Aunt Gabriela checks the preparation of the meal for the party. which will be held next day. When finished, Gabriela leaves and Manuela appears and orders Lorenzo, that if Bernarda won't collect her belongings and furniture in next week, Teresa makes telephone call with Marcello, she explains, why she left Sestrierre so quick. Unless Marcello finishes his divorce with his wife Anna, Teresa won't interfere in his life. Gabriela makes phone call in order to visit Emilio, but he is away. Luisa brings Gabriela coffee, which she ordered in kitchen. Luisa feels, that Manuela is finally happy with Fernando. Gabriela has doubts, her tarrots showed her, that there's big trouble coming ahead. Lilian, owner of the bar, where Celeste works, wants Leopoldo to play on regular basis, so he wants to make deal with him. Manuela talks with Fernando the last details of the party. Fernando leaves to his office but on the hall, Manuela stops him and asks him which dress she should choose. It is pretence for intimate farewell. Anais/Isabel secretly watches this scene, and it makes her mad.Fernando is about to leave the residence, but Teresa stops him and tells him, she heard Manuela make telephone call, in which she invites Rudy and her mother to the party. Fernando gets upset and tells Teresa, that Rudy isn't permitted to enter Salinas residence forever. Rudy returns to Caňada Seca and is welcomed by Mercedes. Dorothy and Art prepare themselves for the party at Salinas' residence. When Dorothy appears, Art finds her wardrobe as too imformal dress. It makes Dorothy angry and tells Art, she will come alone, if he feels ashamed for her. Father José talks to Mercedes and hints her to marry Rafael. Mercedes tells father José, she still has feelings for Art. Next day, Manuela walks in kitchen and assures herself, that menu of the party is properly prepared. Aunt Gabriela comes to visit Emilio. She is very surprised, when Bernarda opens the door. Bernarda tells Gabriela, that Emilio is away. She also tells Gabriela, that when she was fired from Salinas' residence, gentleman Emilio offered her to live with him as long as necessary. Dinner is prepared and Lorenzo, Cella and Felisa wear ceremonial uniorms. Suddenly, Anais appears and suprisingly knows the menu, because it is menu, which was prepared many times, when Isabel was alive. Domestic staff is scared, because it seems, that Anais anticipates a lot, what happens. Guests comes to the party. Emilio is first. When Teresa and Gabriela almost argue with Emilio about Bernarda, come Antonio and Mariana, than Anais, who obviously wears Isabel dress. The last guests to come are Leonardo, Art and Dorothy. Bernarda is worried about Anais/Isabel, she doesn't know, if Anais/Isabel is strong enough to fulfill the plan, get rid of Manuela, and reconquer heart of Fernando. Rudy and Mercedes talk about party, on which Manuela invited them. Rudy never wants to enter Salinas' residence and Mercedes doesn't want to encounter with Fernando. Manuela gives everybody glass of champagne. She announces her pregnancy. Dorothy and Mariana are only ones, who feels joy. Faces of the others seem to be angry or sad. Manuela repeats, what she said, but the situation is no better. Manuela moves towards Fernando, but he leaves in library. Aunt Gabriela tries to calm Manuela down, but the others look at Manuela with anger in their eyes. Manuela comes in library and want to talk with Fernando. Fernando doesn't respond. After a short while, he yells at Manuela and treats her with brutality. Fernando is sterile and from his perspective, Manuela is pregnant with Rudy, that's why she invited him for the party. Manuela doesn't understand, so Fernando demonstrates papers, which are results of medical examinations from all over the world. The result is, that Fernando is sterile and is unable to have children. Manuela doesn't understand. Outside the library, the guests are pretty shocked. Teresa asks them to leave, because it seems, that party is over. Leonardo, Mariana and Antonio, Art and Dorothy leave. Domestic staff discuss, what happened. Cella, Lorenzo and Felisa knew, that Fernando is sterile, so when Luisa wants to defend Manuela, she stays outnumbered. At Elisa's flat, Mariana asks Antonio about what happened. Antonio tells Mariana, that Fernando is sterile. He can't have children, he was diagnosed by doctor Villa and all other important clinics approved that. Antonio suspects, that Manuela is pregnant with Rudy. Mariana denies that, but the so-called proofs are against her. Manuela doesn't understand and doesn't trust the shown results. Angry Fernando leaves the library...
