While I prefer my numbers in freedom units, the United States military uses the metric system as much as possible to match with NATO. Hence the reason we use 5.56
As an American I hate the metric system that was forced upon us. In the 80's working as a machinist in the aerospace industry I never seen a dimension or anything using the metric system of measurement. Metric tools would've been useless there. lol
Neither will work. Too many layers in the atmosphere will disrupt the thermal signature of something that’s not super hot. Maybe if it was rocket propelled. As for a balloon what are the odds you can get a scan of a plane? The plane would have to fly directly under it which would be lucky
I understand that the Japanese Yamato were the biggest battleships ever built in history. The Iowa class is very close. But if the Yamada and Iowa class were running side by side, the 18" guns of the Yamato would out rank the 16" guns of the Iowa, as the former has a longer range 😂
Germany didn’t have a battle fleet of staggering proportions, America did! 71 escort carriers, 28 fast attack aircraft carriers, 23 battleships, 72 cruisers, 377 destroyers, 232 submarines, a total fleet of 7,601 of all types of ships… currently it has only 299 combat vessels as a comparison. Off topic but related to ww2 the U.S. army airforce had something like 500,000 total aircraft! Unbelievable!
Were Thinking That --- Possibly a Dozen B-2's accompanied by 50 or more F-22's & F-35's CAN INCINERATE THE ENTIRE POWER & COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE OF 'TEHRAN'. Now That would most certainly BRING THE IRAN CITIZENS TO THEIR LEADERS DOORSTEPS.
I like the video but two glaring mistakes and one minor one I seen - # 1 during the Spanish American war the United States fielded the 30/40 Craig bolt action repeating rifle not a single shot rifle as the video said. These rifles while very accurate used a side-load single cartridge at a time loading. The Spanish used the 1893 Mauser rifle that used a very fast five round stripper clip loading system that was very fast compared to the Craig rifle. Some Single shot 45/70 rifles were used by rear echelon troops. #2 The Barrett 50 BMG sniper rifle can engage a target well over one kilometer away But the video said only one kilometer. #3 The U2 spy plane that was shot down by a surface to air missile but was not mentioned that it was in the Soviet Union over flight by the person describing the situation. Better fact checking would help this otherwise superb video .
OK the guns were deployed in Europe so it makes sense for him to talk about it but he still can't pronounce the most common word used when talking about strategic weaponry
😂 The sherman was known as the Tommy cooker, it killed thousands of British tankers, the Germans loved it. By the way, the sherman may have saved the British but because the British stood thier ground and defeeted Romil they saved the USA.
@@randybobandy9828 Of course no other country makes such stealth aircraft... why should they? You are making big compromises that slow down your plane and make it less maneuverable! And in 2024, with 24-hour live satellite monitoring, this will no longer be necessary
@Hammifornia24 😂 this is also funny. Remind us who has the right to carry firearms in their pockets and isn't getting fined and arrested for misgendering idiots on social media🤔. Brits can't be that intelligent, their country is way more fubar than ours is and we'll be getting it right this week.
"Each" means one of something. Sometimes it turns up in discussions of a lot of somethings: it means "taking them one by one." It's singular. Each of these weapons _is_ whatever you say it is, get it? "Each of them are..." is a good phrase to use if you want to announce to the world that you're a moron.

That's my American dream will come true one day Hail Mother America
American's are Powerful, Brilliant,❤
This is a bot 🤖
This is nice... but as an American... we speak in freedom fractions

THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIR !!!
Man I miss the boat!
7:30 Except none of that footage is from the atomic cannon test.
Pesawat itu rasanya lebih mudah dijejak dengan termal satellite atau termal ballon attitude tinggi ,pot haba nya menhala ke atas,😊👍insyaAllah

I was Saw from Bangladesh. It has better known information.

An error in this documentary: The very First appearance of a Tank was not in 1918, but
on 20 november 1917 during the battle of Cambrai.
Why in the hell are you calling out metric measurements? 🤦🏻♂️
Brother, this channel uploads documentaries. It does not create them.
It’s in metric because the United States military uses the metric system in order to better comply with NATO
Because 99% of the world uses the metric system
How can I take this first guy seriously when he's not American and he says "new cue lurr" instead of nuclear?
OK the guns were deployed in Europe so it makes sense for him to talk about it but he still can't pronounce the most common word used when talking about strategic weaponry
Sherman's saved the British in North Africa... Al Alamein.. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
😂 The sherman was known as the Tommy cooker, it killed thousands of British tankers, the Germans loved it. By the way, the sherman may have saved the British but because the British stood thier ground and defeeted Romil they saved the USA.
FYI when Eisenhower was first inaugurated there were 48 states, not 50.
Who produced this? It's the same VO as Mythbusters
Funnily enough, the voiceover guy is Australian.
Admittedly the British were the first to employ radar. Oh well..
12:29 John Connor!? Bro, he's gonna be explaining the engineering of Terminators next! 😂
I saw that too.
Excellent and thank you for pointing that out lol
50,000 tanks Sherman were produced. Now 5,000....
I can see this. Ex-military, Artillery😊. ME SMASH!

Do laser work in a frog or nuclear fallout
Gilgamesh used smoke to defeat a laser tank
Haha worked with ♈ in the Navy in the 00's
Stealth is old Tech^^
No it's incredibly relevant... So much so that no other country but the US has manufactured an actual useful stealth fighters or bomber.

Sad that humans put all the resources and effort into killing each other instead of trying to help humanity be better.
That's the absolute truth.
Especially when the military complex is the majority of our spending.
America make it, well we will make it bigger comrad
As an African American I’m not a threat
The Warthog would stand a chance against modern SHORAD.
Why are all of the “experts” on US stuff British? 🤦🏻♂️
Because overall Brits are more intelligent and interesting than Americans
😂 right

“experts”
Because yanks are dumb as dog 💩
Snipers were active in the USA Civil War. A famous shot was over a mile.
