another thing about the beet shield that you forgot to mention! the list of chemical filters, especially UVA filters, approved in the US is very limited and hasn’t been updated in a while. so, the beet shield can’t even be FDA approved because the UV filters used in it are too advanced for US markets, lol

Exaxtly. But korean subscreens are better for people who are darker then white skin. Because it doesn' leave a white cast whereas almost sll americsn sunscreens leave a white cast.

Krave Beauty is the brand I have seen the best results from in the shortest amount of time, which is saying something because I've been super into skincare for ~7 years. LOVE the matcha hemp cleanser, but i live in LA and my skin type is "normal" to slightly dry so I see better results from hydrating cleansers in this desert climate.
Why doesn't the matcha hemp cleanser not have any matcha in it though? Or am I mistaken? Can someone please help me??
Mariam Jo Matcha is a green tea. They listed it as it’s scientific name “camellia sinensis” in the ingredient list :)

I tried the great barrier relief, and after 2 days i saw significant reduction in my acne and helped repair my skin! This was the only product i’ve used in years that actually helped my skin

I've tried the Krave cleanser and also their sunscreen and I really really like them.
Just one bottle/tube of cleanser lasted for about 6 months and it's so good, it's the best cleanser I've ever tried.
The sunscreen is very different from what I've tried before because it gives you a glowing look, kinda like a glass skin effect and it absolutely works, it protects my face from harsh sunlight and it doesn't irritate my eyes.
I haven't tried the other 2 Krave products, but I'm excited to see if they work for me 😊🤞🏽

This is One of the few skincare Lines that I would love to try out. Liah seems so genuine and she puts a lot of attention to ingredients. She Is beautiful and nice, too

Been using The Beet Shield since Liah got it to the US. I will never use anything else. Even my 8 y/o uses it before school. ( rec is war lol) Start them young! Love liah and this brand.

Does the beet shield have spf? Will it protect your skin from aging and dark spots?
@@sashajolie8995 Yes it does! It is a sunscreen but like Hyram said they just can't claim it's a sunscreen in the US. It has SPF 50.

Laura Gill I have oily, acne prone, EXTREMELY sensitive skin and this is the only face wash I want to use for the rest of my life. It’s a gel so it does foam and actually makes your skin feel clean, but it’s so rich that it doesn’t at all dry your skin out (even though every other gel cleanser I’ve tried has) and has never irritated my skin. It also just had a wonderful luxurious texture. I can’t recommend it enough.
Kaitlyn Stewart thank you for letting me know!! I actually ordered it a few dahs ago and can’t wait to try it! I have combo skin so I think it will work great, I got the Simple gel to try while waiting for the Matcha to arrive but to be honest it’s a miss for me, too drying

I've been binge watching your videos because I only discovered you a few weeks ago. Never heard of krave beauty but from your recommendation and the fact they are morally on my level with social and environmental issues have convinced me I need to try this line
I was looking forward to this video so much! Hyram, you should definitely try etude house's soon jung line. It is specifically for sensitive acne prone skin and has no fragrance or essential oils. I am genuinely in love with their barrier cream. I had been traveling a lot and my skin broke out so bad, and that moisturizer helped calm it down so much ❤️❤️❤️
Wht do u think about their toner and can u tell in details abt their products u hv tried? Maybe pros n cons?
@@skylarvaldes1087 To be honest, I don't really see any cons. The price point is good and I found no problematic ingredients. Their stuff is just super hydrating and gentle. Yet to try the toner, but the cleanser, 2x barrier cream, sleeping pack and sheet mask are all really great at doing this. They're just really great at calming down your skin
Soon Jung is my go-to line when my rosacea is flaring up. Very calming and gentle!

