Very pretty area with nicely diverse scenery. Always love the geologic cirques because often times you may find a beautiful little lake nestled within. Thanks for taking me along with your awesome canine companions. Looking forward to the next jaunt. Kenny C Oregon😀

Hey, Kenny. Thanks for joining us. These mountains have three prominent cirques and lakes at the bottom of two of them. I'll be getting out to South Willow Lake sometime in the summer. July is peak wildflower season. It's spectacular! Thanks for joining the dog and I!🙂

A beautiful little lake and basin. Pretty nice view of the Salt Lake in the distance, too. Thanks for sharing!✌️

It is beautiful. This was my first time up to this lake. There is a South Willow Lake in the next basin to the south that I've camped at before. I was going to do a hike up there this year, but I've been too busy to make it happen. The Stansburys are great and I've always really liked hiking in them. Last year my wife was offered a job in the area so we moved out to the Tooele Valley, which has been great for the hiking opportunities.

What a beautiful hike! Cute hiking buddy 🐶
That looks like a juicy fishing lake.
Stay safe! Look forward to seeing more adventures this new year. 👏

This was my first time and it's really beautiful. Other than a few cows, we had the whole place to our selves, and the dogs love the hiking. The lake is pretty shallow so I'm not sure if it winter kills or not. It gets cold up there in the winter. Thanks for watching! ~ Mike

This was a nice hike and the fall colors were really nice. The Stansbury Mountains are full of surprises. I highly recommend visiting them. Some of the canyons have multiple campgrounds and dispersed camping areas close to multiple trailheads. Happy new years to you too and here's to an adventure filled 2024!🍻

So beautiful. Great mountain scenery and lake. Good thing you came across this trickle on the way for the dogs. I like using alltrails too. 👍

The Stansbury Mountains are fantastic and well worth exploring. If you ever find yourself in northern Utah, I'd highly recommend doing some hiking in the area (check out the Wasatch too, you won't be disappointed). The Stansbury mountains top out at around 11K and get a good amount of snow so there are usually trickles of water and springs that are flowing well into the fall. Thanks for watching, Nicole!
