I am a R&D Technician (Reading and Disconnect) I only came across one of these meters once and I had to change it out cause it wasn’t working, I kept it as a collectible, of all meters I’ve pulled that one is my favorite

@@williambasford2236 These and the Sangamo meters are my favorite.
Do you remember what failed? My guess is probably the voltage coil.

@@HIDLad001 It was the voltage coil, I’ve seen only 1 Sangamo, I didn’t have to pull it though unfortunately cause I wanted it as a collectible, it I have a Sangamo analog one.

This is quite interesting now knowing that older meters are restored

It’s quite a good time to start collecting meters, because of the smart meter conversions that are happening en mass. just like there are lighting, fire alarm, and traffic signal enthusiasts, there are also watthour meter enthusiasts.

Nice! It is interesting to know that in the US, there were electromechanical meters from the 1930s still in service up until about 10 or 20 years ago when they got replaced with digital smart meters

The Kh/meter constant is the number of watthours per disc revolution. Rr/register ratio has to do with gearing.
