Rare coated bulb. Most common brand for coated HPS lamps seems to be Philips. But I’ve seen one coated Sylvania ET lamp in a NEMA before.

looking at getting few of these for some indoor gardening experiments. The field counted MV lamps out long before the color corrected ones existed and I've had some great success in using these white MV lamps for garden lights. my 175W isn't quite enough anymore though

Hey i have a similar type writer but mine is from like 1981 and its electric plus its one that can erase the letters but sadly i dont have a ribbon for it (i like the Tab button on it.)

You shoulda heard my school laptop before i traded it in for a quiet one. That thing was so loud i couldnt take a test in the same room as anyone else. I woke my parents up just doing homework with it

I remember seeing a coated HPS in a nema head once, don’t remember when but I do remember. It started off as a whitish color, and I just assumed it was metal halide or mercury vapor, but then it started to gradually turn to orange and it was glowing orange like a high pressure sodium. Those coated HPS lights are rare, but I did see it once in a nema head. It was one of those ET shaped sylvania lumalux bulbs. It was definitely a high pressure sodium bulb. I also saw them a few times in like tall packs and wall packs, but I don’t usually see coated HPS lights. I probably never seen them in high wattages like yours. Usually when I see a coated HID lamp it’s either mercury vapor or metal halide. Not only is the coating rare on your HPS, but the wattage is too!

i have both a elec. and mech. typewrighter... and when i get going on either of them, it sounds like morse code.... and my gradpa was a radio man durring ww2 on a BB he gets a chuckle any time he hears it, i think he finds fun out of it, but other grandpa gets.... not so fun when he hears it... he was on the front.... he squad took fire so yeah id say he doesnt like the typewrighters .... but i mean... willy I willy o here we go....
