This is just my opinion and we know everyone has one. I’d restore the silver car. Since they are getting to be worth money in clean condition. I think it would make a nice street FC As for the 3 rotor car. I’d repair the chassis and just get some seat time in it. Drift cars get beat up so I’d get the most out of that shell before re-shelling it. It would suck you put a lot of time and effort into a new shell for something to happen to it, get the combo sorted out and proven while building a chassis on the side maybe. Use this chassis for the 3 rotor. I would say have the 2 rotor from this car ported, the rotating assembly balanced, and then swap it into the NA Miata that’s in one of the buildings in the compound. It’d make for such a fun little compound shredder
As someone who has spent the last while building a rally car out of a crappy shell, use the good shell to start from, makes the process a whole lot nicer, unless you can find a mediocre shell that doesn't need much, use the good one, makes for a nicer end product

It must have been a Wednesday motor built at the factory...... Engine builder must have been in the Z-O-N-E! Fully Recovered from the weekend gone, not worrying about the weekend coming! Plus, The stars must have been in perfect alignment! And the owner/driver must have babied it..... Thoroughly warmed up n cooled down during its operational life! Religiously maintained! For that engine to be in that prime of condition! Bravo Colette 👏🏆👏 Just an idea..... Restore this to original factory condition (factory looking but internally spicy engine)! And the other one Adam showed you, strip, acid dip, plate n reinforce, 3 rot' and just go FULL Neon Princess Racecar! 🤔👩🏼🔧🏆🏁 😉Give Tommy FYeah a run for his money😁show him how it's done
congratulations on the new car purchase :D its always good to buy an FC :D btw thats a series 4, fc, not a series 5, or what you call turbo II, i think someone has just put the turbo II stickers on it lol, the best race car is a straight, undamaged, rust free car, being a series 4, i wouldnt worry about using it etc, put the 3 rotor in it, if it was a true series 5, i probably wouldnt, as series 5 are awesome factory looking, factory side skirts, front bumper, better interior etc, great for a road/street car.
Adam found one that wasn't good enough and this one is too good? I say it's a perfect home for the 3 rotor. You wanted to do the build right, this is how. Chase that epic FC dream.
They say highways create traffic. If there's somewhere to drive people will use it until it's inconvenient due to traffic. I think the same applies to garage space. You will collect as many cars as you can store. Good luck with that!
Hiii Collete!!! Love the videos and have been watching sense day one! Personally I think this FC you should build to be a street performance car but more so a touge mountain pass killer. Point to shoot suspension and steering perfected for handling, I think that would be super different and really sick to see compared to another widebodied drift FC. Do as you please as it’s your personal car but that’s just my opinion and think it would be so cool! Congrats and good luck on the build!!!
Restore this one for sure. There are other FC that can but cut up for a race car. This is too nice of a base to not do it justice. Going to be great !!!
If I had to be honest this chassis is a perfect racecar candidate, and the body damage is what makes me say that. At least from how it looks on video the damage to that passenger side rocker seems pretty bad. Like weld in replacement sheet metal type of bad. Or just body filler and a lot of shaping but at that point IMO its not a proper restoration anyway. Just my 2 cents, still an amazing find! Super fucking clean in terms of rust!
do the restoration in yellow with black interior and use the sailor 7 chassis for the 3-rotor build if that one‘s cleaner as the current 3-rotor chassis

You already have the shell for the turbo 2 rotor! The mint NA Miata garage find!!!
Keep it number matched don’t change any color from interior - exterior
I used loctite instant gasket(black) to hold side trim on my jeep, still on ten years later.
Countache with contrasting, keep it silver with red interior.Wheels and ride height will make it look amazing
Good to see you focusing on the Mazda's again. I'd restore this FC and get another roller to re-shell the drift car. Nothing wrong with having a nice cruiser.
There was an fc with sort of a wine red interior with red leather seats so of your going for the restore option that'll set it off really well
Restore it! It's fantastic!! Down with the Silver with red interior
You deserve a beautiful turbo 2 street car. This is probably the best candidate you can find.
So clean!!!! I wish I would have beat you to it!!!! Honestly this car is so clean and complete it would be a shame to cut it up. Tough choice! edit: like someone else said you should drop a rotary in your Miata!!
Build the 3 with it!!
It’ll be so much nicer for the race car with good bones
Dang you!!!! So hard to find one too. Definitely a fun street build.
Bravo Colette 👏🏆👏
Just an idea..... Restore this to original factory condition (factory looking but internally spicy engine)! And the other one Adam showed you, strip, acid dip, plate n reinforce, 3 rot' and just go FULL Neon Princess Racecar!
🤔👩🏼🔧🏆🏁
😉Give Tommy FYeah a run for his money😁show him how it's done
congratulations on the new car purchase :D its always good to buy an FC :D btw thats a series 4, fc, not a series 5, or what you call turbo II, i think someone has just put the turbo II stickers on it lol, the best race car is a straight, undamaged, rust free car, being a series 4, i wouldnt worry about using it etc, put the 3 rotor in it, if it was a true series 5, i probably wouldnt, as series 5 are awesome factory looking, factory side skirts, front bumper, better interior etc, great for a road/street car.
So rad to see u and Adam n the porche..
Now the vargos bros can build u a hot 3 rotor
You have the most exciting channel for the simple fact that you love rotarys like I do!!
Keep it stock, restore it to mint, its too good of a chell to chop it up, its worth a left hand and an arm restored, nice find Collete!!
Restore this one for sure. There are other FC that can but cut up for a race car. This is too nice of a base to not do it justice. Going to be great !!!
I am loving the consistency it's great. Good job.
RESTO MOD IT!
Kind of OEM looks with a build motor and bigger turbo.
Lower a bit and you've got a SICK Street car!!!
do the restoration in yellow with black interior and use the sailor 7 chassis for the 3-rotor build if that one‘s cleaner as the current 3-rotor chassis
