These updates are not only how I found your channel, but why I subbed. This is such a needed thing in an ocean of uncritical or even sponsored reviews.
I trust him, too. And like you guys say, a trustworthy, honest reviewer is hard to find in this day and age. I’ve actually bought a couple of things based on his reviews, and haven’t been disappointed.
I just wanted to say, I've been watching for seven or eight years now and I'm still to this day excited to see what you've reviewed and especially how the products have stood the test of time. I've both found products I'm interested in through your content and searched to see your views on a product before purchasing. I do not watch any other reviewers on youtuber and It's a testament to your professionalism and honesty. That trust is well earned so, thank you James!
That was really thorough. Thank you for making fair and entertaining reviews. Even if most of the products are not things I'd ever use, I really enjoy your reviews.
I'm sure there are times you forget, but it's great that you often remember to take footage when you're out at a game or something. It's quick and short, but I like the added touch.
My PowerXL works awesome. 6 months old and I use it numerous times per week. I do find buying bags works so much easier than using the roll. I think that's probably where the bad reviews come from. Getting the curled edge from the roll properly inserted can be a pain. But bags with a flat edge are so easy.
something about this channel is so deeply comforting and these videos often help me get out of UA-cam scrolling holes 🤙 thanks brah, keep doin what you're doin
Easy homemade "Paper Towel Topper" is to use an old CD / CD-R and make the hole bigger, it took me only about 10 minutes, and that includes the setup to use the Dremel. 😎 (if you need to, use a knife to scratch/score the side that is against the towel for more friction)
Doing update videos 1 year later is really what sets your channel apart. You already do great product review videos but updating 1 year later? Genius, and desperately needed.
Sealing a phone would be a great use of the sealer. Perfect for the beach or something to keep phone ready for use and would probably still respond to touch if you don't want to break the seal. Might also be worth trying if phone got wet and you vacuum seal with rice for a couple days to try and remove moisture because you don't want to buy yet another phone or deal with warranty... shouldn't hurt anything even if it doesn't do much good. Great updates! 🍻🌎❤️🎶🕺
I love the one year updates. The Rockpals doesnt seem to be available any longer, at least on AMZ. I still cant justify the 3x price of the chefpro thermometer but Im getting there and I bought the shark vacuum on the basis of your review.
I purchased the Nutrisealer after seeing your original review and I love it. I replaced a Food Saver sealer and am happy I did. No problems whatsoever.
Have you thought about doing a video of products from Daiso? There is one in the Target on Stephanie/Sunset, lots of neat stuff at the Japanese dollar store, much better quality than Dollar Tree or Five Below
The powerbank looks perfect for camping, or summer backyard movies. Charge peoples phones, maybe use a projector for a great movie experience. Popcorn maker, etc.
I have the powerXL sealer, I’ve had it for about 9 months and it’s still good as new. Much easier than my original food saver, especially for liquids or bags that are very full. I love being able to hold it in the air while using it.
My alternative method to vacuum seal stuff is place the stuff in a ziploc bag, stick a metal straw in the corner, and suck out the air by mouth... Though at 1c for square foot of high quality Costco shrinkwrap, I try to opt for that as often as possible...
I bought the amazon version of the road light maybe a month before your review and honestly they are still going even after being ran over multiple times and being tossed around roughly. Definitely have been a life saver while working on a vehicle on the side of the road.
I got a set of those flares off amazon, but from another company. The batteries are a huge PIA to get to. They do have a magnet on the back though, which is helpful when the power goes out; I can stick one on my fridge and illuminate the kitchen.
I make my own dog food and I use a sealer I got at Costco. I think they are a great products. When COVID happened I would do all my parents shopping so I would seal meats in two person services and freeze it and bring food to them on the weekends.
I mean, shit, as someone in central MN having a few of those warning lights could come in handy when youre on the side of the road stranded come winter. Im curious how visible they are in a WHITE out condition (us scandavians/polish PLUS the snow)!
one more update i'd like to see for the rockpal is charging it at 100% and you checking on the charge once a week or once a month then reporting back. Cause some people may use it for emergency situations and that longevitiy of holding a charge is important.
When I was underground mining ( a confined area and loud) 'Skull Screws' worked exceptional for me for noise reduction. They were purchased at an Industrial supplier, Acklands Grainger, and the box lasted me about a year, it was worth it as the mine free supplied ones were garbage IMO.
i got the eargasms and was worried about pushing wax further into my ears. thanks for what you said. just ordered some of the vibes so i can see how they are. thanks for your videos
IMO a whisk should be able to whip cream or make meringue if you're willing to put enough elbow grease into it. Whenever you try a whisk I think "That's not why you need a whisk even though a whisk is better than a fork". A whisk can make a meringue or whipped cream given enough elbow grease so anything claiming to replace a whisk needs to be able to also or else you will find yourself in need if you want to do those things without some electric beaters or a stand mixer.
Huh, I bought one of those tomato slicers after watching your video and mine works great. The one I bought didn't come with the handles, it just looks like a hair clip and it works great. I have one where you slide the tomato into a blade but I've cut the tip of my finger before, just the skin, didn't bleed, so I got some cut proof gloves and a friend was cutting tomatoes at my house with the gloves and they damaged the blade! The hair clip I think works better.
Love your reviews bro ❤ You're like the Ron Popeil of As Seen On TV. No wait.. Ron Popeil was the Ron Popeil of As Seen On TV. Lol. So you must be the Ron Popeil of Amazon 👍
I wish I would have seen a one-year update of the Purple hybrid mattress!! I may not have purchased it then. Seems like the purple grid loses it's form after a year (already replaced it once under warranty).
RE Nostalgia breakfast cooker..TBC there really are people who do not have a full kitchen with stove or oven. Those people can access electricity however, and I think the product would be good in that kind of situation.
I have a shark robot vacuum, it’s really good with animal and people hair. We all have long hair and it does wrap around the roller but it all gathers in the middle of the roller so it’s easy to cut off and pull out.
Hi, relatively new viewer here, I watched the whole vid but kept getting distracted during the nostalgia bacon press when I would see that pair of togs that look like a wisk. I was wondering what that product is, if it is still available, and what your thoughts on it are. Also, I am sorry for posting it so early in the morning.
@@kennethanway7979 The comment was made to make fun of the inverted twirl fork. I like twirling them as well, but transferring them to a spoon I was never good at.
I loved my Power XL vacuum sealer the first 5 or 6 times I used it. Then it stopped working, it seemed to be a problem with the electronics. I contacted them and returned it following, to the letter, their instructions emailed to me for the return. That was in August 2022 . I received an email saying my return had been received. That was the end of that. No replacement, no refund, and no response to emails from me since.

