Luisa replies, that many troubles of the family wasn't caused by Salinas'. Rudy wants to reunite with Elisa, who is very reluctant to him. After a while, Elisa shows more feelings for Rudy and even smiles. Art, who resides at Dorothy's flat, talks to her about his career. The talk is interrupted by Renata, who brought fresh sausage. When Dorothy wants Renata to stay, she leaves because of Art. The talk between Art and Dorothy turns into Art's relation with Mercedes. Mercedes confesses herself to father José and tells him, that she did many sins, because she got involved with younger man and the man wasn't honest with her. Father José gives Mercedes the shrift. Teresa, who is pregnant and can't sleep properly, talks to Lorenzo and asks if Fernando and Manuela are woken up. They aren't and Lorenzo leaves. Leopoldo appears and talks to Teresa, he wants to pacify with her and Teresa tells him, she is tired of him. Leopoldo explains, that if he does any harm to Teresa, it is unwanted. But if Teresa can help him to control himself, it will solve a lot of problems. Carlotta argues with Luisa and wants to prevent her departure even with physical violence. In the middle of the conflict, Mercedes appears and when Luisa tells Mercedes, what's going on, Mercedes agrees with Luisa. Luisa is mature woman and has to decide by herself, not by desires of other people, even if it is desire of the mother. Felisa brings package for Teresa in her bedroom. Fernando is waiting for Manuela to leave Salinas' residence and move into Sestriere. He talks to Teresa and he repeats her the order to fire Bernarda. Teresa agrees, she will fulfill this order. Manuela and Gabriela are in bedroom and Gabriela is happy, because Manuela looks happy and feels good with Fernando again. When Manuela and Gabriela go downstairs, Fernando repeats to everyone in the house his orders to be done during his and Manuela's absence. Cella and Felisa talk in kitchen. They are having free time. When Lorenzo appears, he orders them to do, what they were told to do. Both ladies are resistant to Lorenzo, who remembers them, he is new majordomo. When Cella leaves the kitchen, Felisa tells Lorenzo, he shouldn't be so strict and tough as Bernarda was. Manuela and Fernando moved into Sestriere to the point, where they should meet with Marcello. But Marceloo is nowhere to be found. Manuela asks Fernando questions. How does Marcello look, what they will do, if Marcello won't appear. Fernando doesn't know, what to do, becase he doesn't know the address of Marcello. Manuela and Fernando move in near restaurant to eat and drink. Lorenzo spots Bernarda, who still stays in Salinas' residence. Bernarda behaves like if she still is the majordomo. Lorenzo tells Bernarda, she is no longer the majordomo and she is unwanted person in the house. Bernarda starts to argue with Lorenzo, that she has to show respect to Bernarda and that she will never accept his orders. Teresa appears upstairs and asks, what's going on. Mariana, in Elisa's flat, prepares herself for the visit of Antonio. It seems, Mariana wants Antonio to feel convenient in the house. Teresa asks, what does the noise in the main hall means. Bernarda tells Teresa, she doesn't accept Lorenzo as her successor. Teresa reminds Bernarda, that her time in the residence is up and she can stay as result of good will of Teresa and Fernando. Bernarda counter attacks and tells, she will stay, until Fernando fires her personally. Teresa orders to return keys of the home and the key of Isabel's bedroom as well. Lorenzo is ordered to pick the key from Bernarda's bedroom. Teresa leaves and the reading from eyes shows, there's open hostility between Bernarda and Lorenzo.