I bought krave beauty cleanser after watching hyram review.
I'm 19yrs old and i used to have closed comedones and sensitive combination skin.
This cleanser is so amazing .
But i really love krave beauty cleanser. It's just 2days i used krave beauty cleanser. But it really calm my skin redness (my cheek and my skin look like fresh)I really love krave beauty. I used to watch hyram channel since i'm new to skincare. Past, i used skincare wrongly. so, it cases my skin breakout but i almost recover now.
I'm so excited to use krave beauty great barrier relief and exfoliating toner because cleanser is so hype 💥 i bought Great barrier relief and used it after watching my UA-cam review . I used it for 2 week . It's the best serum i've ever used
Great Barrier relief cured my dermatitis (heat rash?) that I had last summer. It also kept my skin hydrated throughout the whole winter. I highly recommend that you get it too!
Thank you for bringing up the environmental aspect of glass vs plastic packaging! It’s hard to do for skincare, especially where I usually shop at the drugstore, but it’s worth bringing up for those who have more, as well as for brands that may be listening.
when you just ordered the beet shield and kale serum and hyram APPROVES = the best feeling ever
I had horrible hormonal acne and very very sensitive skin. The cleanser didn't fix it but it was the LITERAL only thing I could find that didn't make it worse. When I finally bit the bullet and got a prescription for my acne, the matcha hemp hydrating cleanser remained my faithful friend and helped clear my skin up. It's been three years and I still swear by this stuff

1: We Stan the ordinary, the inky list, youth to the people,cerea VE, and krave beauty.
2: We dislike Mario badescu, clean and clean , must of neutrogena products, most of tatcha products and other brands who use fragrance
3: fragrance is a BIG no. It can can cause many problems
4: Mario badescu is just fragrance in water
5: make up wipes do more harm than good ( for your skin and the environment)
6: double cleanse if you wear makeup
7: chemical exfoliating is way better than phisical exfoliating
8: everyone’s skin is different
9: everyone needs to moisturize
10: use what works for you
11: fragrance is fine in a wash off treatment
12: be gentle with your skin

When will the brand make these products available to Canada. We aren’t that far from the US and easy enough for companies to either ground or air ship products here. We have so many stores here that sell K beauty including nature republic and innisfree and some smaller independent shops. So I was hoping to be able to try krave beauty but what’s the point if I can’t get my hands on it easily to repurchase if I end up loving it.
Yaaay - the title had me worried but I'm glad it was a positive review. I'm so relieved that the Beet Shield is not one of the bad chemical sunscreens, because I have been loving it and that was my one lingering concern about it!

the GBR is a dreeeaaaaam for my redness!! i use it morning and night and it reduces so much of the redness around my acne & helps alleviate the look of my post-inflammatory erythema 😍😍😍 i think it’s helping to protect my skin from general irritation as well. i agree with you, i’m so in love with it!
How long do you think the GBR bottle lasts?

Do you use it as a serum or as a moisturizer or both? I'm thinking of using it as a moisturizer after the serum I'm using. Mainly to treat hyperpigmentation and redness on my skin.

could u plz do one with Kora organics by Miranda Kerr? I've heard so much good reviews on her products n im quite curious about them.
I feel like their products are super gimmicky and full of ingredients not really proven to do anything (but thats just my opinion). Brands like Krave Beauty, The Ordinary, or several Korean brands might give you more bang for your buck.
Few years ago, I was only into organic natural skin care. So I bought kora organics Noni glow oil, Noni glow eye oil and tinted moisturiser. Spend nearly 200 AUD and it did nothing for my skin. Now I use some Korean skin care products , retin-A, ordinary resveratrol serum, vit C powder and niacinamide 10% . If you have extra money I think it's wise to spend on a good vit C serum like medik8 or skinceuticals and buy a retin-A or retinol cream. Add a SPF 50 Korean sun cream like cos rx or etude house sunprise. I think that's all you need. I was a person who would make my own cream from coconut oil and beeswax. But my skin got ruined going all natural. Drunk elephant would be a good brand if you want to be in the safe side and still could get great results, but pricey too..:-)
Do your own review! Look at the ingredients and use beautipaedia
I bought the Kora Orgaincs mini set of the cream clenser, mist and moisturizer and let me tell you, it was extremely underwhelming. They did absolutely nothing for my skin. The products I tried were very average, if that. I would have been very upset have I spent $100 buying the full size products. 100% it is unfortunately not worth the price.
I haven’t tried Beet Shield but you just sold me!( dry/dehydrated) the PRICES- amazing

I just purchased a bunch of their products! I love their website and how they define all of the ingredients and what they do! That is so important to me and I think every consumer. I, too, am a skin care junkie and I’ve been doing a bunch of research the past few months and can’t wait to see how these work with my skin!

@@nattiemae It's pretty perfect in consistency if you ask me; not thick but not too runny, just right and gives me a nice subtle glow. I also love the Purito facial sunscreen. Both are just right and don't break my sensitive skin out.

