RE: the 1970s TV commercial for detergent showing kids actually rolling around in the dirt - the equivalent ad in today's Woke & Wimpy World: the ad showing a 7-year-old girl in Supergirl cape, scratching her arm because of allergic reaction to Brand X laundry soap.
Of all the animals to keep in a cage, birds are the cruelest to do that to. Something's off about bird owners as well, they're weirder than reptile owners.
