- Bernarda calls to Ernestina, aunt of Emilio, if she does know, where Emilio could be. Unfortunately, even aunt Ernestina knows nothing. When Teresa asks, why Bernarda is so worried about Emilio, she replies, it is because Emilio was so close to Isabel. Rudy came to the street, where Emilio's flat in eastate is and where Manuela waits for him. Manuela tells him briefly, that Emilio is dead, she touched him and his blood made her hand dirty. Rudy leaves Manuela at the street and wants to look in the flat. But unfortunately, the doorkeeper and the landlord makes telephone call and gives the officer the description of young lady with long blond hair. Rudy immediately returns to Manuela and orders her to move from the scene as soon as possible. Teresa, Fernando and Gabriela talks about Emilio, whose absence is weirder by the minute. Bernarda serves the coffee and topic turns about Bernarda's motherhood of Isabel. Gabriela has point, that Isabel would had never admitted Bernarda being her mother. Mariana and Elisa talk about their relationships. While Mariana's relationship with Antonio is over and Mariana is thinking, where to live and how quickly move from the flat from Antonio, Elisa feels, that there is no place in the universe, where she can be alone with Rudy without Manuela or at least shadow of her. Dorothy and Rudy suggests Manuela to move to Caňada Seca as soon as possible, because when somebody will tell the description to the Fernando, he could inform the police against Manuela. Manuela denies to flee, she wants to stay and defend herself, if necessary. Manuela also feels, that her search of Isabel Salinas, Fernando's sterility and murder of Emilio is somehow related to each other. Bernarda comes to open the door and let judge Aguirre come in. Judge Aguirre tells Fernando, Teresa, Gabriela and Bernarda the shocking news. Emilio Acosta was murdered and police investigates the crime. Teresa and Gabriela are shocked, and Fernando asks the details. Judge Aguirre tells Fernando, that Emilio was murdered by dagger, stiletto or hairpin. When Bernarda asked for coffee for judge Aguirre, she faints. Mercedes tries to persuade Manuela to travel immediately to Caňada Seca. Rudy doesn't consider it as good idea, because Caňada Seca is the first place, where the police forces will search for Manuela. Mercedes blames Fernando Salinas for all bad, what is happening to Manuela. Manuela wants her mother to think through the words. Cella brings the bad news to the kitchen, to Felisa and Lorenzo. All the domestic staff is shocked as well. The murder has no economic background, because no valuable belongings or money disappeared from Emlio's flat. Cella thinks, that finally, on the other world, Isabel and Emilio are together. Meanwhile, Isabel is sitting in her rocking chair. Anais/Isabel visits Bernarda in her bedroom, when Bernarda is resting on her bed. Bernarda is shocked and asks and reporaches Anais/Isabel, why she prepared such a tragic end for Emilio. Anais/Isabel tells Bernarda, that Emilio ment danger and was obsolete person for her. Bernarda continues with her speech towards Anais/Isabel, but she shows no emotions unless Fernando comes. In that moment, Anais fakes profound sorrow. Teresa and Gabriela talk about Emilio. Teresa doesn't want any bad news or circumstances in her life anymore. When Gabriela asks Teresa, why she and Emilio had never any romance, Teresa reminds Gabriela, that Emilio, during his entire life, had eyes only for Isabel. Marcia and Mariana talk about who could kill Emilio. They change their opinions. Suddenly, Antonio comes and orders Marcia to cancel his journey to Paris. It makes Mariana happy a little bit. Judge Aguirre, the investigation team, aunt Ernestina and Fernando are present in Emilio's flat. Fernando tries to calm down Ernestina and judge Aguirre ask her to accompany him to Emilio's bedroom due to reviewing important documents. When Fernando is left alone in the living room, he grabs one of Isabel's photos and hides it within his suit and leaves Emilio's flat. Mercedes tells the news to Art and she tells him, that Manuela found Emilio's cadaver. Art tries to calm Mercedes down and suggests Manuela to stay in Buenos Aires. He succeeds in calming down Mercedes as well. Teresa makes phone call with Marcello, when Gabriela comes to Teresa's bedroom. When the call is over, Teresa tells Gabriela, that Marcello bought hotel in Portofino and wants Teresa to visit him. Gabriela recommends Teresa to go, but she also feels, that something very bad will occur, when resolving the murder of Emilio. Fernando came to the library with the stolen photo. When he explores the picture frame, he finds audio tape on the back of the photo frame. He puts the audio cassette into dictaphone and plays it. And the cassette starts "I'm Isabel Guerrero de Salinas..."
