They’re going on a world tour they started in their country Japan and they will be coming to the United States in October believe me these girls have set the bars for rappers regardless if you consider them K-pop or Jpop but I believe that Simon mentioned that they consider this Xpop I sing and rap in English mostly, Japanese and Korean if you don’t consider them international then you would be sadly mistaken. Before 2NE1 and Big Bang, Korean music was going in a very western direction which included rap which the SKorean censorship banned any music that would inspire "rebellious ideology" thus KPop was born which is a SK government product. I never liked APop as the genre but instead I called it XPop 30 yrs ago. XG is exactly what I described XPop to be but I was 30 yrs ahead. I am Korea born but American as they come and I don't like KPop at all. I find it corny...all of it even New Jeans. I even went as far as why the group had to be nonKorean, based in Japan and sung in all English for very specific reasons. There is a name I see in XGALX named Chancellor who I believe is Perry. I'm about to ruin KPop for y'all. Every beat is repeated every year if not several times a year. Exact same beat. Once you notice it, KPop become repetitive and eventually corny. And have you noticed the singers are very sexualized? Especially the men and I know why. Long enough rant. Y'all haven't heard anything yet. XG already had hundreds of songs prewritten for 20 yrs and all are chart toppers.

Word is Cocona had a shaved head when she was younger and wanted to do it again, and Simon gave her the go ahead to do it in this video. There's a recent BTS video showing that she actually shaved a bunch of it off during the video, then I assume got a professional to clean it up.

It's X-Pop... can't be categorized (or it's their own category) aka XG = Xtraordinary Girls aka XGALZX (The group was formed by Xgalx, a subsidiary of Avex.) aka X-Pop bc they're paving the way for a new sound. They fluently switch from English, Japanese, Korean in their lyrics and, not only make it flow, but it lyrically makes sense while still structuring it in very advanced bars pattern.
I think this song is a song that challenged the world as an Asian, just like EMINEM, who made the white people to sing HIP HOP, which used to be a black music.

It’s technical not K-pop. k-POP is Korean. If you wanted to call them some Asian pop it would be J-POP. But they don’t fit into either category.

@@AlphaToOmegaXGit technically can be tho. ngl i love the girls but they promote in korea and outside of their song concepts they are heavily kpop influenced and incorporate korean lyrics in some of their songs. while i don’t think they should be pinned down as JUST kpop i don’t think the influence should just go out the window either.

It's X-Pop... can't be categorized (or it's their own category) aka XG = Xtraordinary Girls aka XGALZX (The group was formed by Xgalx, a subsidiary of Avex.) aka X-Pop bc they're paving the way for a new sound. They fluently switch from English, Japanese, Korean in their lyrics and, not only make it flow, but it lyrically makes sense while still structuring it in very advanced bars pattern.
I think this song is a song that challenged the world as an Asian, just like EMINEM, who made the white people to sing HIP HOP, which used to be a black music.
They even mixed in a little Anubis in there

WOW. I know I'm going to get hit with a bunch of hate for this but I can take it. This was the most pointless reaction to this song yet. These two dudes were so busy running their mouths over the ENTIRE song that they didn't hear a good 75% of it. Too busy spouting all of their wisdom. Yes, we get it you know stuff. All the talking and then they threw in all of the "WOOOO's and WHOA's And WOW's and little noises of wonderment. Why bother. This is no reaction. I think for Rap heavy songs like Woke Up, reactors should watch the entire video first, taking in all the elements and the artistry, then go back and pick up the bars, the meanings, the details. That is probably the most satisfying for the viewer and fans of XG.
