank you for sharing. My students love doing these during craft and their parents have wonderful things to display in their homes.
I have wanted to make stained glass windows for a long time, but have never been able to afford to. Thank you for this tutorial! I am now going to make stuff for a proposal.
This is lovely. I’m waiting for alcohol inks that I ordered and will use them instead of food coloring, but I gotta say, food coloring seems to work well, too. Thank you for sharing your work. Love your bubbly and happy voice. ❤️
That's great! If you will be leaving your piece in the sun, you must seal it with a UV protective spray or the color will fade over time. I didn't know this at the time I made this video. You can Google "UV protective sealer" and find one. Another way you could avoid this from happening would be to use glass paints instead. There's a brand called gallery glass paints from plaid that are pretty affordable. Good luck and if you do use the mod podge, don't mix to quickly to avoid cracking. Happy crafting!🎨
Oh my goodness. Thank you for this tutorial! A couple years ago, everyone was doing stained glass crosses on their doors at Easter time (with masking tape). I feel like I'd struggle with doing something more...permanent? (Something I'd have to clean off eventually...) So I have a bunch of vinyl by the yard from sewing things with windows, and I'm going to try to make one of these for each of my kids (and one for me!) and we can paint them and put them in the windows! (And then we can move them to their rooms eventually.) This is so fun.
You're welcome! Since I've made this video, I've learned of easier ways to achieve this look. This is cute temporarily. If you want something that will last and is user-friendly, use stained glass paints. Amazon sells cheap ones and they work way better than this. If you use the food coloring, it will fade in the window over time.
@@DIYNoNeedToCry Awesome, thank you for that recommendation! I have seen watered down acrylic paint as another option... I especially like the way you did the puffy paint for the lines. I will look for the stained glass paints!
Sounds like a great video for me to make! Once I find a better formula to do this faux stained glass with I'll see what I can do! Thanks for the suggestion beautiful, have a blessed day. 💖🤗
So cute! Mixing colors like this look better than the glaze pens I just experimented with. The glaze colors are too subdued. I want to try this to compare. God bless!
alright well now its time to make a whole undertale stained glass painting for my room! I love when I have motivation to do something that I will end up loving in the end
I love to hear this!! If you do use stained glass paints instead of food coloring. You can get them on Amazon for a great price. I'm working with them right now. The next video I drop will give all the details. 🙏🏼❤
Really cute and a great idea for the kids. I was wondering how u would paint it without the marker smearing. Never thought of puffy paint. Do you have to use that particular mod podge or just your preference.
Hi, peaches! I didn't come up with this technique but I've tested a few methods out and besides the cracking, this one looked the most like stained glass. I honestly think as long as it's a clear glue, you should be good. That's the only one I haven't tried and thank you! 💕🤗
Hello 👋 I used the glass from a wall clock. I honestly don't know if they sell them in pieces. I would try your local craft store and if that doesn't work, maybe you can find it online. Somewhere like Amazon or a hardware store. Also, they sell cheap glass paints on Amazon as well. It would be a lot easier than mixing the food coloring. Lastly, I'm not sure if I mentioned it in the video, but you might want to seal the finished piece with a UV protection spray so the colors don't fade after some time. I'm so glad my video inspired you!! That's awesome! Thank you dear 🙏❤🤗
Hello... Do you recommend to use real stained glass paints on glass or plastic sheets? Because I want to get the closest result to real stained glass. There are a lot of paints about it... Opaque glass paints, transparent glass paints etc.
Hello! 👋 I've never used glass paints because I can't afford them, but a lot of the crafty fam members have. They suggest the gallery glass paints. This DIY project was more for fun with the kids. So yes, although I've never used them, they come highly recommended. I'm working on getting some and making a video. Thanks for the great question! 🤗❤🙏
@@DIYNoNeedToCry You're welcome, you're very kind. I'm after the cheapest and most realistic results :) Now I will see the results when I have a chance to try. Bye.🤗
ssue I'm the one who suggested the create for less store, just spent hours looking at all the funky paints. So many new techniques. Gd thing for UA-cam to know what to do with .. 70k products, Took me days to go thru before I ordered. Lol. She's got a lot of Gd past vids on here of different tech . Happy gluing
Lovely love your sweet work keep ❤😘💕it up gal, wouldn't it quicker use more paint brushes alot of dipping and rubbing bristles, eh not having a go 😉😜we don't want to cry 😢again yet stay safe sending love and hugs 😘❤
I didn't come up with this technique but I did try a few methods and this one seemed to be the one that looks the most like stained glass (besides the cracks) but I think you could just use any clear glue with the food coloring and it would work. It might even look better if it's not a sealer because the regular glue won't crack. I did this for fun and to relax as I haven't been feeling to well and have a bunch of hard ones coming up.
Suggestion draw on one side of the glass with the marker and flip it over to outline in the puffy paint. Then you can easily remove all the ink
Such a cute project. Your cheery voice has given me a wonderful start to my day. Thank you sweetheart 🌻
Good afternoon Manuela, have a beautifully blessed day and thank you! 💖🌹🤗
I think it's neat and my daughter will have fun making a mess but as long as she's having fun, I'm in! This is cheap and fun for both of us. TFS boo!

The light shines through that really nice. Beautiful translucent colors. Thank you.
Love your energy and I will definitely do this as a class project.
I just love your personality. I look forward to each and every video.xx

Great! Make sure to seal it with a UV protection seal otherwise, it will fade over time.
What talent you have❤❤

Thank you cuz! 💕🤗
Can you send the link to the paint store you recommended when doing your owl?
Hello, I believe all the information is in the description box of the video. 🤗🙏❤
Question: Does the food coloring Modpodge color fade over time? I enjoy your videos very much, you’re a good teacher. 😊
Hello, yes they do if you leave them in the sun all the time. If you seal them with some sort UV protecting spray it might not and thank you!! 💖🤗
I would like to make one of these but much larger. Where did you purchase your glass from? Do you know if they offer glass pieces and various sizes?
I love your video and I'm super excited to make one!❤

Are you able to make clear/textured paint like actual glass paint?
I'm not sure as I never used acutal glass paints so I don't have anything to compare.
I love it
Hi LadyCruz, thank you! 💕🤗
Nice job!
Thank you! 🤗
Very cool but I have a question what the heck is puffy paint? Never heard of that in my life is there a real name for it thanks in advance
ssue you can find if at Walmart it's called puffy paint usually with the t-shirt / fabric paints
bluesky okay thank you so much I thought for sure that was like a nickname for it guess it's been a long while since I've been shopping for paints LOL

Beautiful….
Could you mix Rit Dye with Modge Podge instead of food coloring?
I don't know, but It sounds interesting! Test it out on a tester jar. I would guess that it would work.

Does it have to be the super gloss?
Could this be done on a plastic disc?
