Hi guys! I've been wanting to do an updated review of The Epiphone Sheraton II Pro that I'm calling "The Epiphone Sheraton II Pro One Year Later | Still Worth It? One Year Later. You know guys, in the time that has passed since when Epiphone so graciously invited me to check this beauty out I've gotten the chance to REALLY dig into it. A WOW! There are so many hidden tones and vibes that allow me to express myself in the most creative way. Saying, "I love the sound," that I get from this guitar would be a huge understatement. The way it feels and plays speaks the language of my musical soul and "one year later" is it still worth it? YES! I truly would change a thing about this guitar. I was so unfamiliar with Epiphone and semi-hollow body-style guitars, and now I can say that I'm intimately familiar with this instrument, but don't get it twisted! I've got A LOT to learn about this guitar. The great thing I know is that as I continue to grow and push my own boundaries as an artist I'll have a guitar that supports that growth. Also, thanks to all of you my viewers for supporting me on this journey.

You might like an Epiphone Broadway. They no longer make it, but they're out there. I replaced the rosewood bridge with a tun-o- ABR-1 & love it. It is bigger than your Sheraton.
Got my sunburst Sheraton II Pro in April from Sweetwater. Very impressed with it!
I have one like that i bought it when i was19, few years later the Northridge Earth quake came and it fell and broke the toggle switch and some of the volume knobs , so i replaced all the electronics with better ones in the 1035$ and it was worth it sounds great has that deep base sound as well same color too,, keep playing Van Hellen i may post some vids of me playing soon with guitar backing tracks as well ,you inspired me gpd bless and take care
Wow Helen, this is such a beautiful guitar, and you make it sing! Love the piece that starts at 4:30, this would make a great opening theme for a road movie. The old pickup truck disappearing down a dusty road at sunset...
That intro solo is all I needed to hear to decide to buy this guitar. LOVELY, absolutely lovely 💕👌🏽

I also have a Sheraton, as well as a Fender Strat and a 1968 Gibson SG, and yet this is my favorite all-around guitar. I play a wide variety of styles and I do so so I can get more gigs, but this is the guitar I use for most of them whether blues, jazz, rock, country, etc., You sound great on it. As beautiful as the one playing it.

i have the same guitar same color too great guitar. the only thing ive done to the guitar is changed it to a nashville bridge and put treble bleeds in love your video's
I bought a used Sheraton II Pro in the natural wood color in August of 2021, and it’s been fantastic. It’s one of the best set up guitars I’ve ever owned. I think the Sheraton is a great value. At some point I’d like to throw some Gibson classic PAFs in it.

Yes...both pups have a pull up knob that splits the dual coils to single coil. Comes in handy when playing in middle position of pup selector...

Helen, did you know that BOTH volume pots have push/pull knobs for coil splitting the corresponding humbuckers? It makes it into such a versatile instrument. Enjoy!

@9:06 same opinion ! these semi-hollow body has a special little thing in the sound that makes it a kind of guitar to have and to keep ! like a jazzmaster with his tremolo that give a special sound in the strings ! and the pickups ! Thank you for the review !
A lot of top jazz players use Epiphone, Helen, have you tried the PRS Hollow body SE, getting great reviews and a fraction of the core price, saw Joe Walsh from the Eagles using one.

Just picked up a beautiful Ebony version of this guitar and I am in love. The neck profile is great for someone who has slightly smaller hands, so it's really comfortable to play. Each pickup volume pot is push/pull to split the coil, so, if you like a more quacky single coil tone, you can definitely coax that out of this guitar. In fact, I find myself playing it more split than not. The fit and finish of Epiphones in recent years has been superlative. I really enjoyed hearing you playing this guitar, Helen. You're always a joy to watch and listen to 🙂

You play Awesome I am a Epiphone freak I have a custom Silverburst I changed that cheap wire harness to A 50s wiring harness and I put some Custom Shop Pearly Gates in it it has all USA parts on it if you put some upgraded pickups it will make your tone sound even better and your Epiphone will sound Amazing I have been playing guitar for 51 years now and I still Jam with A Old School R& B Band.

being a beatle fan i wanted a epiphone casino,to add to my colection,,but after research this is the guitar im getting,its easy to still get that treble the casino gets,but has the bass so all round and blues will be better on it ynwa
I have an early 90s white Sheraton II when the truss rod cover still had Gibson on it. Picked it up a month ago at Sweetwater very cheap with original case. My band immediately started picking it up for everything. Wonderful guitar.

I love my Sheraton 2 Pro. I play a lot of early Beatles, rockabilly and this guitar's "brightness" really does well. I will say, I agree with comments on headstock... I don't really "bump" it, but it does look oversized...
it's just b/c I'm small! It's a standard 335 dimensions
I have one of these from 2008 in Natural, and I agree, it is a beautiful guitar and it feels great to play. I wasn’t crazy about the stock pickups and electronics, so I did upgrade the switch, volume pots and pickups, and now its an absolute beast. The newer Pro models are fantastic in stock form though. I’ve played a few, and they’ve all sounded consistently great.

I have this guitar in the same colour. I took off the pick guard. Just a personal aesthetic choice. I don’t play it nearly as well, but I love it! There’s a little scratch on top of the headstock from when I bashed it on the low ceiling of the practice studio while taking the guitar off. Definitely have to be careful with that big beautiful headstock, haha!
Helen, you're very enjoyable to watch and listen to. I've owned the exact same guitar since 2018 and greatly enjoy the full bodied tone you can get from it (not to mention the killer wine red colour). Recently I put flat wound strings on and they have made a wonderful sounding guitar even better. Next time you change strings, give them a try. I think they'd be a good complement to your sound. Thanks for the post.

I have an Ibanez Artcore. The ceramic PUs in the Ibanez are not good. I will be replacing them. But the ProBuckers in the Epiphone sound good.
