Oh no Jennifer .. I just was looking this video to ask what's the name of that "beauty device" lol. I loved the technique but I was trying to get that stone because it's perfect to put pressure when you're using glue to with many layers. Thanks 😂😂😂😂
I binge watched a TON of your faux letter press videos the past few days, then spent most of last night having one of my best crafting escape sessions ever! I absolutely loved how wonderfully the vellum transferred the ink! Thanks for all you do, then share the magic! You're a really amazing crafter and lady! 😉
I thoroughly enjoy watching your creative mind at work. Always beautiful designs and techniques that make me happy and willing to try. Also, your tutorials are very direct and focused which is important for me to learn. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas and methods.
I use thin fabric bags filled with BBs as weights. Flat weights are great for flat items but BB bags work even when you add lots of uneven layers! Love this technique. Very cool
The cards you made are absolutely beautiful, and they seem pretty quick to make. I definitely want to try this. It’s fun discovering something new I can do with the supplies I already have. I also really like the new (and older) Gina K products you featured. Thanks so much for these great ideas!
As usual you outdid yourself! I love all the cards, and this technique has given me so much inspiration that I'm running (yep, running) to my craft room! Thanks again for putting this video together, I always appreciate the time you take to help us crafters take advantage of our ever-growing die collection!
I prefer A2 size cards and I'm glad you showed this. When I can't find a matte for the back to coordinate I ink around the edge of the white layer with dye ink. If I only have pigment in the color I heat dry it it's working really well. Thankyou for the inspiration.
Great weight! I thought long and hard about something small and heavy for this. When I had exhausted all my ideas, I asked my husband and he was like "oh yeah, we have scrap rod at work". He cut and painted me 3 different diameters of steel rod and they work perfectly! I put felt on the bottom of them to protect my surfaces. They are my favorite "gadget" in my craft room. Thanks for more ideas with this technique, I tried it years ago when I first watched you do it! You are inspiring.
Wow. This looks so professional. What a great technique. I'm definitely gonna do this today. I have a crafty friend's birthday to make a card for so I'm gonna surprise her with this way of doing a card. Thanks Jennifer. Hazel (London)
Enjoyed watching you create these beautiful cards. Your video is filled with several helpful tips in addition to how to use dies to letterpress. A must try technique. Thank you for all your inspiration.
Oh my goodness! So many amazing possibilities with this fantastic technique. Thank you SO much for creating and sharing this video with us, Ms. McGuire! 🌿 ☀️ ♥️
Love your videos. You always surprise with beautiful technique regardless if new or old. So happy Yana posted a short video. I pray for her safety every day.
This is an awesome technique and I can't wait to try it. Dies that haven't been used in a while are definitely going to see some action. There are so many possibilities with this! Thank you!🥰
Hi Jennifer. Thank you for this awesome technique. You always come up with the coolest ways to stretch your supplies. I so love the look that this gives. And your cards..... BEAUTIFUL! ❤️
Ooooo I can just see some masculine cards with this technique. Maybe on wood grain cardstock in back. Endless possibilities. So cool. Thanks Jennifer! I really love this technique as your cards are fabulous!
This for sure is one of the easiest ways of making beautiful cards you have shared.. thanks from a Newbie who has followed you for years too scared to copy you… but this time I think I might be able to do this… Debbie
Cool technique on the first half. I have been in rehab just shy of 2 yrs. Most my supplies are at home that I can’t go too. Waiting for handicap home. I can’t wait. I have learned so much while here but I am lacking in supplies. Thank you 💜
Thank you so much for showing us another technique. It's always great to learn different ways of using what products you already have in your craft stash. I think that you're a great instructor and really explain things well. The cards are beautiful. Thank you 🙏. I look forward to trying this technique.
I've been going through my pastel pattern paper to use for card frames and they might work well with this technique. Thanks for the new tutorial, I forgot about this. Your cards are all so pretty.🌷🌷
Thank you Jennifer for the letter press method that doesn't require any additional tools. I love the look, but Better press is not in the budget. Beautiful cards!
Jennifer, This is a beautiful look to design a card. I’d really like to try it, and it uses supplies on hand. Gina’s products are really lovely. She’s so creative in the products her company brings out! Thanks for sharing this technique! 💌
Basically, you’re using thickness to emboss and vellum to stamp your die cuts. Doubly brilliant!! Triply brilliant to add mirror image by putting your vellum on the top or bottom of the stack!!! Cool, cool, cool! 😎
Wow! This is fantastic!! It actually looks fairly easy too! I even have some of the Gina K products you used here. I think this technique would be beautiful for a sympathy card too. TYFS! ❤️🦋💜
Love these techniques Jennifer! I've been out of town and just saw this tonight. Going to my craft space bright and early to give all of this a try. Thank you!
I am so glad there is more uses for dies. I would like to know if I have a die that is open with flowers and leaves how doing a letterpress do you color it? Is there a way of coloring before the press or after? Do you have a set of steps you do?
Really beautiful! I'm making Easter cards right now so these ideas are really appreciated. Can you do this kind of inking with embossing folders or just your dies too?
What are you using to put pressure on your glued die cuts, the blue block
a friend sent it to me, it is just a sample of a countertop. something heavy works. :)
@@jennifermcguireink i have that countertop!!!! lol