The one year updates are my favorite. it really shows the durability of the items.

Thank you for doing these long-term updates. Yours may be the only channel that does such follow-ups.
Great follow up video.
Particularly the flair test.
Those things being for emergency won't get charged often, so absolutely smart to test that!
I bought the Shark Stratos because of your original review and I absolutely love it. It’s the best vacuum I’ve ever owned
Hands down the best review channel. Honest, concise and excellently delivered information.
My cats were very concerned when you demonstrated the sealer. Looks like a good product.
My sealer was junk. Didn't even last 6 months
That was really thorough. Thank you for making fair and entertaining reviews. Even if most of the products are not things I'd ever use, I really enjoy your reviews.
love these updates, they really separate you from the rest. keep up the great work!
I'm sure there are times you forget, but it's great that you often remember to take footage when you're out at a game or something. It's quick and short, but I like the added touch.
THAT is dedication, sitting outside in the desert, in the summer, watching TV.
My wife and I love your videos. We put them on after work sometimes and fall asleep to your soothing voice. Thank you Review Daddy.
I really love the updated videos. Great job on this one. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the video and taking time to go back to last years gadgets.
Love the Tesseract shirt!
The solar panels and the backup battery was what I looking for!
Thanks for doing these reviews!! You've saved me a LOT of money!!
Man watching your videos are so soothing for some reason.
I love these update videos!! My paper towel disc cracked the same way but it still works.
thank you to share with the team and me.

Dang the light one was the true test most people put them in the car and forgot them. So good to know they can last at least a year.
Love these update videos. Can't wait to see the next one.

the spy pen video has a certain aesthetic to it, would make a great horror film! just makes everything look creepy haha
I appreciate what you do on your channel 👍
I got the twist whisk after seeing the original video. Really like it for sauces in my non-stick skillet!
Love the updates
I love the paper towel topper. Bought mine last year and still use it every day
Updates are almost my favourite kind of videos you do!
thanks, James - much appreciated update.

I have actually sealed my phone with my vacu seal and it worked great. I was also able to still use the phone while it was sealed.

Lol, I've binge watched your channel over a couple of weeks, and you don't seem to age!! Which product does this?!
I purchased the Nutrisealer after seeing your original review and I love it. I replaced a Food Saver sealer and am happy I did. No problems whatsoever.
Thank you so very much. Love your reviews.
That reaction when you said: ah, the paper towel is still dry 😂

couldn't stop noticing in the final toughts you said 59.

It a hair party in here lol I love Bailey in the videos

I bought the Shark vacuum and it's fantastic! We have pets and the fur gets picked up without causing any issues with the vacuum.
love the vols shirt in the phoozy review, was awesome what the school did for that kid

Winter is so awful in Michigan. Even if it wasn't cold, there's only sun 1 day a week for about 1 hour. Usually it's just dark for 4 months 😢

How many whisks and spatulas does this man need!!! JK
FYI the Amazon road fares now come as a usb-c option too.
Rockpals has never failed me. I also have a Jackery which works okay but a lot more expensive.
I bought a sealer from Temu and i really like it. It came with the bags and you can reuse the bags.
The bacon cooking device would keep from have bacon grease splattered all over the kitchen makes for easier cleanup
I have one of those sealers and through I do have some issues it's usually at my own fault. I enjoy it a lot.
Let's be honest, the majority of people will mostly use a power station in the summer for camping and outdoor events!
