Thank you all SO much for the encouragement! ❤ I also wanted to add something. I look really cool on that last machine (abdominal crunch), but I am on the lowest weight. 😂 However! When I first began a few weeks ago, I couldn't even start the exercise because pulling it forward when it is all the way back is SO hard. I always needed help to get started. Now, I am doing it MYSELF! 🙌 #Progress Next step, increase the weight... Eventually. 😅
Chronically Jaquie everybody has to start somewhere! It’s so great to see that you’ve made so much progress with your health, I really hope it helps other chronic illness warriors keep up hope 💕
We all really think you will rock it, because you can stay positiv in bad situations but now you’re not in that „bad“ situation and can push your self to accomplish your aims. I believe in you, we believe in you❤️🍀
this makes me so happy! exercising has helped my eds and pots so much, so i hope it can have such positive effects on you as well. and you’re right-the ab crunch machine is really difficult to get started! i’m so proud you’ve already been gaining strength and confidence in the gym!!
I have been following for the past year and it's unbelievable how you changed for the better!! The gym is an incredible feat for everyone. So happy for your progress!! Thank you for sharing a little bit of your life with your audience!
I used to watch your videos pretty much daily but have had a break from youtube for a few months now and honestly the improvement you've made is amazing! Even just looking at you sitting chatting you look so much healthier! Am really proud of how far you've come. I think I have a lot of videos to catch up on :P
Such a wonderful change to see. Thank you for sharing! I’m a personal trainer so it’s amazing to see a chronic illness warrior training like you. God bless :) x
This makes me so happy to see, you have had some tough times since I started watching this channel and you have come so far since then. I hope the exercise helps you in the long run with your symptoms and I'm glad you have treatments now that are working for you. 😊
I have a special work out plan at my gym. And recently I changed the plan. They were so kind and always made sure I had no pain whilst using the machine! I always make sure I can go with a friend, that way you can help and motivate each other! Love you’re video’s and the already amazing progress you’ve made! Keep on going! You are amazing and my inspiration!
I'm so happy you've found a POTS friendly personal trainer!! I have been searching for many years but no one gets it!! So frustrating!! But I stoked you've found someone to work with xx
Good on you!!! Starting PT was also such a game changer for me. I love it and the feeling of accomplishment from doing something semi normal. You can do the smallest things and work up which means so much variety and room for improvement. I’m so happy for you!!
Congratulations on your achievements! You are looking so much better and happier. So happy for you. Though my chronic illness and pain are from very different issues than yours, you inspire me so much. Thank you for sharing your life, adventures, achievements and struggles. I caught myself just a few days ago when I had a bad day thinking "Keep Moving Forward" then I realized where that came from and I had to smile. Like I said, you are such an inspiration. 💙💚💛❤💜
I’m so proud of you Jaquie!! Your doing so well and we can see your improvements and I’m sure you can feel them. I can’t believe how far you have come with your treatment and management of your chronic illness and you truely are an inspiration. I now have the motivation to get back to the gym, even if it is less than everyone else is doing, it is still something!
Hi from Australia ! Jaquie, I love how you celebrate life each day, and don't let your illnesses steal too much of your "normal" life. I was diagnosed with dysautonomia this year after a syncopal attack and a nasty fall. I have being doing physio for 8 months, and hope that I will soon get my walk back. Like you, I have found that doing by physio exercises lying down or seated, lets my body relax and I can focus on the exercise and not so much on staying upright or my pain ! Fortunately, I don't suffer too much from heat intolerance and thus I have successfully started hydrotherapy in recent weeks. Being in the pool, I can do "vertical" exercises without the fear of falling over. But I am still working on my fear of drowning! :) Next on my to do list was getting back to the gym... I guess I don't have any excuses now!
One of your videos from last year popped up on my feed today, and you look so much healthier now. You seem to be at a healthier weight, you're brighter, you just seem happier. Good for you :)
hi, I love your videos. I do not have any illness that stops me for doing things like exercise but I still find your videos so motivation because it is like "if she can do it with all she has going on, surely I can too" so thank you for that :)
This is amazing to see! I’m so pleased you’re doing well. I’ve recently started swimming which I’m really enjoying too. It’s helping me so much mentally and with my health.
