People are meaning making machines. We attached meaning to everything." Life is meaningless and it's meaningless that it's meaningless". Say it to yourself a few times.
Read it a few times before you leave me a stupid reply. Then tell me exactly why you think I'm wrong. If you do think I'm wrong.

On investing..and don't take advice from a cleaner..
If you are poor and want to get rich within 5 years you have to use the bullet approach.
If you are rich or poor but have time then the shot gun approach is for you. Shotgun =diversification
    Bullet= eggs in one basket
Bullet investing is gambling and high risk.
    Step 1..know the trends
    2 mix with traders
3 find a good broker,a young hungry climber and pay for advice
4 pick from 1 to 10 stocks all high risk high reward and bet the farm on it.
If you lose start again and do it again when you can
Once you hit pay dirt diversify 95 % capital into top 100 blue chips 5% into high risk high reward.
But expect to lose and be prepared to win big bigger than you ever thought possible.

@@NonAbsoluteAbsolutisim1 experience but I didn't do the 95% in blue chip thing..when I made 1mil I wanted 2mil. Always sell the high risk high reward stocks when they enter the blue sky period..why because the almost always fall back to their previous low price..best of luck but you need balls of steel. If I did what I told everyone I was going to do..get out of oil and get into lithium I would be looking at 50mil. You have to be near insane to invest 1 mil on a falling knife but that was the play!

Would you continue to give if directly or indirectly you got no thanks, no gratitude, no appreciation in return? How does it feel when we share something valuable on Twitter and instead of being appreciated we are reprimanded? If we expect something in return, then is it not just trade? When we were younger we traded time and skills for money, now we trade advice for money or gratitude. We never became unselfish; only the goods being traded have changed.
The purpose of life is only to continue. My DNA has been around for millions of years, and wants to continue to be there, forever. Think about building a machine that could survive that long. Very hard. We do not comprehend our own competence. What we do and why we do it is mostly hidden from us. We fit vague explanations to explain our behavior to ourselves. Trying to understand this vast intelligence is perhaps what we experience as the thirst for meaning.

Scott claims there's no difference between being a parent and building a company (or: investing all your time and energy in a professional career).
    Complete and utter BS.
The older you get the more obvious it becomes to you: this is a lie.
_(I don't think Scott want's to deceive you intentionally. Most likely it's just a lot of sloppy wishful thinking.)_
Let's put it in the systems perspective. When you become a parent you become immortal. In a very real sense a big part of you will live on forever.
When you create, say, a company it will most likely die shortly after you die. As an "added bonus", it doesn't carry on any defining characteristics unique to _you_ personally.
You might say, there's a risk you might lose your children too? True. Life's a risky business, anything's possible. But, keep in mind, by having just 1 child you're actually still "in the red". You share him/her with your wife, thus your input is only 0.5. By having 2 you're even, after that you're firmly in the black. They can still all die without leaving any children of their own but the probability of that is extremely low.
With the professional career, the odds are a perfect mirror image. The odds of your company or professional career/fame outlasting you by any significant margin are extremely low. The chances of you may hitting the jackpot and being remembered after one generation are astronomically low. Einstein and Picasso made it, Scott (at least so far) hasn't.
That's the realistic view for you. Don't buy all the lefty BS, you'll regret it bitterly. It's a promise you can take to the bank.

Regardless, it's frustrating. You don't know if they're mass unsubscribing you for real or just messing w/people? Ugh...

Perhaps, Twitter is for people who are energized more by things such as ideas. Facebook is for people who are more energized by social interactions. One generalization is that men like to work with things, whereas women like to work with people. Of Facebook users, 54% are female and 46% are male. Of Twitter users, 34% are female and 66% are male.

17:30 The odds... the math of life.. adding your 11th skill may not add 10% but double it.
Jct: Geometric, exponential, like adding a new vaccine to the list. With 10 vaccines without the 11th, there are 1024 combinations to test for contraindications: 2^10. Add the 11th, 2^11, now you have another thousand tests with the new vaccine. That's why when you get up to 20 vaccines 2^20 with 1,000,000 combinations, you can bet when the 21st vaccine comes along, they're not doing another 1,000,000 tests with it. That's why I do not only challenge vaccine effectiveness and danger, I condemn non-tested vaccine combinations.

Even to be able to bump into each other requires a common reality a filter by which I think you mean an interpretation, or maybe world view, wouldn't obviate some base reality, or else there would be no possiblity of interaction at all

Scott uses the word SELFISH to mean GREED which I think he should have used instead. SELFISH=SELF INTEREST (Orig meaning). My personal Meaning lin is the inverse, in that regard, of Scott's. Read "The Virtue Of Selfishness" by Ayn Rand. Scott's right on. Just the wrong word.
