Hot tip for anyone trying to do the achievement: make the pipe go uphill as much as possible and downhill as little as possible. You travel slower going up hill, and the achievement only cares about time traveling, not distance traveled.
Took me 20 minutes to build mine in Solo, as Driller, but finally it is done ! My only regret is not hosting the game in Private first, to turn it Public when it's done, so other people could benefit from it... I tried to host in Public from the beginning but people would just build random stuff and ruin it.
For the record, if video didn't mention it.. you don't have it hooked up for the achievement to count BUT... you've built a long pipe, it'll take forever to UNDO and you likely have to hook to A pumpjack, so might aw well.

I am playing on microsoft store version, because I have family who plays on Xbox. I cannot seem to get this achievement to proc. I've actually built a 3+ minute pipe, which took me over two hours to accomplish. Still nothing.
Honestly I don't even see an achievement that pertains to building a pipeline lasting over 2 minutes on xbox. I have unlocked most of them on xbox and gone through them to check, but I don't see it. I have only 2 secret achievements left and I'm positive I know what one is, and the other, according to TrueAchievements, is having to do with all 4 dwarves saying cheers at the same time while dancing while music is playing from jukebox. Idk I'm honestly not sure this pipeline thing is an Xbox achievement. It might only be Steam
Is this actually an achievement? I swear I have tried this several times only because I heard about it from friends, but nothing happened for me. I made my ride at least 2 minutes long. I don't get it. I have 2 secret achievements left to unlock and I have no idea what they are though.

Me and my friend did this, and it took so long killing the praetorians and connecting the tracks and drilling to make way

@@Se05239 1 year late but I just made a huge roller coaster in the span of 1 hour it had ups downs and it went for exactly 2 minutes
Another tip, do it with the engineer, not the driller. You can get it done faster with platforms vs drilling.
@@OneManGaming Sure it is. much easier to toss up a bunch of platforms rather than dig.
@@OneManGaming Sry I disagree. I can spam 32 platforms over a much larger span than you can drill with 50 fuel. Just pick a wide open map.

That’s not possible as you have to release your grind to change position. You have to start the grind and be grinding for the whole 120 seconds.
@@OneManGaming Oh. I seem to remember the devs saying in a stream you could change direction just by pressing the grind button again.
