Low light shots/ night shots: Gcam
It's important to note that "stock GCam" can be tweaked and customized so much that it's hard to know what he's comparing. With the proper XML profile you can make it look exactly how you want. It definitely looks to me that he needed to changed the sensor white balance settings and color.
6:04 m actually surprised by this shot details r well maintained in stock than Gcam😅
But it's dynamic range is not better than g cam and has blue tint on it and g cam is wayy sharper and more details natural
Selfies are where gcam really shines

Stock x3 Pro cam is quite good but Gcam is best for low light shots especially night shots but everytime I try to import settings it crashes
I felt that the stock cam was so much better except in super low light conditions,, that's when the gcam shines!
Exactly my thoughts. i was surprised when he mentioned that everyone should use gCam. I thought the stock game made better pictures instead in low light environment
5:30 ok but futher? 5:36? i would say stock is much better than gcam unless it is possible to change some settings and it would be the other way around. In the movie in low light especially in very low light like in this 5:36 stock is much better, I see a lot more details in stock camera in this scenario
Nightsight and potrait aswell as selfies gcam reign supreme like usual
This 48mp cam is no slouch for $199 phone
I don't know if my tastes are changing, or if you got a miscalibrated gcam, but I prefer the stock cam for all but the most challenging lighting.. Which doesn't happen often!
Xiaomi clearly has improoved his photo app, I still prefer gcam most of low light, but sometime the stocks is better. Gcam also has a halo problem on lights in the dark.
gcam photos were way off. Probably didn't use any xml. The real thing is way better.
Gcam did show a lot more detail on the skin but the colors on the stock camera has best coloring
you can cranck up saturation on the settings btw

I feel like you didn't configure the gcam right. Try finding a few xmls by other people and test it again
So Xiaomi enables camera2api by default in this and newer phones? Why other Xiaomi phones have it on limited then?
Stock camera looks great for ambient shots, and gcam works well with the selfie camera and low light photos! Also I need to know what gallery this is!
what about moving subjects? one of Gcam's big draw is ZSL.

I don't know, I think I prefer the stock warmer tones.
it looked like the cropping on gcam was different. till recognised the camera subject relation had changed coz you had to switch apps. very duh moment for me.
I thought the x3 camera showed the floors better and had better colouring, i really tried to see what you did but i think the gcam app ruined a lot of photos. I guess we all like what we like. Thank you for the video as it helped me decide.

Their software is definitely getting better on the the stock cam but the selfies need more work, it's overexposed most of the time.
wow great comparison! tbh gcam is far more superior than the stock camera. more sharper and wider selfie photos. i really like the natural color in gcam. keep it up! love from malaysia 💕

The Pro has far better camera hardware. Should be the only choice in that comparison if all you're looking at is cameras.

Yup it works really good just the problem I faced with gcam was while taking videos n selfies but the main lens works so good
@@harshitlathar5403 Hi. You have a x3 pro, right? How is your Battery? Mine is going fast down the % line, I also have about 20% cell standby in the battery menu. When the phone (screen) is turned off and in medium safe mode, it is ok but not great. I use the screen in 120Hz mode. I came from a Samsung M30s with a 6000 NiMH Battery where I charged the phone every 5 days with medium usage and with the poco x3 pro 1,5 to 2 days with light medium usage. When I use the screen it is going fast down. I tryed the 60Hz mode, it is slower draining the battery than in 120Hz mode but still more than I would like. I have the phone for about a week now.
@@vladrogonja2012 yes I did felt like my phones battery drains faster but like after a usage of a week it felt like it's getting better I don't no how but yes it did improve I just keep it on 60 hz and dark mode and I was able to kill it within a day and by like 10 pm it was still on 23 percent last day even after watching 1080p anime for like 4 hrs it was standing fine if I could I would send u my screen time) peace

yeah .. gcam is useless since version 7.3
Because the saturated colours of the stock cam.. but if you try to edit these two images you can definitely feel which camera output have more advantage to edit..
Also this is not a good gcam.. some gcams are much better than this gcsm..

I just utilize pro mode and get good quality shots with the stock
There's no benefit to be using gcam unless you enable the hdr+ enhanced
The video stabilizer is much more powerful than all the average Samsung phones so far

@@the_nryn just download the Snap or eng version, they are named differently so they can be compatible with different UI, like OneUI or OxygenOS.