Interesting to hear the experience of someone with oily skin with this line, guess Krave has everyone covered lol. Also, I love that you emphasize hydration despite being oily as its unfortunately a common mistake that hydration and oily skin need to be mutually exclusive.

Drunk Elephant contains skin loving ingredients and I enjoy their products - but no reason to pay that much when there are more affordable options that are just as good. (i.e. Cerave, Cosrx, Paula's Choice, etc)

i just found you and i love your content!! krave beautys serum is my ride or die its literally life changing. my skin went from dry, red and raw to actual skin like with more hydration and lesser breakouts. they are launching an oat moisturiser with less than 10 ingredients (!!!) in oct I CANT WAIT

I really love krave beauty products that I even have all 5 of their products. I've been really loving their products especially the kale-lalu-yAHA exfoliating toner and great barrier relief serum. OMG these two products have been working wonders on my skin especially the latter, as I can see my skin clearing up specifically redness and blemishes.
As for the remaining products, the cleanser is really gentle and not stripping on my combination skin, the oat so simple cream is really a fuss free and moisturising cream I really need to end my night routine.
Beet the shield sunscreen is so light and and the best part is that it doesn't make my face feel like a grease ball in the afternoon, which I feel majority of the sunscreen I have tried does to me, and ends up clogging my pores.
Liah deserves all the love in the world for creating this amazing brand ❤️
I’ve been using Tamanu oil for 6 years, now. I wish I feel the same way as you do about its scent. Regardless, I love tamanu oil (organic and cold-pressed in amber glass jars) that much to endure its scent. It definitely has beautiful healing properties. I do love using organic and cold-pressed rose-hip oil, too.
Can’t wait to be able to buy Krave in Canada.... I NEED that sunscreen in my life 😭🇨🇦

I've been using the Beet Sheild like crazy and was disappointed when I noticed it didn't have SPF on the bottle, I thought I must have misunderstood something - woohoo!

Beet Shield is the only sunscreen that doesn't cause me to breakout more and doesn't irritate my skin. Great Barrier Relief has turned out to be my go to nightly treatment.
Some people find the smell of tamanu oil off putting but I LOVE it! I'm glad I'm not alone
Man, in few days (3 days) i learned allot from you and how to take care of my skin, i thought expensive products does have that amazing rare extract elements that help the skin and then i realized that most of their products are bad for the skin! Thank you for these treasure info.
i purchased the full set and just yesterday i tried it, man, you really something, the cleanser is amazing since my skin is combination, the spf is super amazing, and so is the barrier, the only concern is about the barrier, its smell is just too much fenugreek which is quite awful so i can't wear it at work because of the smell but for it's benefit i just can't complain at all. Man this brand is a MUST to anyone who loves their skin, so i have added KRAVE long side with Sensai, and Lancome absolue line, and i have eliminated LA Prairie, and La Mer, really worth it's price. Thank you Hyram.
Krave’s updated packaging is something that all CPG (consumer product goods) brands should follow! They actually teach you what the packaging is made of and how to recycle it and they’re honest/transparent in simple words. I applaud their efforts in educating us and minimizing their impact on earth 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Obviously not Hyram here, but I have a feeling he does not like it, because unfortunately their products are full of natural fragrance, like fuuuuuull of of it. They don't even scare away from using the most irritating ones like citrus and lavender. :/

I rewatched this video after watching Liah Yoo's video on sustainable skincare and she mentions the glass vs plastic packaging discourse, I think that's why the skincare products aren't packaged in glass.
I have to pause this video as I've been selecting some videos of yours that interest me and just say THANK YOU for talking so openly about waste in the beauty industry 😭 I saved all my empties for almost a year and cleaned them out yesterday after watching Liyas video on recycling last week. I recycled what I could and had to dispose some lids and pumps into the trash which broke my heart. Moving onward, I would really like to go package free or use brands that are more environmentally conscious. Drunk Elephant's solid cleansers are amazing but their packaging is not recyclable to my knowledge. Most brands aren't. Sigh. It's getting better by the year so it seems.
I have 3 of the 5 products because mama coulda splash out that much money at once but I can’t wait until Krave is sold in stores! It’s getting popular so quickly so I’m crossing my fingers that it’s relatively soon-ish.