I'm just watching this squealing away at how cute, adorable, endearing, and every other word this is. It was so touching and your Trainer seems really nice and understand you need assistance on some machines for safety!
Great news Jacque!! There are gyms just for people with neurological disabilities. They are called activity based neuro training. You check out Stay in Step In Tampa too. So happy for you!
Jaquie I’m an occasional viewer (pop in once in awhile), and you look really good! It’s so great to hear that you’re feeling well enough to start going to the gym!
This video makes me so happy. You look so fit and healthy. What a difference from your last hospital stay! You should take a lot of credit for the accomplishments you have made. You are so on top of your medical conditions and your treatments even though it appears so complicated. I am very impressed with you. You are truly an inspiration.
congrats Jaquie!!! You're doing great! it doesn't matter how it looks outside, it's how it empowers you. I am so happy to see you feeling better and excercising!
That gym looks amazing. I haven’t watched your videos regularly in a while (tbh I haven’t watched UA-cam regularly in a while) but I can tell you’ve put on weight since I last saw and it’s so amazing to see. I need to go back and watch what I’ve missed because I clearly missed some amazing progress. I hope this isn’t weird because obviously I don’t know you personally but I’m really proud. So happy that you’re doing better :)
Awesome! So happy for you. I am struggling with exercise at the moment. No matter how light I am down for days. Finding the right balance is hard, especially when energy/shape is different every day. Good job going to the gym! ❤
You have come so far Jaquie! I'm in awe of your health improvements since I started following you. I know you still have many struggles, but to see you and Harlow, working out in a gym, is just throwing. You Go Girl! 😁🐱👍💕
You look so much healthier than u did a year ago Jackie you’ve improved so much and u looked so happy being able to exercise and ur personal trainer seems lovely
I'm so proud if you and really look up to you because of how you handle everything and now you can exercise. I hope I can get there soon after my new port is in. Now that its getting colder I'm feeling better pots wise but my joints don't like it lol. Keep it up congrats :)
I am so happy for you! You are so amazing. I have RA, and I weight train 6 days a week and have a personal trainer. I have found if I don't lift, I have many more flair ups. Best of luck with your training. It appears your trainer has the most important thing in mind-you!
Hey Jacquie, I'm super happy you're getting back into active workouts that you love! I absolutely think your doctors and personal trainer will know best, but as for cardio (if you are interested) I don't know if your gym has this machine but I've seen it in gyms. It's like a bike... But for your arms. Not a rowing machine. Just.... hand pedals? You're seated in the machine, the machine can provide resistance (or not) and it's not like a treadmill where you have to wait for it to slow down, you go your own pace, more like an elliptical. Hope that information is helpful in some way. :)
I'm so glad you have achieved this. I personally hate the environment of a gym because I feel like other people judge me for my lack of fitness. I love cycling outside though - I do about 10 km a day :)
I could honestly cry because of how happy I am for you! Keep up the progress and keep that optimism and fighting. Your physical and medical progress is mind blowing!
Oh my goodness!! I'm tearing up this is amazing! I'm not able to do this yet but I'm glad when I am that you are an inspiration. Thank u! Awesome job!!
This is so amazing to see! I am glad you are feeling so much better that you can get back into the gym and start exercising. I'm sure building more muscles must help with your joints. Have you noticed a difference yet?
