I know I am late to the party but my problem is after I shoot over 10 rounds and try to cut strafe it seems my character locks up for a second as my character starts to do the animation of hip fire and that causes precious seconds where someone can beam me.
Same here. If you don’t completely get out of the shooting animation before you start to strafe, your character will stumble. The timing is very tricky
What button should i remap to run I am on xbox seris got all the correct settings but the button i can remap I'm getting tired of people running circles around me and my character keeps stopping when i run with left stick i was told to remap run button but the person never told me what button 😂😅😅
Sorry for the late reply. You have to get your character running first. You can’t attempt it from a dead stop. When I do my review of the dual sense edge controller I’ll answer some questions.
One thing that's become clear to me, especially after seeing this, is that there's some sort of input issue with my old PS4, perhaps related to lag. I noticed how responsive your character was, how quick it cut and moved exactly as you moved your analogue sticks. That doesn't happen for me. Whenever I try to do this - and I've practiced a hell of a lot - it feels like there's about a quarter of a second or more lag between the input and the movement. The result is a slow ass strafe that is all but worthless in combat. Often when trying to cut back and forth I'll just end up walking. It's extremely frustrating. Nonetheless, I need to try again with remapping my buttons. I tried it once before and couldn't get used to it; my brain got all confused producing goofy play that cost me and my teams dearly. It's obvious that it makes a big difference when done as it should be done - without goofiness or brain farts. (*And this is nothing compared to the issues all of this causes with my aim, which isn't very good to begin with. But that's another story. The aim you display in your videos terrifies me.)
It’s funny you mentioned this because I had the same input lag when I first got my 4K tv for my game room. I had to mess with the scene selection and it stopped doing it. I have zero experience with monitors and such , however I noticed when I hooked up my ps5 to my wife’s work monitor - there was no lag input at all and the gameplay was a lot smoother. Hope this helps. Btw my capture card sucks because it looks a lot smoother on my regular setup than what this video shows.
@@obsidianb.8277 Good to know. I'll have a different setup fairly soon - hopefully a PS5 too, at last - and though it won't make me a great player, it should at least *help* with snappier movement. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the vid. Always informative to see how the good ones do it.
But 6 people should still kill 1 person regardless of this movement right? That guy got to be on scripts, because the game just aint developed that way that 1 can survive double figure magazines from multiple sources. 😂

To cut strafe, from what i practiced. I believe you need to be at 1/3 of the joystick When running left you'll need to go to the 2/3 which is the bottom right on your joystick. The same thing applies with runnung to the right but instead, go to the 3/3 of the joystick which is on the bottom left If you don't unferstand what i mran with the 2/3 or 3/3 Imagine a circle and divide it by 3s The forward will be at 1/3 the starting point, the bottom right will be 2/3, and the bottom left will be 3/3. When cut strafing left, go to the 2/3 and wait half a second to go back to 1/3 again because if you do it too fast. Then you will stop running. When cut strafing right, go to 3/3, wait half a second then go back to 1/3. Hope this simplifies the basic understanding of how cut strafing works. I am not 100% sure but it could vary from the direction you're going so you might either need to go a little more to the left or right depending on which way you're cut strafing.
@@obsidianb.8277 for PlayStation there isn't an official controller like the xboxs elite so scuf is the only way. @@obsidianb.8277 Scuf is fine. I did have to send my PS5 controller back because the hair trigger quit working but luckily I was in the 6 month warranty. They had it back working within 10 days. I'd recommend NOT getting the hair trigger option. It doesn't work well with quick scoping snipers or quick shotting with Shotgun. Alot of times the shot doesn't go off.

FYI can’t do it on div2 as you could have done more better in Div 1