I’m joining the gym too! I’m a little scared because my body is a bit bigger than normal due to being bed bound on medication for over 6 months. But I’m buy 10 sessions today to make sure I can do it before I get a full membership. But I’m excited
I just went to the gym today for the first time in three years! I have EDS too and I know exercise can help but it's def hard when you're really sick. I'm happy you're able to work out again! #EDSWarriors
So proud of you and this is had encouraged me to start exercising again. I used to be a full time dancer I did ballet five days a week and I’m not able to even dance for five minutes because of my POTS and EDS. But I think that with improvement from exercise maybe I can take up a dance class again
Harlow is just a big teddy bear she kinda reminds me of Levi from Sue Thomas FBeye. Both dogs are very smart and very social, I’m proud that you are getting to the gym, your a inspiration to everyone, and I just want to say that your awesome I hope you have a great day
I have a autoimmune disease called Anklosing Spondylitis which pretty much is my body creating to much antibodies which attack my spine (ow!) so I am immune suppression medicine to prevent further damage to my spine ( some damage has already been done) I have to take injections for the rest of my life so I don’t become crippled ( my spine would fuse together) you are such a strong person and I admire your strength and courage! Subscribed!!
So glad you've improved enough to start going to a gym regularly! I'm curious, do you find this easier or harder than the PT that you did before (at home if I remember correctly)?
I am so happy for you!! It looks like a really big improvement for you, even with the supplemental feeds and IVs. In the past few days I was traveling with my grandma, and I pushed myself a lot to walk the whole day. In some days I have walked more than 2km, and without considering a lot of stairs. It was really hard and I felt pain, but it was worth it. I don't have any chronic disease or something, I am just a lazy person, but I felt really happy! (Also, my gastritis is taking a break for me, in some days I didn't even had to take my meds, and I was really really happy about it! Six months ago the pain was really hard, and now I am improving in this aspect, and I just felt that I had to write it down because I am really proud of myself, I don't care if I sound stupid, it is a big deal for me)
💪 I'm so proud of you! You'll find that the mental benefits are AWESOME! I am really hoping i can go back soon, stupid routine mind. I'm happy it's not just me that doesn't sweat, if I'm having a day where i can push myself i will but sometimes its just about moving and clearing my mind. Cardio isn't really my thing and gotta watch out for that motion sickness!
Wow you've come such a long way! I hope I can do the same, I've started prolotherapy to help reduce dislocations. I would be so happy if I could see this kind of progress. I have cEDS and just getting out of bed hurts.
Loved this!!!!! I was wondering, maybe you could make a video (or include it into another video) how you feel about bringing your service animal into the gym? I have a service animal for psychiatric reasons (one including anxiety) and I just feel like I would be so embarrassed and anxious to bring my service animal into the gym with me, but I know he could help to keep me grounded. I don’t go to the gym because of anxiety and my service animal could help. So maybe you could talk a little bit about this? I know you probably don’t even think about it, but could you possibly talk about it if you have time? Love you Jaquie! (And Harlow 😘)
Try just visiting the lot and walk there if you can do it safely, another day just walk inside and slowly work up your comfort zone as it helps your SD and you. This allows you and other to work on where and how you want to be when going out. Also take to the director/owner by phone first, you may be pleasantly surprised. I live by trying to let go, let God and let love happen. It will work out, prayers to you and stay hopeful.

True. Movement heals the body in many ways
Harlow at the gym is just the sweetest thing and I’m so happy you’re able to achieve your goals.

So happy for you!!! You give me so much hope. We’ve got many of the same diagnoses. So grateful for you sharing your journey.
I’m glad you ‘re doing well enough to exercise. I feel inspired.

Harlow is just a big teddy bear she kinda reminds me of Levi from Sue Thomas FBeye. Both dogs are very smart and very social, I’m proud that you are getting to the gym, your a inspiration to everyone, and I just want to say that your awesome I hope you have a great day
Good for you girlie 🙌💖🙌 Yay , big step ❣️
it's so nice you are able to work out!! i miss that so much... still too weak to get back at it but i'll keep looking forward! :D

Wow Jaquie, you look so cool and STRONG! Also, cute sweater!
Such great progress! yeah!!!!!
GO JAQUIE GOOOO!!! 💜💜💜
Wow you've come such a long way! I hope I can do the same, I've started prolotherapy to help reduce dislocations. I would be so happy if I could see this kind of progress. I have cEDS and just getting out of bed hurts.
